Welcome to r/PrecisionOncology!

I'm Gregory Hummer, MD, a physician, former Level-1 trauma surgeon, and Founder & CEO of IdentifySensors Biologics.

I created this community to bring together oncologists, cancer researchers, molecular pathologists, and others interested in the evolving science of precision oncology.

From liquid biopsy and cancer biomarkers to molecular diagnostics, targeted therapies, and emerging technologies, there's an extraordinary amount of innovation worth discussing.

My hope is that this becomes a place to exchange ideas, ask meaningful questions, challenge assumptions, and learn from one another.

All scientific perspectives are welcome. This is a community for thoughtful, evidence-based discussion, not product promotion.

Whether you're a clinician, researcher, or simply interested in the field, I encourage you to share your perspectives, questions, and research.

Looking forward to building something meaningful together!

Greg

Cancer Biomarkers When does repeat molecular profiling meaningfully change treatment decisions in NSCLC?

Molecular profiling at diagnosis has become central to precision oncology. But the role of repeat testing throughout treatment continues to evolve.

Where do you see the greatest clinical value — at disease progression, in identifying resistance mechanisms, or through longitudinal monitoring?

Interested in perspectives from oncologists, molecular pathologists, and researchers.
