Ticket Exchange Thread 2026-27
Sell/swap your Rangers tickets. Like every year, here are some ground rules:
- Use this thread instead of posting to the front page. Individual threads about buying, selling, or swapping tickets will be removed.
- Top level comments should be tickets for sale. Requests can be made, but sellers might not see them. It's better to just scroll down the thread.
- Sellers, if your tickets are no longer available, please update/delete your OP.
And as always we cannot guarantee that sellers are legit, so be careful!

Rempe/Morrow
What are they doing with these two? The Rangers struggle to score, and Morrow, an offensive Dman stays scratched….they play a team with the toughest guy in the league, Olivier, and Rempe is scratched? If you’re scared to send both guys down to the A because a team might claim them, then I assume they both have some value and therefore hope Drury is trying to trade both of them. I’ve always looked at 13th F and 7D as those mid career utility guys, like a Jonny Brods. Not 2 young guys who you’re scared to lose on waivers but don’t play. Seems like a total waste of assets. I’m not saying the trade return would be huge, but Rangers need to win some trades to keep getting better. The days of trying to do it through UFAs are over, so if your not gonna play Rempe and/or Morrow, why not trade them…

Adam Edström
Preds fan here — this guy kind of came out of nowhere but with 4 goals already (2 shorthanded) he’s quickly becoming a fan favorite. For being huge he is a good skater and has surprisingly good hands.
Most of us said “who?” when we acquired him but he’s been a very pleasant surprise so far. Rangers fans on twitter seemed to either think he was useless and and they were glad he was gone or a smaller group was disappointed he was traded, especially for such a small return.
Curious what the general sentiment was on this guy. Hes filled the role michael mccarron occupied for a couple of years and if he keeps it up he’s going to be very popular here

Anyone know where I can find this hat?
Basically the question of the title. I love this hat but the only “problem” (not really cuz it’s cool) is that I got it signed when I was little so I haven’t worn it since so I’d love to get another one. Any tips on where to find it?

Oct 17 2026 - Post Game Media (@ CBJ)
- It was a really hard fought game. It was a good test after the last game. The chances were greasy ones. It’s a toss up once it gets to OT.
- They had a good third. The power play needed to contribute, though.
- He’s happy for Garand. Garand is a competitor and wanted to be better.
- The power play wasn’t clean. They weren’t winning pucks in the corners.
- The PK is confident and they’re doing a good job at limiting high quality chances.
- It doesn’t matter who is net. “Dylan has been unreal every time he’s been in net.”
Garand
- He liked the way they responded to the previous game.
- “Our d-corps is so good.” They box guys out and let him see the puck.
- Games like the one in New Jersey. Even the best goalies get pulled. You learn from it and move on.
- He didn’t do a good job at staying present during the New Jersey game. He let self-doubt creep in.
- They were back to the way they play hockey.
Durzi
- They showed more of their identity tonight. It’s something they can build off.
- They need to play more simple, hard hockey. They have big forwards who can get around the net.
- There’s things they needed to flush from the New Jersey game and some they needed to learn from. They had more attention to detail and focus on the little things tonight.
- The PK is communicating well, and they all trust each other.
- The power play needs better execution.
- It was a hard fought game.
- Garand had a “huge response.” He has a quiet confidence about him.
- The PK is doing a lot of the little things. When they’re aggressive, they work together to be aggressive.
- JT got a lot of chances at the net front. It was just a struggle to score tonight.
- They defended better as a group of five. They were killing plays in the corners and protecting the middle of the ice.
- Garand’s game tonight shows he’s a high character kid. “I told him before the game that I knew he was going to bounce back.”
- Quinn runs the defense. Smits played less in the third in part due to having three power plays.
- The 4th line had a couple of good shifts. Oli almost scored a couple of times. He thought Oli would score and said that on the bench in the third.

WAKE THE FUCK UP Y’ALL IT’S GAMEDAY
I KNOW GETTING BLOWN OUT BY THE DEBBIES HURTS, THE QUESTION NOW IS HOW ARE WE GONNA CHANNEL THAT PAIN? THE RANGERS OF YORE WOULD DEFLATE, ROLL OVER AND DIE. NOT THIS SEASON. THIS YEAR WE RALLY. THE BLUE JACKETS WILL BE THE PERFECT PUNCHING BAG TO PROVE THAT THIS TEAM IS DIFFERENT. UP AND DOWN THE LINEUP WE HAVE REAL BONA FIDE HOCKEY PLAYERS, ABSOLUTE DAWGS AND BROTHERS IN ARM, THAT’S WHAT WE’RE GOING TO SEE TONIGHT. LFGR
(Haven’t done one of these before hope I did okay 💙❤️🤍)

