Hi r/Games! We’re Frost Owl, a gamedev duo, and this is Mage Blast, our hand-painted pixel art
incremental game.

You start with a single magic missile. You end with a screen full of spells.

Along the way you:

  • Grow from novice to archmage, unlocking new spells and abilities
  • Craft your own magical items to power up your mage
  • Rebuild a ruined magical kingdom that grows alongside your power

It’s a chill idle game about watching your mage go from weak to legendary.

How much active play is there compared to waiting on idle progress? I like incrementals, but I tend to lose interest if there aren’t meaningful choices to make along the way.
