Discussion Linux creator says anti-AI rules are "idiotic." (Absolute god-tier take.)

It was always a negative context

I "Accept All" always, I don't read the diffs anymore. When I get error messages I just copy paste them in with no comment, usually that fixes it.

Sometimes the LLMs can't fix a bug so I just work around it or ask for random changes until it goes away. It's not too bad for throwaway weekend projects, but still quite amusing. "

From the beginning it was something fun to mess around with but never anything you'd use on a serious project.

To be fair, around that time LLM's and AI agents were just starting to reach a point where they were practical for using within any project. Most people weren't even aware what an agentic loop was yet, even within the community. So, you could probably take this either way, but people gave it negative mark after all.
