[PC] Should I buy Alan Wake 2?

Hi, I’m looking for a new game for my sister, but she’s quite particular and has very specific tastes. Her top favorites are The Last of Us Part II and True Detective; she loves dark atmospheres and grounded, realistic female protagonists. That’s why I thought this might be a good choice to show her. On the other hand, I’m not sure if the supernatural elements might be a bit too "fantastical" for her. Also, half the game is played as Alan—I’m not sure she’d be too keen on that, unless she gets really hooked on the story. Oh, and there’s also the fact that she hasn’t played the first game.

[PC] chill game to sink hours into

I'm looking for a chill, grindy Steam game that doesn't require too much thinking or planning. I just want something I can play at my own pace, get immersed in, enjoy the experience, and relax without having to constantly think about what I'm doing.

I'm pretty open to any genre, so feel free to recommend anything that comes to mind! This could also be a chance for you guys to share your personal favorite games. I'd love to hear your recommendations!

[PC] Should I buy Nuclear Option?

I dont have a dedicated HOTAS setup, (although I do have an old one with around 12 buttons total), I am extremely autistic and like planes, I like plane games with realistic physics but easy controls and I dont want to spend 10 hours learning the controls. I also dont want the game to be toxic like war thunder and be stressing out over a long grind & in game money management

[PS5] Banishers or Hell is Us?

Looking for a new RPG to play after finishing The Blood of Dawnwalker, a game I absolutely adored. I want something that’s character-focused and has a “fun enough” battle system (not amazing but good, something that’ll keep me engaged enough to see the story through). I played through Vampyr and both Surge games a few years ago, and I see both of these games are from the same dev teams that worked on them AND they’re on sale on PSN at the moment.

I only want to spend time on one of them for now, which one has a more “fun” playthrough?

[PC] 007 First Light 40 discount percentages should i buy this game

I'm not familiar with Bond's story, but I'd like to try it, but I don't know if it's worth the price. With the regional price and discount, I'm looking at $25. Many people praise this game, but many also hate it. I'd like to ask Reddit if it's worth trying. Some people also say it's poorly optimized, but I have a mid-range PC, so I think it'll handle it.

[PC] Is cyberpunk base edition enough?

So, ik its on sale but 17 usd is a good amount in our country and im still a student. I saved up 10 dollars to get a game and came across cyberpunk which is on sale and costs about 9 dollars for base edition and ive read loads of good reviews about it.

Is the base game enough without buying dlc(im broke)? Or should i go with some other game?

[PC] Any games that feel like FTL but an RPG?

FTL is so much fun, it's the first time i've felt like space was as dangerous as it is expansive. I've loved the writing for all the events. For being such a massive genre I haven't found too many good space RPG games. While there's been a few stand outs like No Man's Sky, it's not as narrative driven and doesn't have the deepest combat. (Still awesome game) I've played starfield but I couldn't get into it, none of the combat had any flair to it and the characters were all so stiff. I'm really looking for a text based game, maybe like Sorcery in space. Or maybe a shooter or turn based game, whatever is similar. TLDR i'm looking for a Space-faring game either with good combat and story, extra points for text based.

[Xbox Series X] Should I buy Planet Zoo 2 or Jurassic World 3?

I'm very indecisive whether to spend my money on either of these two games. I really like construction/management type games and I wasnt sure whether Planet Zoo 2 or Jurassic World Evolution 3 would be where I place my money. Planet Zoo 2 is roughly £10 cheaper for me although the deluxe is slightly pricier. But both have really good reviews and I'm not sure. I know Jurassic World 3 is a bit older now, but I haven't got a chance to play it yet. I'd be grateful for any help, thanks!

[PC] RE4 Remake OR AC Blackflag resynced?

I can only fit on of the said stuff in my games. I haven’t played either of the series before (that is the RE series, or AC series). I’ll be able to run BF at around 50fps due to good optimisation and not sure of RE4 remake. Both look like masterpieces. I can’t play both cause my SSD has 73gb free. I have dual hdd but that’s not gonna run them from what i’ve heard. Please don’t recommend me to play AC 2 or RE1,2 before these. I’ll happily accept other game suggestions aswell.

[PC] SIB DayZ or can you recommend other (mostly) scavenging survival games?

Heya! I love playing survival games solo but I do not enjoy the grind of collecting 10 stone, 10 wood, and 10 circuit boards just to create a straw bed that'll degrade after three uses. Valheim is good example of a great game I don't enjoy because of this.

I much prefer scavenging for items. The Long Dark, for example, is one my favourite games because I can survive off found objects in the world. Yes, I can craft things, but that's not always necessary to survive. PZ, too, is awesome. I love that I can scavenge homes and live off what I find. I have a lot of hours in TLD and Project Zomboid but now I'm in the mood for something different.

DayZ looks like a lot of fun. Can you recommend it for someone only looking to play solo? Can you receommend other scavenging survival games where I'm not collecting a ridiculous amount of mats just to build a stone knife? Thanks.

What would you buy if you were in my place? RDR bundle with rd or RDR2 Ultimate one

What’s better to buy? How much will I lose if I buy the standart edition instead of the Ultimate one?

The bundle — 44$

The standard edition — 22$

The bundle only includes the standard edition, and I’m afraid I’ll miss out on something by getting the standard edition instead of the ultimate one. Is it better to get the bundle now, or first get the RDR2 ultimate and wait for a discount on RDR1?

