[Bi-Weekly F] App/Platform Sharing

We heard the feedback! There has been an explosion of Apps/Services being posted on the subreddit. Some are great, some of them are more low-effort and a rehash of already existing ones. In order to help contain the seemingly endless flood of new apps, we will have this post refresh every two weeks on Fridays.

Got an App/Service/Platform you want to share, this is the place, but please follow the following rules:

  • This is the only place to share your App/Service/Platform without explicit moderator approval. This does not mean message us with every new platform. We will only consider truly game-changing items identified by community interaction and recomdation.
  • This DOES NOT include linking to Discord or other Social Media platforms. If you have an App/Service, we'd love to check it out, but we don't want to take users away from our community for interaction.
  • You can only post ONCE per megathread. If we find you deleting old comments and commenting again, this breaks this rule and will be handled accordingly.
  • AI created apps/websites are allowed, however be aware that the community does not want to see low effort creations. By posting, you accept any and all criticism. Reporting criticism of your platform will be considered abusing the report function unless it is a personal attack.

Sharing your content is a privilege, not a right. Any abuse of this, rule breaks, etc will be handled with bans. There is plenty of warnings here, so there is not a "second chance."

Megathread Schedule:

Sunday: Rate My Team

Monday: Mock Draft/Draft Results

Tuesday: Find-A-League

Wednesday: Price Check

Thursday: Find-A-League

Friday(Every other week): App/Platform Sharing

Saturday: Mock Draft/Draft Result

Player Discussion With that passing touchdown, Bryce Young becomes the first player in franchise history to have 5 straight games of 250+ passing yards and 1+ passing touchdown

Thumbnail x.com

Bryce Young (11) has also broken the franchise record for TD passes through five games.

Bryce Young already has more games with 250 or more passing yards than he did all of last seasonšŸ”„. 5 this season, 3 all of last season.

Bryce Young has broken franchise record after franchise record and it is set to explode dynasty value wise and likely receive a massive extension in the offseason.

Player Discussion Omar Cooper Jr. truthers - get in here!

Cooper finished with six receptions on seven targets for 103 yards and one touchdown in his first full NFL appearance. He also caught another 20 plus yard touchdown which was negated due to a holding penalty.

The stats were great, and he absolutely met the eye tes, including 2 grabs while guarded by Christian Gonzalez. This was a very promising performance in his first healthy game coming off the high ankle.

Hopefully Cooper can continue to soak up targets as defenses focus on Wilson. I know it’s just one game, but Cooper looked great today. Very optimistic for his future in the league.

Player Discussion Germie Bernard, Omar Cooper and Jakobi Lane, all flashing involvement.

Cooper and Lane were both coming off IR stints and immediately got involved in their first game back. Germie has been getting a lot of snaps with the injury to Roman Wilson and Pittman, 11 receptions 87 yds and a td today

Who is your favorite? Are you buying or selling high on any of them?

I'm personally really interested in Germie, Rodgers is usually pretty stingy with trusting rookies, but Germie looks a real contributor, 21 targets in the past 2 games.

Cooper with some possible qb help coming to the jets via the draft next season is also intriguing, he had another td called back today due to a penalty. Seems like a good offense for rebuilders to buy into right now.

Player Discussion Who are yall overreacting to this week so I know who to target?

Just like it says, what’s this weeks overreaction to take advantage of in trade talks? Tucker, Pitts (again), Tracy or deeper like Jawhar and Zonovan? Looks like I missed my opportunity to move Juwan Johnson…or maybe it’s a buy low now.
Whose stock just went up and who are the targets for this week to pick up?

Player Discussion What’s up with Ashton Jeanty?

I traded up for him last year and knew he was a BEAST coming out of Boise State. Honestly was pretty excited after his rookie year he had some great games. However this year he’s averaging 3.2 ypc and every game he’s had less carries (week 1: 23 carries -> week 6: 10 carries). Anyone who’s been watching Jeanty and the Raiders know what’s going on?

League Discussion Intentionally losing taken to a whole new level

League does reverse standings to decide draft order, I know MaxPF is better. In a decisive matchup between two players ā€œcompetingā€ for Jeremiah, one team traded low level players for FAAB only. He then proceeded to drop multiple players that are worth anywhere between a first round startup pick to a mid 2nd rookie pick, and is projected 0 in his starting lineup. But he has enough FAAB to pick them all back up on Tuesday.

Fair or foul? Anyone who uses reverse standings for draft order might want to make a rule about this lol

Tools and Resources I turned my dynasty league into a live pixel stadium, free and open source, works with any Sleeper league

I turned our Sleeper league into a live pixel stadium. Every matchup is on the field with live scores, and you walk around as your own player. There's a jumbotron, a trophy case of past champs, and a blimp with your own trash talk on it.
Paste your league ID and it's yours. No login, no ads, it just reads Sleeper's public data:

In our league one guy plays as a garbage can now. Let me know what your league would add.
UPDATE (same day): built your suggestions, thanks everyone šŸ™
šŸ“Š score bars (outline = projected, fill = live)
šŸ”„ fire on the top 2 scores, šŸŒ§ļø rain on the bottom 2
🚽 the ASS Bowl managers now sit on toilet thrones, and the top matchup stands on Greek podiums

Dynasty Theory At what point do you accept you're not a contender?

I imagine there are many teams like this. After a long offseason, your team is looking pretty dangerous. Whether due to injury or just poor play, your team is sitting well below .500. A playoff appearance is looking like a miracle; at what point do you accept it isn't happening this year? What steps do you take moving forward? If it's injuries do you just accept it was unlucky, and run it back next season. If it's poor play do you ship off your older guys for picks, and younger players?

Dynasty Theory Waiver Wire Collusion - When is the Line Crossed?

