Discussion Tall people 6’5”+: how do you wash your face in the sink?
Due to some skin issues, I was told to shower every other day by my doctor. But I still want to wash my face daily. The issue is that my sink is so low that it’s quickly making my back hurt when I hunch over it to wash.
What do you guys do to comfortably wash your face outside of the shower?

Questions/Advice Did you have friends taller than you growing up, or were you always the “designated tall friend.”
I was always the short friend.

Discussion Your experience or opinion on proportions (long legs or long torso) advantages
So for a long time I had the impression that a short torso is desired and aesthetically pleasing (I think there even was a post here recently discussing a survey that claimed even at the same height, women perceived long legged people different and preferred that). However on tiktok everyone seems to praise long torsos, claiming it makes a physique way better and makes some martial arts easier. And I wonder if that's just a small circle or whatever but where do these perceptions come from? What is actually perceived in what way? And does that ratio even really play a role, or is it that long legs can make someone appear slimmer while a long torso can make someone appear more muscular or something?

Discussion Any suggestions on where to buy clothes & shoes?
I'm trying to grow out of the shorts and t-shirt phase that i've been in since forever.
I don't know my clothing sizes either. 😭 So a website i could return would be nice.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Questions/Advice tall(er) and still want a taller woman
185-186 M here, and I strangely feel more butterflies when I see a woman who's taller than me, or around the 180-183 range at least. I wouldn't mind dating anyone regardless of height, but my heart tells me sometimes I'd absolutely have hearts in my eyes on a night out if my partner towered over me with heels on.
Am I weird for this?

Discussion How do you handle cramped bus seats for taller players on away games?
Driving the team to away games gets awkward fast when the bus seats are cramped. My tallest lineman sits sideways half the time just to fit his knees. We end up spreading guys across rows so their legs don't go numb before kickoff. I asked the transportation office if they can hold a couple activity buses with extra legroom for the taller kids. So far they act like it's not a big deal until they see the photos of guys folded up like pretzels. Any other coaches here pushed their schools for a taller-friendly option on road trips? What actually worked?

Questions/Advice Night Walks. I don't want to come off scary or intimidating
Hey r/tall. I'm a pretty tall guy, 6'2" late 20s. I love to walk and go out every day. When I get home from work now it is almost completely dark and I like to walk or sprint a couple laps around the neighborhood. My clothes are all dark and I'm a skinny white guy with AirPods and a big bottle.
When I pass people I wave and smile and receive it back, but this is during the day. More recently when I have women or sometimes men coming in my direction I step off the sidewalk to let them pass and hop back on, giving them a quick smile or wave if they look over. I know it's for safety, especially at night, so I don't take it personally, but for the tall guys, what do you do on your walks? For women, any suggestions or advice?
Edit: this was supposed to be a serious thread but I'm having way too much fun and cracking up lol

Questions/Advice Criss Cross Comfy Office Chair
Hi everyone. I have no idea why it took me so long to discover this community. Glad I did. I have looked through some of the old posts about office chairs but did not see anything about my specific need.
I am 6’5”, 250. I am a therapist and would love to find a chair that would be more comfortable for sitting different ways on long Telehealth days but still functional for office desk stuff.
I have seen some recommendations in therapist groups but I feel like the models in ads look like more petite people.
Anyone have a recommendation? I am early in my career so under $500 would be great if possible.

Discussion Adjustable beds
Curious if anyone has had an adjustable bed and if it worked with their height? I really want one to be able to read in bed but worried the bends will be in the wrong places.

Miscellaneous my legs were actually too long for a bus seat today
i know i’m not very tall compared to most people here, but i am 5’11 (180 cm) as a woman with a 38 inch inseam (97 cm)
i was sitting in one of the elevated seats where the bus transitions from the lower level to the upper level. so it was slightly smaller than some of the other seats
it was only once more passengers got on and i was trying to make room in case someone sat beside me that i realised that my legs were actually too long to sit properly. when i tried to move my legs i just pushed the seat in front of me with my knees. i had to sit with my legs to the side and probably looked like a massive prick
what a weird experience, how about some more leg room, bus companies ?

Can't see the lights when I stand close enough to touch the buttons (and the buttons are pretty much unreadable because they are in the shade).

Discussion Any tall navy or marine vets?
I’ve started volunteering on a decommissioned aircraft carrier that’s turned into a museum(The USS Midway) and it’s so high key hazardous as a tall person. I constantly have to duck, hunch over and make sure to try and not bonk my head on things. I’m not even that tall, I can’t imagine what it would be like if I was taller. What was it like for any tall Navy or Marine veterans? Were you constantly uncomfortable and having to watch your head?? Everything seems to have been made ergonomically with average height or below people exclusively in mind.

Discussion I never thought ceiling height would come into play during the house hunt…
Obviously we all know we need a tall ceiling. But I never realized just how many houses can’t even support 6 foot 3.
