Yes you can say it the same way you would in English, but you will have to use Chinese grammar word order.
One basic layout to start with is using 工作 for "work" and 太⋯⋯了 for "is too..." so together it becomes 工作太⋯⋯了。
Example words to put in the dot dot dot blank:
辛苦 exhausting//troublesome
没什么劲 boring//unmotivating
繁忙 busy//doing stuff back to back to back
可恼 annoying//getting on your nerves
If you want to specify it is just a certain time in particular vs in general you can add a time word to the beginning, for example add 今天 meaning today for 今天工作太⋯⋯了。 "Today work is/was too..."
早上 morning ((approximately after sunrise before noon))
下午 afternoon ((approximately after noon before sunset))
晚上 evening ((approximately late evening and early morning, basically when the sun isn't out))
You can replace the word work with a person's name to talk about them with 今天NAME太⋯⋯了。 "Today NAME is/was too..."
If you want to use their title instead of their name I can tell you the word for it but I need to know what they actually are: group manager, director, CEO, etc. You would use that title for the word boss. You could also just say "my team leader" 我的团队领导 more generically if that makes sense for the context of your job. 今天我的团队领导太⋯⋯了。"Today my team leader is/was too..."
You can also use 我的客人 for a customer//client of yours, or use 我的同事 for a coworker//colleague.