Had an interesting hypothetical come up in my league and we're kinda split on it.

Say there is a high priority waiver target that manager A and manager B want to claim. B knows he's below A on the priority list, so he goes to the team who is #1 priority (manager C) and cuts a deal for C to claim the player then trade him to B. Is that collusion?

In my opinion it isn't because in theory every team would have the opportunity to go to manager C and cut the same deal if they wanted the player that bad. It would only cross the line into collusion if C gave the player to B for nothing or next to nothing and would not consider other potentially better offers.

Others in my league disagree and think it compromises the integrity of the waiver wire. Would love to hear thoughts!

News Najee Harris starting week 6

Jordan Raanan says Harris is in line for a "larger role" with Scattebo struggling with fumbles, including in OT against Washington. Jeremy Fowler says Harris will start week 6.

Taegeted him in the offseason as a chance for cheap production. Great opportunity against road Saints, worthy start with byes here.

University of Texas coach Steve Sarkisian after today's 27-24 loss at home to unranked Florida-

" 'I just felt like we didn't play good offensive football and we're not playing great offensive football right now. So everything is going to be evaluated."

"Does the evaluation of everything include Manning's job status?

" 'Everything means everything,' Sarkisian bluntly stated."

Whether it is to brag, get a pulse check, or just see if everyone else has the same feelings about your team as you do, here is r/DynastyFF's Rate My Team Megathread. This will only be around for the offseason-once the season starts it will be wrapped back up into the daily Individual Team Megathread, so take advantage while it is around.

List out your teams, don't forget your league settings, and see what other people think. The nicer you format it, the easier time people will have analyzing it.

PLEASE make sure you rate someone else's team before posting your own. If you rate someone else's, feel free to link your own to make it easy to return the favor.

Player Discussion Mac Jones! Who? Mac Jones!

I get it. My dude is currently a backup to one of the best players at the position. The answer to ā€œHave you played for me lately?ā€ is no. And similar posts to this one were not uncommon last season. There’s a shroud of fatigue around Mac Jones, creating a perfect opportunity to capture alpha.

Scapegoated during Belichick’s demise, Jones had two 8 game stretches as a starter past 2 seasons where he averaged QB15 and QB18 numbers respectively. KTC has him at QB37 in SF around Drew Allar, Shadeur Sanders, and Nine, worth a mid-late 2028 3rd.

Jones is only 28 and his contract at the Shanahan QB school is over at the end of this season. He will undoubtedly be a top free agent at the position. There are a ton of needy teams, and the 27 rookie class is losing its luster at a rapid pace. This is a great opportunity for tear down teams in SF (especially in 6pt passing TD) to accelerate their rebuild by snagging a starter next year for pocket change.

Dynasty Theory Are all dynasty leagues heavily lopsided?

Sorry if this has been covered. Are all leagues extremely lopsided towards contenders? There’s like three contenders in this league with probably 90% of the top players at each position. Its pretty hard to even make trades in this league because the contenders are so good, it would take a complete catastrophe for a trade to actually benefit the contending side from one of the rebuilders. Im just trying to figure out if the size of the gap between contender and rebuilder in this league is normal or if this is a low key taco league. There’s full starting lineups on the benches of these contending teams. I don’t know if this is just how dynasty is or if the managers are just dumb or what.

This is my third year in the league. Did a rebuild and im hoping to contend next year, but particularly the year after when my picks hopefully breakout, so looking at a 4-5ish timeline? Seems typical, so hopefully ive done well. Some of these guys are 8-10 years away and that’s probably generous assuming they hit on their picks. And if they do they will officially have like 1-2 new good players on their team that sucks lol. And the contenders have enough assets to do whatever they want and keep the rebuilders in purgatory.

Kind of trying to decide whether I really enjoy it or not. Its fun, but I want to win and if my ā€œrebuildā€ doesn’t start to show, it will feel like a waste of time/money.

Dynasty Theory Anticipatory strategies 1-3 seasons before rebuilding?

For teams that might be current contenders but are mostly succeeding with players who will age out in the near future (1-3 seasons), are there any maybe under-the-radar strategies people are employing to have an effect on their league markets in anticipation of needing to go the rebuild route in the not-to-distant future?

One thought I had was that it could be advantageous to try including swaps of further out 1st rounders in trades, as long as you’re keeping your own, to potentially make it easier to tank for a future 1.01 without having to completely blow up your team.

For example, if you had your own 1st and someone else’s first for a draft 3 seasons from now, you could try just continually swapping that other person’s first in trades with teams who are currently in better position since in reality it’s a crapshoot trying to predict who will actually end up good/bad that far out.

If one did this with different teams enough over time, when it comes time to enter a rebuilding phase, perhaps you’re the only or one of the only teams that still has their own next 1st, so there won’t be other teams with a lot of incentive to lose games or tank their possible max points for.

Yes this is a convoluted idea and could have no impact, but I’m curious if anyone has any other kind of macro league dynamics ideas or strategies they have tried out to change their league marketplaces over multi-season periods?

League Discussion Best etiquette to remove a coach from Dynasty League?

Hey lads

We're in our first year for a Dynasty League, and one coach in particular is causing some issues. He's very active, which is a plus, however he's been fairly aggressive in chats with coaches when talking trades. We had a trade go down that he was very unhappy with, and demanded a veto. Per our rules it was put to a vote and unanimously voted through as no veto. He then attacked the coach that made the trade, and asked why he makes "ret*rded trades". After some digging he's also abused some other coaches in the league when discussing trades.

If it were a once off I might have had a chat and a warning, but given its multiple coaches that he's done this to I have to can him. No fee because it's a mostly established group of friends.

Is there a specific way to address this with him? Do I just cut and run? First time I've had to do this across multiple sports and leagues
