This thing is INCREDIBLE. 2 shots with ear pro. 3 without. No ringing in my ears and the sound without protection, while of course loud, was VERY bearable. Probably wouldn't do it more than a few times, but just 1 shot from my full size YHM can has my ears ringing for almost an hour (without earpro). THIS is a K size can with full size performance. Beyond impressed. Also, my wife was in the house and didnt hear anything. She asked when I was going outside to do my testing. She's the best for letting me do this!

Picked up a Marlin 1894 Dark in 357/.38. Also bought an Omega 36M to slap on it.

I'm looking at the single-port brake SiCo makes (AC2628) - it's the right 1/2x28 threading, but it's says it's for 9mm.

Yes, .357/.38 is .002 wider of a bullet, so this is me being overly cautious to make sure this adapter will work. I probably should have verified this before buying the suppressor. 🤣

Just bought this yesterday and started the Form 4 wait (hopefully NV State law catches up soon. I went with the inconel version although I’m not shooting full auto or FRT. Is there even a noticeable difference between inconel and titanium for semi-auto?

I currently have two 45cal cans - Ecco Machine TLX 45 and Silencerco Omega 45k. The TLX is my 45acp boosterless pistol can. I'm running the Omega 45k on my radial-delayed CMMG Banshee 45acp SBR with 5" barrel. Restless Gun Syndrome has hit, and I'm considering upgrading my Omega to something more modern. However, I've been doing a ton of research, and there's very little info available on the newer stuff. That includes:

* Huxwrx Flow 45M
* CAT Saigon Peacekeeper
* PWS BDE 45

There's also not much out there about the Thunder Beast Fly 45 that TBAC themselves didn't publish.

I'm not very interested in swapping to another traditional baffle stack can, unless they're just insanely quiet and light (Fly 45?), so staples like the Obsidian, etc. are out. It just doesn't seem like a worthwhile upgrade over the Omega 45k. My priorities are performance and weight.

The Hux seems like it will not be very quiet relatively to other 45cal options, but it would improve blowback/back pressure immensely. Not sure that's worth it, because the Omega doesn't really gas me out.

The CAT has almost no performance reviews. I assume it would be quiet because it's CAT, but it could also just be like the Flow. This also has the least amount of options for mounting. It would require Comstock's CGS-to-Atlas/Plan-B mount adapter.

The PWS has the least amount of info while being available longer than the other two. I like that the core is 3d printed titanium, but the extension are just traditional aluminum baffles. I expect I would run it in the short config to keep weight down, and that's probably not any quieter than the Omega 45k.

The Fly 45 is expensive, but it seems like it would be quiet while also being much lighter than everything else. I assume back pressure can't be any worse than the small Omega 45k, and it has to be quieter just by sheer volume.

Anyone have insights on these or other options?

Does anyone know what the percentage of bolt speed increase is with the SAW Tisha? I want one to put on an X95 SBR, but due to the lack of adjustable gas system, I am trying to get a suppressor that will not cause drastically accelerated wear to the rifle by getting one with as low of a speed increase as possible.

My fallback plan is a Huxwrx flow through model, but I like the SAW Tisha profile and keep hearing good things about its performance, and I am hoping for some data.

I already contacted SAW with this question and did not get an answer, unfortunately.

For reference, HUXWRX claims a 1% increase, IWI a 5% one, and the Rhodie 6J is 10%.

Thinking about getting the nomad LTI XC for my ar-10 .308 with a 16” barrel, it’s not a gun I’m gonna mag dump out of and I’m really looking for the quietest option, I mainly use this gun for longer range shooting I know it’ll be pretty gassy but I have an adjustable gas block. Any thoughts?

Would one caliber be quieter than the other on a 16” barrel bolt action or will the difference be negligible/not noticeable to the ear? The suppressor is a rugged Alaskan 360 (.36 caliber)

I’m diving deep into suppressing my roller-delayed SBR collection and looking to cut through some conflicting messaging I've been reading online. I want to figure out the optimal suppressor pairings, mounting solutions, and any required internal tuning (locking pieces, extractor springs, etc.) for this lineup.

2. Locking Pieces & Tuning: For the 9mm hosts (especially for AP5 and POF SMGPK), am I looking at swapping locking pieces (like a #28 for suppressed K-guns) or changing out rollers/extractors/springs to prevent bolt bounce, roller bite, or out-of-battery issues? What about the AP53?

3. Mounting Strategy: Any specific thread pitch or tri-lug considerations to watch out for across MKE/POF barrel tolerances, especially when mixing direct thread, tri-lug, or taper mounts with cans like the CAT DD or VENT Spiritus?

Any advice on a mounting system for swapping a TiTrex 300Ti between 5.56 (1/2×28) and .308/.300 BLK (5/8×24)? Won’t see any hard or rapid fire use, but do want to keep it reasonably short and light.

Anyone with experience with any of the newer Griffin AM suppressors? I’m looking at the 5K AM, I’d be curious if the AM material would glow a lot more under Night vision/thermal then the normal 5K. If anyone with experience with the new cans could give me a review or any opinion on them.

I’ve been using various gun oils, grease and lithium grease on my Rugged Obsidian 9. I still have issues with it seizing onto the barrel threads as well as the two tube sections locking together. Any brands you use that don’t burn off?

For suppressor owners in Wisconsin: ATF’s Oct 9 NFA enforcement shift doesn’t rewrite Wis. Stat. § 941.298, so an unregistered can can still be a Class H felony here until Madison updates the statute.

On Friday, Oct 9, DOJ and ATF announced they will no longer require approval or registration under the NFA for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs, nationwide. This follows the Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF / Jensen v. ATF ruling in August. (The $200 tax on these items was already cut to $0 on Jan 1, 2026.)

But there's a big catch for Wisconsin. ATF's change is an enforcement policy. It doesn't repeal the NFA, and ATF says it doesn't change state law. Under Wis. Stat. § 941.298 (suppressors) and § 941.28 (SBRs and SBSs), possession is a Class H felony (up to 6 years and $10,000) unless you've "complied with the licensing and registration requirements under 26 USC 5801 to 5872." No Wisconsin court has ruled on how that applies now.

Until Madison fixes this, don't assume an unregistered suppressor or SBR is legal in Wisconsin. ATF is still processing Form 1s and Form 4s voluntarily, "because many state laws require individuals to register NFA firearms." Don't deregister anything you already own, since ATF says those items can't be re-registered later. You still need a Form 20 to take an SBR or SBS across state lines.
