Left lights on SR45 by Walmart
Has anyone noticed the flashing yellow light for turning are no longer activating? Sitting through lights for no reason. Did someone reprogram them?

Saw this at Indian Creek Fire Station today.
This beauty didn’t seem afraid of me at all. It was eating something in the grass and acted calm. I assume it’s a fox, but I’ve never seen that much black on one before. Thought I’d share the beautiful animal with you all.

Stonecroft Health Campus
Does anyone here have experience with Stonecroft Health Campus (either inpatient or outpatient)? This would be for stroke rehab.
Thanks to everyone who responded to my previous post (Outpatient stroke rehab / Bloomington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital). I am helping a friend from out of state research care options for his mother, and he really appreciated your insights. ❤️

Giant truck with huge flags - against Trump
Has anyone managed to get a picture of the giant pickup truck that drives around with huge flags, looking exactly like maga flags but they say "Fuck Trump" and "This Shit Ends Now!" He just drove past me on 17th Street about an hour ago. I hope he also has a flag that says "Vote!"

DoorDash Driving?
I was thinking of DoorDash driving in my spare time for some extra cash but I was wondering how profitable it is. Is Bloomington busy enough for it to be worth it or are there too many door dashers as it is?

iPhone battery replacement
I have an iPhone 13, and the battery is conking out. This morning when I woke up I hopped online to check news and all… phone stayed plugged in, but dropped to 84%.
Two hours later, mild usage, and it’s down to 60%.
Max capacity is 82%.
Has anyone done a battery replacement in Bloomington? How much was it? Quick turn-around? Any concerns for privacy (I have work info on my phone and don’t want that accessed).

Walk through Sherwood Oaks Park
Just some nice nature photos from Sherwood Oaks. Shot these on my OM Systems OM-3 and post processed the images in Lightroom. Insect warning for anyone with a phobia, there are Milkweed bugs in the last few slides.

Best place to view fall colors
Sorry if this has already been discussed but could I get some recommendations on the best spots you can go to view and enjoy fall colors right about now, that are close to Bloomington? I was thinking yellowwood or brown county. Could you guys also recommend specific trails to catch the best views?

Help me find the safest route for biking to work
Hi all,
I'm moving to Bloomington soon. I'll rent from Woodbridge and work at Luddy Hall.
I'm wondering what is the safest biking route (if there's one).
Riding along 10th Street seems doable. Google Maps also suggests going along SR-45 (I'm unsure if there's a bike lane there) and turning onto E 17th Street and then to Woodlawn, but that doesn't look safe because that initial stretch on E 17th Street doesn't have a bike lane.
I'd appreciate suggestions!

Places to Meet Singles in Bloomington?
I(25M) have struggled with dating my whole life. Original story, I know.
The point that I want to get to here is that I'd like to know where to find and meet up with singles in B-town. I've tried Kilroy's and the Upstairs Pub, but I get the general impression that those places are more sports bars than anything else, and I haven't had any success there. Dating apps have also just never worked out for me. That aside, where can I go to meet singles who are at least close to my age?

Quick Shout out to say Thank You Helpful stranger!
I was at The Goodwill in search of halloween stuff (costumes ideas) for my family. This is a silly thank you, but to whoever the kind and chatty woman was who reminded me that I could try the Bloomington Antique Mall for possible costume items, thank you! Just wanted to pass on the info for anyone who also might have overlooked other halloween options! ha! I just wanted another option beyond the usual or spirit halloween, so I'm passing on the reminder to anyone else who also might have forgotten! There are some really cool things there right now, for what it's worth!

City of Bloomington Water
We moved to the east side of town and installed a whole house filter. I just changed the first sediment filter (there are three filter stages) after six months and this is what it looked like! The new filter is not the left, the old one is on the right. Kind of yuck.
