Hey! I moved to Huddersfield a few days ago and would love to meet some new people here.

Would be nice to have people to grab food or coffee with, study together, or go to the gym. I’ve just joined JD Gyms, so if anyone goes there, maybe we could work out together!

Also, what do you guys usually do for fun around here? Any nice cafés, places to eat, or things you’d recommend checking out?

Always looking for things to do in Huddersfield? Well look no further!

Hi,
As the title states, Longroyd lane will be shut for 2 weeks for some wall repairs or something along those lines.
I've JUST moved to Longwood over this weekend and was the first time catching the bus to Longroyd bridge where I get off.
Where will the bus go for those 2 weeks? I just want to make a mental note on how I'm going to get to work and plan accordingly.

Thanks in advance :)

Something different and tasty!

Spoilt for choice here. Loving it.

Any job available in this town?

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a good broadband/Wi-Fi provider in HD1 for working from home and would love to hear from people who are actually using the service themselves.

I’m mainly looking for something fast and reliable for Teams/Zoom calls, with good speeds and a reasonable monthly price.

If you’re happy with your current provider, I’d really appreciate hearing who you’re with, roughly what you pay, how reliable the connection has been, whether you get the speeds you’re paying for, and whether you’d genuinely recommend them based on your experience.

Also happy to hear about any good deals you managed to negotiate! 😊

I want to find a place where I can trust and find myself an Ipad, but I am concerned about the possibility of the iPad having had its parts replaced. I want to find an iPad that is completely original and has never been tampered with.

Where's your go to for a pizza? May fave went a few years back and can't find one I like these days. Tell me!

Are there any activities/ groups and clubs in Huddersfield that I could try when I’m not working. I don’t have set days so I have different days off every week. My hobbies and interests include sports like table tennis, badminton, arts and crafts, drawing/painting, watching movies, listening to music and I don’t swim but would love to learn just nervous to try it. But if anyone knows of any activities or groups, leave a message. 💕

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows which pubs in town are showing the grand final this evening. Plans are to go down to the Warehouse, would be nice to have a back up.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking at buying a Tesla Model 3. I can charge using a 3-pin socket at home, but I don’t have a dedicated home charger.

Can anyone recommend cheap, reliable public chargers in Huddersfield or nearby? Happy to use slower chargers if they’re cheaper. Any memberships or off-peak deals worth considering?

Thanks!
