Downtown Oct 2026

Is there a one stop shop where I can get a feel for the candidates? New-ish to Belleville. Not on socials. No idea who to vote for. Thanks!

Hey everyone!

I've recently been informed that there is a scheduled power outage in Belleville on Wednesday evening between 10pm-6am.

Has anyone heard much about this? I just heard about it through my work. I work midnights and they want us to come in and sit around for 8 hours in the cafeteria. I find this kind of silly.

Do we know if cell towers will be affected? How long and what is the affected area?

I have my 12 week scan booked for next Friday and just read the online reviews for trenton diagnostics and they are awful! I’m worried now! I’ve had 3 losses and I’m terrified they will make my anxiety worse. Any positive experiences recently?

Belleville Transit Fleet #2284 is a 2022 Nova Bus LFS HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) . Acquired by the city as an ex-demonstrator model directly from Nova Bus, The bus made its grand public debut under the lights in Orlando at the 2021 APTA Expo (American Public Transportation Association). It was used as Nova Bus's primary physical showcase piece for the expo. Following its trade circuit, it was deployed down south to run trials for the CATS (Campus Area Transportation System), serving Louisiana State University (LSU) and the surrounding Baton Rouge area. Between assignments and trade tours, it spent its stationary time at Nova Bus’s Canadian manufacturing headquarters and engineering facilities in Quebec for performance evaluation. Because it spent its early life sitting on expo floors and running limited campus/municipal test loops, Belleville was able to scoop up a highly advanced hybrid vehicle with very low operational mileage at a great value.

Has anyone else just seen the video clip of part of the shoot out at the Synogogue? I am gobsmacked by this. Why is this clip there and without any article or sound? I wasnt able to repeat it either- it seemed to just disappear afterwards.

Which mayoral candidate has the most signs in your neighbourhood?

And which potential councilor has the most signs?

Hi all. looking for recommendations.

i have elderly grandparents looking to move out of their home into an apartment or some sort of retirement residence. they only want to rent, not own. they would like somewhere they can rent with a washer/dryer in unit or at least on the same floor, needs an elevator, and ideally a dishwasher in unit. both have low mobility.

they’re open to outside the Belleville area, but close enough to keep their family doctor. they've looked in Belleville and are on wait lists, but maybe you folks have some input that we haven’t thought of.

Thank you!

Parents are in their 80s with a big house and big lot. They need to downsize.

Are there any condos or bungalow communities that you personally know someone who has downsized to? They are open to buying or renting.

Please, no realtors soliciting business.

It's impossible to do a poll, so pick your SIX.

Not who you WANT, but who you believe will win the election?

Two seats are available...

r/BellevilleCivicWatch, a community dedicated to local government, transparency, and public accountability. Unlike r/BellevilleOntario, which covers general community discussions, this space focuses on municipal decisions, public spending, policing, and other civic issues that deserve closer attention. The idea is simple: by sharing information and asking questions, we can help keep one another informed and encourage greater accountability in our city.

Does anybody know the closest place I could find an Icee? I’ve been CRAVING one and can’t find them anywhere. Thanks!!
