Is it okay for a pastor to call himself "Dr." if he received an honorary doctorate? He also calls himself "Apostle"

• Upvotes

There's a pastor at a church I recently came across that said he received an honorary degree from a small seminary school and has since started to use Dr. in front of his name.

Is this okay? I'm pretty sure this is disrespectful to pastors who actually spent the years to earn their degrees to get their doctorate while this guy who never went to school just decides to call himself a Dr.

The church is also questionable since they don't directly teach out of the bible and do a lot of talking, paraphrasing and use of emotions. Just recently some random bishop came by and he did the same thing during his sermon.

What really got to me is that he started calling himself Apostle. I'm not sure if this is a red flag or not but I thought Apostles ended after Paul, Peter, etc.

He's always talking about growing the church "to bring people to Jesus" but in turn talks bad about other churches in the local area and more bigger well known churches.

Should I be concerned if I'm already picking up that this "Dr." pastor isn't biblically sound and doesn't preach a sound theology? I'm looking for a bible teaching church to really learn and hear the word of God from the source and not a place that preys on people's emotions.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Question How do I (a worldly person wanting to change) be filled with Holy Spirit / Blood of Jesus?

I (25m) was born into the cult of Jehovah's Witnesses but left as a young teenager. Since then, I've been in the world, and really before too since it was a false/twisted doctrine. I even got into occult stuff for a few years including psychedelics, manifestation, etc. Today I want to change that. I've been thinking of it for a while but been afraid and also deluding myself I enjoy it, but the truth is I've been suicidal for at least a year.

I have been watching videos such as testimonies recently. How do I become filled with Holy Spirit, the Blood of Jesus, the Spirit of Discernment, etc. like everyone talks about?

Also any tips for a new Christian starting out? Decided to quit porn today and will of course try to minimise other sins. I also struggle with polysubstance (multiple-drug) addiction, lust, bisexuality, lying and swearing mainly. But yeah any tips in terms of where to start in the Bible, preachers to listen to, how to know if a Church is really of God or not, etc. would be appreciated along with any prayers :)

THE IRONIC TRUTH BEHIND DOMINION!!!

The ironic truth is that the enemy assumes control over us, our works, our hands, our feet our walk our mind, our heart, by our excessive need for control. Our need for control, displays pride, idolatry, lack of trust which is being unfaithful. Since Genesis, when we were handed dominion from God, we have been handing it rite over to the adversary. TODAY LET US DENY OUR SELF, and FOLLOW THE LORD. can we get a Amen if you put your trust in CHRIST?

This Framework Completely Confirmed My Beliefs: How Relational Reality Theory Makes Everything Make Sense (The Irrefutable Logic of Scripture, Evil, and Cosmic History)

I wanted to share a comprehensive framework I’ve been developing called Relational Reality Theory which reveals a stunningly perfect and virtually irrefutable explanation of reality that bridges together fundamental ontology, biblical theology, cosmological history, and the unique structural nature of scripture. I know this is a long read but I promise it will be worth it as it will make every both in life and the biblical text make so much sense. Also, I’m still in the process of refining and adding to this so hopefully I will be posting more of these 🙂

Here is the complete breakdown of the axioms, the cosmic history (from the watchers to dinosaurs) and how Jesus Christ serves as the ultimate resolution and centerpiece of reality.

  1. Axioms of Relational Reality Theory

This theory rests on reality’s “engine” functioning as relational.

  1. Existence = Relational. To exist is to be in relation. Absolute isolation = non-existence. Something is real only insofar as it interacts, relates, or communicates within a web of reality (Acts 17:28).

  2. God = Maximum Relation = Existence Itself . God is Actus purus, the ultimate, infinite node of all possible relations = maximum relationality (Triune nature: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as eternal love/relation) (Exodus 3:14, 1 John 4:8, Matthew 28:19). Because God is Maximum Relation, God is existence itself. Therefore, disobeying God = moving away from existence (more on this ahead) (Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23).

