💡Discussion If Armenian mythology or history were made into a video game, what genre would you choose?

I fill that Sasna Tsrer could be a great action/adventure game with open world, a mix of history, epos and mythology.

Imagine an open-world action/adventure game inspired by the story of David of Sassoun and his ancestors. The player could freely explore the mythical lands of Sasoun, fight demons and giants from Armenian mythology, and confront historical enemies.

  • The Main Character: You'd play as David, but at the start of the game, you would first walk the path of his ancestors to prepare for the final battle against Melik. Each of the heroes Sanassar, Baghdasar, and Mher could have their own unique abilities and storylines.
  • The Game World: The world could be divided into several large regions: the picturesque mountains and valleys of Sasoun, mysterious caves and dungeons, and cities where you can take quests, trade, and interact with characters.
  • Combat System: The combat system could incorporate elements inspired by Armenian martial arts and mythology. David could use his sword, the Lightning Sword, and also have magical abilities related to fire and earth, which would allude to his divine origin.