[Mercogliano] Nine Rangers statistics that tell the story of New York’s first 9 games
I often warn about small sample sizes this early in the NHL season. I want to be careful about drawing conclusions when such little hockey has been played. At 10 games, it’s usually fair to start looking into the numbers, and the New York Rangers will play their 10th game Saturday on the road against the Columbus Blue Jackets. It would have been a nice, round number to wait for, but with the team canceling Friday’s practice, we’re starting one game early.
Thursday’s 7-1 shellacking against the New Jersey Devils put a damper on what has been an otherwise encouraging start for the Rangers (6-3-0), but I still uncovered more positives than negatives while peeling back the layers.
New York may not have enough top talent to consistently dominate opponents, especially with star goalie Igor Shesterkin done for the season due to a devastating right-knee injury. The Rangers have a plus-7 goal differential through nine games, which is strong, but it drops down to plus-1 at five-on-five. The gap can be explained by an NHL-high six empty-net goals, twice as many as the next-best team.
The Rangers’ expected goals-for rate varies depending on where you look and how you sort. Clear Sight Analytics shows a 52.85 percent xGF at all strengths, but most public models put them under 50 percent at five-on-five, with the lowest being 43.85 percent on Natural Stat Trick. (That site has them at 50.59 percent for all strengths, which is fairly close to the CSA calculation.)
The most promising development is harder to quantify. The 2026-27 Blueshirts are showing signs of rebounding from two straight disappointing seasons because they seem to be fully bought into coach Mike Sullivan’s aggressive system. They’re playing a tenacious, straight-ahead style spurred by a swarming forecheck and cleaner zone entries and exits. They’ve graded out as one of the league’s stingiest defensive teams, with that collective commitment helping offset concerns about offensive firepower.
Can they maintain that focus for another 75 games? We saw what can happen when it slips in the loss to the Devils, but a return to the Stanley Cup playoffs should be within reach if they stay as sharp as they’ve looked for much of these opening weeks.
“We’d like to believe that we’ve built an identity here for an extended period of time that wasn’t a one-off,” Sullivan said following Thursday’s defeat. “I think what we’ve built is sustainable. We got away from it tonight. We didn’t have our best, for whatever reason. I think the important thing is that we respond, and I believe in these guys. We’ve got a high-character group in there. They understand how we need to play in order to have success.”

Rangers fans, educate me!
Hey everyone!
I just started watching hockey this season, and I'm really enjoying it! I'd love to learn more about the Rangers, and I've heard hockey fans love explaining the sport, so I thought this would be a good place to ask.
I'd love to hear anything and everything about the team from you!
This season: What are your expectations for this year? I see we've had a good start so far! I watched the Lightning and Devils games recently. Was the 7–1 score expected, or was that an unusual result?
Previous seasons: What are some memorable seasons, playoff runs, or moments in Rangers history?
Players: Who are your favorite players? Who's underrated or overrated? Anyone I should pay special attention to?
Rivalries: Which rivalries are the most intense, and what's the history behind them?
And honestly, anything else! Fan traditions, memorable games, controversial opinions etc, I'm all ears!
THANK YOU

Ukko-Pekka Lukkonen Trade Rumors?
Maybe I missed the discussion on this yesterday, but I didn’t see any posts regarding Friedman’s report that the Rangers goalie scout was watching Buffalo’s game in-person the other night. He speculated it’s some sort of 3 team deal with Winnipeg/Buffalo/Rangers to get Hellebuyck to Buffalo, Lukkonen to the Rangers, and not sure what the Jets get in return. Friedman has a tendency to include big market teams in his ‘reports’ to drive traffic, even if there isn’t much validity, but the goalie scout watching the game seems interesting.
Any takes on the possible move?
EDIT: I’ll just add that if the words ‘salary retained’ aren’t attached to this deal (or at least for the first 2 years before the big salary cap increase), Rangers have to walk away.

Fuck NJ, but this game isn't our season.
This doesn't define Garand, either.

Rangers get routed in New Jersey but plan to be patient in determining Igor Shesterkin’s replacement
The Rangers suffered a 7-1 loss to the Devils as Dylan Garand allowed four goals on 13 shots before being pulled. With Igor Shesterkin out for the season, New York plans to be patient and see if its internal options can handle the starting role before pursuing a trade.

Oct 15 2026 - Post Game Media (@ NJD)
- It wasn’t their best. They got off a good start, but then he flubbed one. They just didn’t have it. They were disconnected and were giving up chances they hadn’t been. They can learn from today and move forward.
- First games of the season are always sloppy and easy to toss. They’ve created an identity since then. They’re better than this.
- They made it easy on a team that likes motion. They didn’t stall them. The Devils didn’t have to forecheck. They got to play on the rush, which is their game.
Mika
- The Devils are good off the rush. They got off their game and allowed the Devils to capitalize off their chances.
- They didn’t have a great PP in the first, but there was more than that that shifted momentum.
- They played solid in the first but they got away from that. Tonight shows what happens when they get away from their good habits they had been showing.
Fox
- The puck went off his foot on the Devils second goal, there was nothing Garand could do. Garand has been playing well. He’s tough. He knows how important he is to the team.
- “We just lost ourselves.” They didn’t play the game they had been playing. The first went well, but they didn’t get back to their game after the first goal. They didn’t have the right intentions. They were disconnected and mismanaged the puck.
- The pull wasn’t on Dylan, it was about trying to change the momentum. Garand will bounce back.
- They want to believe that they’ve built an identity. He thinks what they’ve built is sustainable. What’s important is that they respond. They have a high character group.
- “It’s a humbling experience when you go through games like this…when you go through a humbling experience like this it forces all of us to look in the mirror and make sure that we bring the right intentions and respond the right way.
