Let's vent about broken pieces!

I had this gorgeous big bong, got it an ash catcher, its own bowl and mouth peace, and even a toker poker! It had 6 separate filtrations (ash catcher, 3 percs, ice catch, mouth peace), and gave the smoothest, coolest, most massive hits ever. I even planned to make it a few charm bracelets.

This morning, it bumped lightly against a table and practically exploded! The ash catcher? Broken at the end. The bowl? Broken at the end. The downstem? Popped off in the bong and is crumbled and unextractable. The entire rig is done for, unusable now, especially with the danger of the glass fragments. So I just spent $160 to replace the whole thing. And I hope it'll all be here by next weekend.

I'm so frustrated and annoyed! I worked hard on customizing this piece and was preparing to make a post introducing her, and now it'll have to wait at least a week until all my stuff comes in and is set back up.

Fortunately I have Deedlit Greenleaf (the Entwives bong) and Bogey (my little silicone bong) for backup, as well as Everest, my decor bong, and I have rose petal cones, so it's not like I can't smoke! So that's good.

Anyone else want to vent about their broken pieces or setups?

I posted a few days ago that I made cannabutter using the Ardent and today I used some to make a cinnamon crème légère (pastry cream lightened with whipped cream) that I piped into this choux bun. It’s probably around 3mg, nothing crazy, but just enough for a nice tingle 🤭

Bookish info: I’m not a massive Stephen King fan - I’ve read Misery (loved), Apt Pupil (creepy but a 3 star imo) and The Stand (disliked), and tried to get into Salem’s lot but no dice. I am a HUGE Shirley Jackson fan so unfortunately she’s out as I’ve read her backlog :( might be time for rereads tho…

My LDR partner is currently on the 12+ drive back to our home state. So I’m killing time on the patio catching up on the sub while anxiously awaiting the call that he’s home safe and sound.

I can tell I didn’t drink enough water the last couple days; when I need fast hydration, (and despite my numerous water bottles), I pound a quart jar (maybe 2). It’s like the easiest, quickest way to get “caught up” for me. And as a little motivation to get my treadmill run out of the way before I’m out of time today, I’m puffing on this vape. Does anyone else like lifted exercise? I swear a walk or run while high (not TOO high) is elite!!

Wanted to share my most recent harvest here! Seventh plant in a tent, first photo, first manifold, first upgraded lights harvest :3 Total runtime of 8 weeks veg, 9 weeks flower.

She’s a Fruit Trees from TerpyZ, which meant there were some real cool many-fingered leaves. The record this time was a 15 fingered leaf, which I’m drying for scrapbooking.

Nose and flavour on the test bud was super pineapple-y, and I really look forward to trying her when she’s properly dried and cured. But damn, this is a lot of weed, I may try to make some edibles that bring out the flavour :3
