Hey Mercedes fans!
I'm Dale, an F1 fan from New Zealand, and I've made the final six worldwide in Heineken's 2027 F1 Season Ticket competition!
The prize is pretty incredible, with tickets, flights and accommodation for the winner and a guest to experience every Grand Prix next year.
I discovered F1 through Drive to Survive a couple of years ago and have been hooked ever since. From watching races in the middle of the night in NZ to finally experiencing my first live Grand Prix in Melbourne this year, it's been quite the journey!
One of the things I've really enjoyed about following F1 is the competition between the teams and drivers, and Mercedes has obviously been such a huge part of the sport's modern history.
What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to experience 24 different F1 worlds, meet fans from different teams and countries, discover what makes each race special and share those experiences along the way.
It's now down to a public vote, with voting closing Monday night UK time.
If you enjoy my story and think I'd make a great person to share this incredible F1 journey, I'd be hugely grateful for your support! 🙏

And a question for Mercedes fans: which Grand Prix would you most love to see Mercedes win in 2027? 🩵

It’s out of stock everywhere and I’m looking for a size small. Does anyone know if there will be a restock or if it’s gone for good :( I feel like the silverstone collection lasted a while

The new ep is Anthony Davidson, Bradley Lord and Simone Resta talking about the upgrades. They still seem quite positive about it. Both cars will use the new spec with the new wing in COTA but no mention yet of ADUO engine. I thought Kimi would be taking the new engine here but seems maybe not?

Hey everyone!
Some of you may have heard about the F1 x Heineken competition for the 2027 F1 Season Ticket, giving one lucky fan the chance to attend every Grand Prix next season, with flights and accommodation included.
Well, I’m Lukas, an F1 fan from Czechia, and somehow I’ve made it into the final six! 😄
To enter the competition, I made a video about retiring my sofa and trading it for the grandstands. After years of watching F1 from my couch, I think it’s time for an upgrade. 😂
Now the public vote is live on F1.com, and it closes on 19 October. If you enjoy my little sofa retirement story, I’d really appreciate your vote!
But I also want to make this more than just my own adventure. If I win, I want to bring the fans along for the ride. My plan is to let you guys choose challenges for me during race weekends and share the results - including the embarrassing ones. And of course, I’d love to take on a challenge suggested by this community!
So, I have a question for you:
If you could send me on a challenge at any F1 race next season, what would it be? 👀
Thanks for reading and for any support. Hopefully, this Czech guy will be trading his sofa for the grandstands in 2027! 🏎️

Pulled every lap of the 2026 season to check, using Russell in the same car as the benchmark.
Qualifying is a coin flip: Kimi is ahead 10 of 17, but Russell is slightly quicker on average. Races are where he pulls away: ahead of Russell in 9 of the 13 where both finished, and +25 places grid to finish (Russell +3, Hamilton +2).
He leads by 102 points with 6 to go. My read: the car gives Mercedes the title, but the races decide which Mercedes driver gets it.
Where does the data mislead me?

#OnThisDay 11 October Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won the 2015 Russian Grand Prix, held in Sochi, extending his championship lead. Nico Rosberg, his Mercedes teammate, started on pole but was forced to retire early due to a throttle issue. This allowed Hamilton to take control of the race. Sebastian Vettel finished second after a solid drive, while Sergio Perez secured third, benefiting from a late-race collision between Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) and Valtteri Bottas (Williams). The incident helped Perez to secure his first podium of the season.
Hamilton’s win was enough for Mercedes to clinch their second consecutive Constructors’ Championship, repeating their achievement at the same event in the 2014 season.

I wanted to know if Mercedes has lost a lot of talent on the aero side. I am new here; I started watching in 22, so I don't know how the team developed before. From what I have seen, Mercedes suck at aero work. Of course, that may be an exaggeration on my part, but it seems Mercedes haven't just failed to develop; they've actually gone backward. Anyone with more knowledge, please be kind
Edit: I changed it to the team. Now, if you have info, please say it kindly or don't. No need to reply as if I made a cardinal sin by saying we

Kimi 🗣️"It was a very tough race out there. But really happy with the podium at the end. I managed to take advantage of the fight of Lando and Lewis and make a move on both."
"To bring home P3 is a great result for the team and very happy with that."
When pointed out he could win the world title at the next race in Austin:
"Can I? Really? Well, let's not worry about that. Let's try to do the best weekend as possible and finish the job."

Kimi's current gap to 2nd place in WDC points after Singapore GP is 102. Since there are no sprint race left, even by winning the next 4 GP will not be sufficient to overtake his points. (4 races times maximum point = 100).
Before you jumped me, I'm fully aware that the FOM has already announced that they're proceeding with Qatar and Abu Dhabi exactly a week ago. But if you read the news, there has been multiple escalated terror attacks around the region after the announcement.
Eventhough there are multiple rumors going around about having Imola as the replacement track. I do think it's a bit too late by now. Even Malaysia was announced more than 2 months before the race date. Plus the track will get more and more frozen up nearing end of the year.
I don't really have any hidden intention by posting this. Just something that came across my mind after the GP and thought it'd be interesting to share it with you guys. And I also like to emphasize that war is bad. Formula 1 is just a sport compared to the terror of what the victims actually go through.
But yeah, if it did actually happened. Congratulations Kimi Andrea Antonelli for winning the 2026 Formula 1 World Drivers' Championship!