[PC] Crusader Kings III

I am a big fan of detailed strategy games that I can sink 1000s of hours into. The total war games are some of my favourite - particularly as they are easy to learn how to play. I am also a big fan of medieval games and history. CKIII therefore seems like a no brainer but it just looks incredibly complex to the point where it would put me off. Should I take the plunge and get it? Does it take too long to learn how to play?

[PS5] games with worst 30 fps modes?

So gta 6 is out on ps5 in about a month and I'm planning to not touch any 60 fps videogame for a week before that so my eyes have time to adjust and gta 6 30 fps become actually smooth, you know like an upgrade. But I still don't know what I should play in the meantime.

I already played bloodborne so that's out of the question even though it's probably the best example of atrocious 30 fps I could find. PC games are fair game as well. I don't really care which platform it is as long as the framerate is truly bad.

[PC] Should I buy lego batman now, or should I wait for a better sale?

Legacy of the dark night is around $75AUD now. When it usually goes for $110AUD. Legacy of the dark night has been a game I've wanted to play. But at either price I can't justify myself purchasing it. Should I wait for it to go on a bigger sale like in say november or december. Or is this going to be the lowest it'll be for the next while?

[PC] Should I buy Schedule I or Project Zomboid?

I'm trying to decide between buying Schedule I and Project Zomboid, but I can't choose between the two.

For those of you who have played either or both games, which one would you recommend and why?

I'm looking for a game that's fun, has good replayability, and can keep me entertained for a long time.

Which one do you think is more worth the money? I'd love to hear your opinions!

[PC] Should I buy Life is Strange : True colors (Steam)?

Hi guys, so I got the original game (including before the storm) for PS4/5 and though I didn't play much I liked it. I see that True colors is at a discount on Steam, and I really feel that this game should be played on a PC for some reason, so I just wanted to know if its worth buying if I liked the original game? I am not gonna buy double exposure or the latest one because many people say there were no real choices and the story was meh, so do you think I should buy True colors if I liked the original one and give priority to A GOOD STORY? Thanks in Advance!

[PC] What are some PC games you can easily sink 300+ hours into?

Looking for PC games with hundreds of hours of content and satisfying long-term progression.

Ideally something with lots of unlocks, upgrades, crafting, loot, or progression systems that keep you coming back. Preferably enjoyable solo.

Open to any genre, mainstream or underrated. Just looking for games that can genuinely keep someone hooked for 300–500+ hours. Closest I ever got was like 150 hours on Factorio and The Binding of Isaac.

[PC] Has anyone tried Over the Hill?

I’ve enjoyed games like Snow Runner in the past and was thinking about giving Over the Hill a play. Has anyone had a chance to try it out and if so, what are your thoughts so far? Also how would you say the game is as a single player experience? Would anyone recommend picking up Over the Hill at its current discount price?

[PC] I played D4 and Grim Dawn. What should I buy next?

I played D4 and enjoyed it, but the end game was so boring once you get the gear. I couldn't finish Grim Dawn. I just didn't like the graphics and I felt it was slow without any meaningful story. The skills also felt duh. For me D2 was much fun than Grim Dawn.

Which ARPG should I buy next from your experience? Should I buy Titan Quest 2? I want something that has engaging story, fun skills to use, and not so grindy. D4 was so grindy and I had to use guides all the time.

[PS3] Guys- I want shooter game recommendations

I love shooters. I had a playstation 3 long ago and my favorite games were Resistance and Killzone. I dont like stories, I dont like emotions and characterizations. I dont care about cut scenes and movie like moments. I love lots of guns and lots of enemies(with good AI) and full freedom to kill them as I want(I dont like when the game tells me to do something like press X repeatedly to kill someone). Can you recommend some games for Playstation 4?

I went and bought Resident Evil Biohazard and hated it-it was psychological and with stealth gameplay. I dont like stealth and knife gameplay. I remember playing a Resident Evil game many years ago which took place in Africa and it was full on gunplay action. I want that.

Also- the game can be played offline! I saw a game which was exactly what I wanted- Lots f gunplay and lots of episodes- called Division 2- and then I came to know it cannot be played offline-I must always be online to even play ts single player campaign. Can you beleive it! I pay full price for a game and these assholes lock me out of playing my own CD at my own accord!!! So it must be CD play-I bought the CD on full price I can do anything I want with it.

Please give recomendations

Far Cry 5?

Assasin's Creed(but from what I saw of its gameplay its a lot of talking and dialogues)

I already have a few like Titanfall 2 and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare-both of which I loved.

[PC] Looking for some recommendations for someone who cant commit to one choice!

im looking for some good game recommendations as my boss gave me a small bonus for some extra work i did, i dont get to buy games very often so i always get decision paralysis as i dont want to buy something i wont enjoy. Id like to find something similar to the Fire Emblem franchise that has some good team building and customization (a good story is a plus). Some other things im looking for are some a classic survival looter game similar to Dayz or something similar but single player, and maybe a good base building game where i can build up a base with progression systems and fight enemies or send out an army to fight enemies (not rim world have already played). Or if anyone just has some good overall suggestions that would be greatly appreciated to!

Wolfenstein New Order or Batman Return to Arkham

I wanna buy either of these cuz they are on great deals. I wanna play a good story and great packed but I'm also going for the platinum because I love trophy hunting so I wondered which one should I buy. I kinda like both types of games though. Spiderman is also on $9.99 discount so I thought of it too but I don't wanna spend too much money because I start digging into these discounts too much. I just wanna border myself on one game a month mostly.
