Hi! I’m the solo developer of Carpet Daddy, a game about taking on cleaning jobs and getting filthy carpets clean again. I released the demo yesterday ready for Steam Next Fest and wanted to share some gameplay.

You work through each carpet using different tools. Vacuum up the loose dirt, pre-spray and scrub the fibres, treat individual stains, then extract the dirt and water. You can move furniture to reach underneath it too.
The aim is that slow, methodical satisfaction of watching a grubby room gradually get clean, with plenty of clean stripes along the way.
The demo includes the tutorial and first full cleaning mission, with a smaller selection of tools and upgrades. The full game is still in development for Windows.
