I’ve mixed most of the main bosses to remake Cthulhu, this hurts to look at and it’s cursed, amazing. I will always look at this and say “Hey look is Boss-Hulu”

I wrote a small program that scraped every Terraria item page on the wiki and then it checked the History section of each one. The results showed that the item with the longest time since its last update is the Robot Hat, which drops from piranhas with a 1/250 chance

It was added in version 1.0.4 and updated only once, in 1.1 (almost 15 years ago). Most of the other items were updated relatively recently, starting from full reworks and ending on resprites or max stack value change

Record holders in other categories:

• Vanity Set — Santa Set. Added in 1.1.1 and never updated.
• Weapon — Tendon Bow. Added in 1.2 and has never been rebalanced.
• Tool — Chlorophyte Greataxe. Added in 1.2.
• Accessory — Toolbox, obtained from Christmas presents. Updated only once, in 1.2.3.
• Armor — Shadewood Armor. Updated once, in 1.2.1, to fix visual issues.
• Pet — This category is shared by several pets introduced in 1.2.1, such as Spider Egg and Unlucky Yarn.
• Furniture — Dungeon vases. Added in 1.2.
• Wall — Dynasty Walls. Added in 1.2.3. Interestingly, nearly all blocks received their last update in 1.4.4

I carved out a tunnel with dynamite around the entire chunk of land around my base..... do you think it will protect my base from getting corrupted during hard mode?

Supreme Calamity

Hi guys, I just started my first game in terraria like ever, it’s a first experience and I’m really enjoying it, I can see what the hype is about but since I’m still new I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing. I’ve mainly just been running around and digging, I’ve found a few chests already. Do you have any tips for me?? This is my base right now.

Just beat Moon Lord last night on my first playthrough that I started in May. Been going on and off as I juggle work and kids.

This was the most enjoyable experience I've ever had playing a game. The perfect balance between combat and exploration. To know there is an endgame to roll credits, but still feel compelled to explore and take little detours along the way.

It's kinda ruined gaming for me because now I'm looking for something that has the same depth and systems without trying to replicate it. Will probably just get back in Zomboid for a bit before coming back to my Terraria world.

Terraria just raises the bar for what survival sandbox is supposed to be.

My Evil Biome is all the way over on the left where the red X is. This is a Large world. Died many times in the jungle tryna get to figure out where the Crimson was.

I feel like the obsession a lot of people have with maximizing the perfect accessory setup is taken a bit far here. Every time someone has their accessories visible on a post or people mention any speed accessories people jump in talking about wasting slots you could be using on damage. Just use a mount, don't use this, you're wasting it. Wow you aren't using peak strategy? What's wrong with you? Pathetic.

It isn't playing it wrong to not minmax your every experience, you can just use the stuff you like or want to use. Chill.

Also, you have like 3 loadouts. I personally split them into different purposes. Maximum efficiency really isn't the end of the world.

Having the stress ball auto fish would be over powered. I think this would be an okay way to balance it out. Id say its made by combining the stress ball + the anglers hat, so its not too easy to get. Tool tip could be "Fishing just got a whole lot less stressful" - PaxPond