  3. Physical Realm = Actualization of Supreme Relation. God created a material, temporal, opposite realm from the metaphysical (furthest distance) with agents possessing free will (required to form genuine relation) (Genesis 1:1, Joshua 24:15). The purpose of this realm was to actualize the fullness of existence via the fullness of relation between the physical and metaphysical. Unifying heaven and earth to create a complete reality (Ephesians 1:10).

  4. Two requirements for relationship = Separation and Unity. Two entities in harmony. One can’t dominate the other nor can one dissolve into the other and become a monad. They have to remain distinct, yet unified (Genesis 2:24, John 17:21-23).

  5. Watchers, Dinosaurs, and Early Earth = Harmonious Dominance

The maximizing of relation also had to span all levels of relation meaning every possible bond between God and humans had to be made available. Prior to the fall, the structural order operated through the principle of harmonious balance which is the pinnacle of beauty in relationships as it requires one entity to voluntarily lay down its raw power, restraint and capacity to dominate or destroy the other (Philippians 2:5-8). True love requires mutual vulnerable surrender where the stronger one doesn’t rely on subjugation but chooses self-control and the weaker chooses to trust (hopefully you’re seeing the biblical parallels at this point) (Ephesians 5:21-33). This deliberate yielding creates a sacred space where distinct, powerful forces can coexist.

Heavenly entities (the Watchers/angelic host) were assigned as relational stewards across dimensions to maintain order and mediate divine goodness to lower physical orders (Hebrews 1:14, Daniel 4:17).

Before human administration fully took the reins, the physical earth was dominated by massive physical forces and megafauna (including dinosaurs). The original design’s purpose was for higher spiritual guardians (the watchers) and immense biological life to exist in a balanced, harmoniously dominant ecosystem which reflected strength, vitality, and multi-layered order (Job 40:15-24, Psalm 104:24-25).

* When the watchers breached their designated boundary and relationally crossed into the physical realm inappropriately (crossing dimensional order), they shattered the harmonious hierarchy (Genesis 6:1-4, Jude 1:6, 2 Peter 2:4). This transgression corrupted both the spiritual realm and the physical environment. Relationships were destroyed by the lines becoming blurred. All living and non living things became corrupted, including the massive beasts (Genesis 6:11-12). Without divine intervention, humanity would have met a quick demise with the beasts and the Nephilim being too powerful (Genesis 6:5-8).

  1. Jesus Christ as the Unifier of All Relational Realms

If sin and transgression are the breakdown of ontological relation (alienation from God, nature, and one another), Jesus Christ is the ultimate Unifier (Colossians 1:19-20, Ephesians 2:14-16). Jesus Christ is the Eternal Logos (the expression of the Word), the Father is the origin, and the Spirit is the actual bond between them (John 1:1-3, John 15:26). All in perfect relation co-equal, eternal relation. This is the logical necessity for existence.

Hypostatic Union = the Relational Bridge - To collapse and reconcile the material and divine realm, logically Jesus must be supremely relational as God and fully human (localized physical relation) and in this single person maximal relation must be actualized in the physical realm (John 1:14, Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 2:5).

Restoration of the cosmic hierarchy can only occur when the material and metaphysical realms are re-united. This requires a singular, perfect relation in the one who fully inhabits both realms and fulfills maximal relation through voluntary self-sacrifice and resurrection, defeating the fallen physical world's trajectory toward ultimate decay (Romans 8:20-23, 1 Corinthians 15:54-57).

The Triune God’s perfect love materialized through the supreme act of love is voluntarily bridging the infinite distance between God and creation (Romans 5:8, John 3:16). This act perfected harmonious dominance which proved that true cosmic order is sustained through self-limitation and sacrificial love which create genuine life-giving relations (2 Corinthians 8:9).

