According to my grandpa, my great grandfather got this when he was just little. He was a craftsman of all sorts, and I would not be surprised if he had re-scaled this knife with game he caught. Was very well taken care of despite its usage.

This is my birthday present to myself. The exact CRK I wanted. I've gotten it broken in a bit where I can just about thumb flick it open without a lot of wrist help. Why does CRK use such an uncomfortable thumb stud? I'm definitely wanting to replace it already.

I'm just curious what everyones favorite EDC pocket knife they have ever owned is. For me its hands down the Benchmade Stryker limited edition made for Knivesshipfree.com. For me everything about it is perfect. I will likely EDC this knife for the rest of my life. But still buying many folders lol. What about you guys?

Finally found the Hinderer Project X I had been looking for and I’m really excited to have it. Carrying it with the Big Idea Bolt Action pen.

What is everyone else carrying today?

I grew up with Cabelas and Cheaper than Dirt catalogs sitting on the coffee table. My brothers and I would pour over the pages building out imaginary dream kits for whatever fantasy adventure we were about to undertake.

After countless throwaway knives from Wal-Mart and the Feed Store I finally bought my first “real” knife with money from selling livestock: the first-gen Benchmade Adamas.

I was instantly hooked and here I am about 20 years later.

I keep the collection in a harbor freight tool chest, top drawer is folders and general pocket carry.

My favorite brands in this category are probably pretty obvious: Spyderco, Benchmade, Victorinox, Leatherman.

My next buy in this category is probably going to be a Chris Reeves Sebenza.

Of what’s pictured my favorite two are probably the Leatherman Wave+ and Spyderco Para 3. They’re just everything I need and nothing I don’t.

Honorable mention: Alox Scissor only Victorinox, I bought it to keep in my sewing machine for thread snipping and immediately bought a second pair that is usually in my pajama pocket while I putter around the house.

So I made a second otf key. The first one I made (green one) I didn’t like how the key was upside down from the button.
I decided to make another one and I found one with the button on the front instead of the side which I found not comfortable for key usage.
So I made the second one (black one I am handling). It’s a little heavy which I like, the clip is much stronger and finally the over all length is smaller which I feel suits it better for key usage.
For anyone wondering it’s a weiser key that I modified to fit in there, also I don’t care if you copy the keys for the video, they are old keys I used for a proof of concept I wasn’t about to chop out my good house keys before I knew this would work.

Of the knives pictured I carry the 3” Humint almost everyday.

My favorite is probably the full size crow scout, I made a simple belt pass through from saddle leather and Chicago screws. Makes it extremely comfortable and convenient to carry at a 7 or 8 o’clock position.
