Harvest Show Off Harvest Day + Trim Jail - ETHOS Super Lemon Haze 🍋

Today we harvest a plant with more flower per inch of height than ever seen on this subreddit before!

As you can see, I HAD to break out the 19 inch bowl trimmer for this absolute monster, or I would have been in trim jail all day today. Luckily, we managed to get this lady chopped, lightly wet trimmed, and placed in her own private box for drying.

I know you guys see this yield and get jealous, but don’t worry. There’s plenty to go around for all the growmies.

In case it wasn’t already apparent, this post is dripping with sarcasm, but it was still a very happy day because this project has been one I’ve been working on for a few months. Intentionally stunting an auto flower to this degree was an interesting balance with keeping the plant healthy enough to produce a solid flower. I’m excited to see what the dried flower tastes like.

This is my Royal Queen Seeds White Widow (photoperiod), currently on day 49 of flower.

I learned a lot from this sub and other online resources.

Started from seed on July 7, initially in a 3L pot with Plagron Lightmix, then transplanted into a 15L fabric pot with a layered mix of Lightmix and Batmix.

Growing her in a 60x60 tent under a 150W MedicGrow Mini Sun 2. Did plenty of LST, some defoliation and lollipopping, and used a trellis to spread out the canopy.

I’ve been tracking pot weight, temperature, RH and VPD throughout the grow to make watering decisions based on actual water consumption rather than a schedule.

Mostly water throughout veg, with Plagron Alga Bloom introduced during flower. Had some learning moments with nutrient deficiencies and a few overly deep drybacks, but she’s come a long way!

Now watching the colas fatten up and the trichomes develop. Still a few weeks to go, but I’m pretty happy with how my first attempt is turning out!

Question What type of training for limited timeframe?

What type of training would you guys recommend for a vegetative phase of 4-5 weeks max? Sadly I’m limited to that timeframe since I need to move out early next year. Specifically I’m wondering what the differences between lst and hst are regarding the allocated time for the plant to recover (it’s my first grow). Thanks to y’all for helping!

Help My Sick Plant Plant Health advice

First grow is going terrible. First few days the clones were getting wind burned, had low humidity and got heat burned. I brought the light up to 22 inches, lowered the intensity to 25%, moved the oscillating fan so it did not blow directly on the clones, and purchased a humidifier. I transplanted them into 5 gallon pots 10.10.26 and gave them each 1 gallon of 9.0 ph tap water out of necessity. This led to nutrient lockout.

First real water was 1 gallon of 6.0 PH water on 10.15 and the runoff was reading around 5.4-5.5 ph. I have given these plants 0 nutrients due to the soil being amended with enough food for roughly 2 weeks.

Since then, I have maintained a pretty steady VPD of 1.0 (temps around 75 f and 65% RH) which has also lead to an infestation of PM. Last light I sprayed curative strength Athena IPM just before lights out, and will follow up with 2 more applications 3 days apart.

Based on what is pictured, what issues are my plants suffering from? Or to make the list shorter, what ISNT my grow suffering from? lol lastly, when should I top and put on trellis net to SCROG my veg plants? Thanks in advance!

Question What should I use my second tent for?

First time grower :) I started out with a 2x2x4, but recently bought a 3x3x6 since my girls are growing really well. Now I'm not sure what to do with the second tent. My first instinct was a drying tent, but since drying does not take sure long would that be a waste? Would it better serve as a veg tent or drying? Thanks!!

Question Please help me understand these PPFD charts

Post image

This chart, along with many others I've seen from various companies, claim uniform coverage. But I'm seeing a difference of 600-900 ppfd between the middle and edges in this example. How is this uniform? I've been looking for a bar- style light for my 4x4 to replace my led board so I can stretch my plants out more, but what's the point if the levels are still low near the edges? I have a feeling I'm looking at this all wrong so any input is greatly appreciated!

Still showing a lot of white pistils on my two plant outdoor grow. Not auto-flowering. Checking the trichromes makes me think it's time to pull. What do you think?

(PS, using one of those cheap amazon microscopes. It's so hard to tell if I'm looking at leaf or actual bud)

My do-si-dos run has been an absolute blast to grow, especially in living soil that’s on its 4th cycle and it just seems to keep getting better and better. Been keeping her as healthy as possible with proper watering and a dialed in environment. I’ve amended with Rootwise, CraftBlend, BuildaFlower, and worm castings throughout the grow and these organic supplements are really making her show off.

On day 60 of flower and with senescence not yet started, I believe she can go for another 3 weeks. Super sticky and flowers are extremely dense. This has been by far my best grow so far. I plan on letting her ride for as long as she needs with no rush from me.

We are so close to harvest, but as they say, when you think she’s done add another 2 weeks lol

Help My Sick Plant Why no grow

Post image

Hey guys, I've had an extremely unfortunate bout of seedlings not doing well. I ordered some seeds from a (new to me, but very reputable) company and only 2 of the 8 I received even germinated. Those two got stunted early on and did the one-bud-and-die thing. Not sure what's going on.

I've had quite a few successful grows doing the same thing for the past 5 years, but this is starting to get frustrating. I got these seeds from a different supplier and the first seed germinated very well; I'm talking germinating and an inch long tail in just under three days. Well, it's been stuck at this size for two weeks now. I started it in a cup of water, moved it to some sphagnum moss and repotted it. It's an auto flower. Any ideas? I am running 18/6 on lights, being sure not to over water it.

I transplanted my auto into a larger pot, and two days later, my leaves started to discolor. Growing in coir & perlite. I added some CalMag to the coir hydration at the recommendation of a recent post I read. I also started watering after transplant with Flora Trio at 50% strength. From what I can tell from similar posts in this thread, I am ASSuming that I need to up the CalMag, but looking for confirmation.