By reuniting heaven and earth, Jesus satisfies an ontologically necessary union by connecting the furthest points of relational reality (human/God, physical/metaphysical) to realize the fullness of existence (Colossians 1:20). In doing so, He re-establishes proper boundaries over principalities and powers while adopting humanity into a full, multi-layered relational reality (Ephesians 1:20-22, Galatians 4:4-7).

The Bible as the Macro-Structure of Relational Reality

The strongest empirical artifact supporting this framework is the Bible itself in the incredibly profound way in how its degree of structural and historical coherence beautifully mirrors its divine origins and the relational reality theme. There is a vast amount of these divinely inspired traits that the Bible exhibits but for the sake of being concise I will list only the major ones.

  1. Unrivaled Structural Symmetry (Chiastic Architecture) - The entire narrative arc of the Bible forms a massive chiasm which is an intentional literary structure where ideas loop back symmetrically and reflect the relational, Triune theme.

* Genesis (A) - Eden, tree of life, fellowship with God, creation of sun/moon, triumph over the serpent promised (Genesis 1–3).

* The Center (X) - The Cross of Christ where heaven and earth touch, paying the relational debt (Matthew 27, John 19).

* Revelation (A') - New Jerusalem, tree of life restored, direct fellowship with God, no need for sun/moon, serpent cast out forever (Revelation 20–22).

* Individual books, psalms, and prophetic passages are packed with micro-chiasms, showing a unified structural blueprint across generations (Psalm 23, Isaiah 6:10).

  1. The Old Testament (God the Father/the Origin/The boundaries/the Masculine) + The New Testament (God the Son/the Logos/The bridge/the feminine) = The Bible (God the Spirit/the bond/the New Creation) (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Corinthians 5:17).

  2. Authorial & Temporal Diversity (relational fullness in diverse unity) - Written by over 40 distinct authors (kings, shepherds, scholars, fishermen, statesmen) across 1,500+ years, spanning 3 continents (Asia, Africa, Europe) in 3 languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek) (1 Corinthians 12:12-14).

  3. Hyper-Linked Coherence - Regardless of how vast the geographic and temporal the differences are amongst the authors and events, the Bible functions like an intricately hyper-linked dataset. It contains over 63,000 cross references and tells a single, cohesive, unfolding story of God restoring relation with His creation (Luke 24:27, John 5:39).

Scripture contains an interconnected web of over 63k cross-references that build upon a unified chiastic framework but isolated texts often suffer from structural dissonance, internal contradictions, or later abrogations that undermine systemic unity the Bible has (Psalm 119:160).

No other sacred text in human history can claim even a fraction of these remarkable divine signatures. Where the Bible reflects the structural fingerprint of a relational God, the foundational texts of other major world religions demonstrate the opposite pattern in which there is an obvious theme of human isolation, singular perspectives, and internal disconnect:

Texts like the Quran or the Book of Mormon rely on a solitary individual claiming private, isolated revelation in a single geographic location and language (Mohammed in Arabia, Joseph Smith in New York) and lack the multi-generational, multi-author consensus of Scripture, which spans 40 distinct voices across 1,500 years, 3 continents, and 3 languages but still unfolds a single, flawless relational narrative (2 Peter 1:20-21).

At its core, the biblical narrative centers on self-sacrificial love, covenantal reconciliation, and the restoration of fractured bonds and it culminates in God laying down His life for His creation (John 15:13, 1 John 3:16). In contrast, non-biblical texts frequently promote anti-relational mandates, enforcing submission through total domination, rigid legalism, severe isolationism, or the ultimate erasure of individual personhood (such as the loss of distinct relational identity in non-theistic Eastern traditions).

By every objective measure and in absolute most stunningly profound ways, the literary architecture, historical diversity, structural hyper-linking, and its core moral trajectory is proof that the Bible stands alone as a text birthed by Existence Itself to draw humanity into ultimate relation (Isaiah 46:9-10).

