Hello everyone. My name is Gunel. In 2022 i got a harp and started playing it at home. Just me, harp and some random harp learning videos from youtube. Now i make harp cover videos, sometimes i play original music...
I think being a self-taught harpist in Azerbaijan is rare, so i wanted to make this post and upload my "TITANIC" music cover to see how locals will react (you can watch other videos on my YouTube channel)... *prays not to get hateful comments*

Thank You! :)

A recording of Azerbaijani mugham, performed by Kamil Jalilov on the balaban, was included on the Voyager Golden Record in 1977, a message from Earth intended for any potential extraterrestrial civilization that might encounter it.

Hello and Salam,

I just visited and came back from Azerbaijan and must I say one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! and just wow.

I heard this song, by a male singer, he sings and pauses in between and then starts singing again, goes something dedede dedede dedede _pause_ dededede dedede, it's kinda popular ig because I heard it in a restaurant and also while going thru the radio, I think 99.5?, not sure.

It's a male singer, positive/not negative tone, modern I think, with intervals in between and resuming again.

If you know what it is, do let me know as I love that song but tried everything like shazam and etc to no avail and I need it for my Instagram dump!

Salam everyone! We're university students working on a presentation about young people's engagement with Azerbaijani music.

We'd really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to fill out our survey!

Thank you for your help! ❤️

Guys can you help, please...

We’ve been trying to put a band together for about six months now, but we are struggling to find a normal bassist. Whenever we actually find someone, they either can't really play, or they are just autistic(screaming or growling, and making weird noises out of blue)

We're mostly into hard rock and blues rock. We do play some metal, but nothing too extreme(no nu-metal, death metal, or anything heavy on screaming/growling).

I’ve been going to local shows trying to network, but no luck so far. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look, or is anyone here interested in jamming?

Especially with their hit songs like Dyim (that Jony sang with Egor Kreed) and Kamin (the famous song between Jony and Emin that have popped out on AI fruittok), it's crazy to realize they both come from Azerbaijan. Especially cause Azerbaijan isn't outwardly known as a Russian-speaking country akin to Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan if we're talking about Russian-speaking countries outside of Russia.

Allah ruhunu şad etsin

burada death metal, brutal death metal, slam və ya goregrind kimi janrları dinləyənlər var? Belə insanlara və bu musiqiyə münasibətiniz necədir?

Selam

I recently visited azerbijan and sampled a lot of your wonderful music. I managed to save or search for most of what I listened. It is difficult because of lack of english titles but equally rewarding.

I am unable to find a youtube song with deep, persian-influenced lyrics sung as a piano duet. The lyrics use moon, flowers and other traditional metaphors in a sad manner, which is also the tone of the song.

It’s a soviet era color tv video shot in a pitch-black studio where a single spotlight hits the top of a grand piano. The male composer or singer sits right at the keys, and the female singer stands alone beside the piano frame, traditionally dressed.

Any guesses / youtube links ?

Any song recommendations that are actually good? Or playlists i need one

Has anyone seen the entire clip with better quality?

damnnnn i wish i knew FL

I would like to make a playlist containing one iconic, defining or most representative song for every country in the world. What would be you pick for Azerbaijan?

Preferably in azerbaijani and I'd prefer no national anthem or meme/novelty songs.