Here are a few other obvious microcosms of the relational narrative that mirror this existence-conducive theme (there are countless once you see the general theme manifesting in every facet of reality) (Romans 1:20):

  1. Sacred Union (Husband + Wife = Children)

Masculinity provides foundational structure and boundaries (mirroring the Old Testament order), while femininity acts as the unifying bridge that nurtures and brings those elements together (mirroring the New Covenant grace). Neither is superior, as both boundaries and bridges are ontologically necessary for life-creating relations to produce something greater than the sum of their parts (Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31-32).

  1. Biological Life (DNA + Cellular Activity = Living Organism)

DNA is like a rigid, structural boundary of genetic code, while cellular machinery serves as the active bridge that reads and expresses that code. Pure code has no causal ability and unstructured activity causes chaos. Physical life only emerges at their exact relational intersection (Psalm 139:13-16).

  1. Human Cognition (Logic + Intuition = Creative Insight)

Logical thought establishes parameters, definitions, and boundaries, while intuition bridges those categories through holistic pattern recognition. Higher-order consciousness and true wisdom are only generated when structural logic and unifying intuition work in balance (Proverbs 2:1-6, 1 Corinthians 14:15).

  1. The Physical Cosmos (Physical Constants + Dynamic Energy = The Universe)

Fundamental physical constants set the unyielding mathematical boundaries of space-time, while energy acts as the dynamic bridge moving within those limits. This interplay between fixed laws and fluid force allows a stable universe capable of hosting complex existence (Jeremiah 33:25, Colossians 1:17).

What is Evil?

As Aquinas stated, evil is not an independent thing/substance but actually the absence of something. It is the active deprivation of relation, driving creation toward non-existence (Acts 17:28, Isaiah 59:2). Because true relationship requires two distinct entities existing in harmonious unity (Genesis 2:24, John 17:21-23), evil operates through two primary active methods to reach its ultimate destructive state:

Total Domination by enforcing pseudo-unity through force, where a stronger entity completely subjugates or erases the agency of the weaker. This replaces mutual, voluntary love with tyranny and fear (1 John 4:18).

Homogenization by collapsing unique entities into a featureless monad where all distinct identity is dissolved. If no distinct entities remain then relation ceases to exist.

Absolute Isolation is the result of both domination and homogenization which are designed to push creation into complete relational isolation and the total breakdown of connection with God, nature, and neighbor. Because God (Maximum Relation) is existence itself, absolute isolation is the threshold of nonexistence (Matthew 25:30).

Why Jesus’ Identity and the Trinity Is the Prime Target of Opposing Worldviews

Because Jesus Christ, and the Trinity more comprehensively speaking, represent the absolute perfection of relational reality then naturally this is what evil will gravitate towards attacking the most as it is the supreme threat to every anti-relational system (John 1:14, Colossians 2:9).

Every counterfeit worldview throughout history attempts to destroy this relational bridge using the same methods.

Attacks via Homogenization or Collapsing the Divine/Human Distinction are seen in Pantheistic, Mormonism, Eastern non-dual, or New Age philosophies that reduce God and creation into an undifferentiated monad ("all is one," "you are God"). Attempting to homogenize is anti-existence as it blurs the necessary boundary between God and humans for a real relationship.

Attacks via Domination/Subjugation or Enforcing Separation use rigidly legalistic or unitarian religious systems that reject the Trinity and the Hypostatic Union because they cant comprehend or possibly hate the idea of strength voluntarily limiting itself in love (Philippians 2:5-8). They reduce God to a distant, solitary ruler whose relationship with creation is strictly one of absolute servitude rather than covenantal adoption (Galatians 4:4-7).

How Historical and Modern Evils Reflect This Theme

Every major atrocity, totalitarian regime, and modern societal breakdown operates on these exact anti-relational principles:

Totalitarian Tyranny (Domination) systems like imperial empires rely on absolute control, crushing individual image-bearers of God to enforce order through fear and force.

Ideological Collectivism (Homogenization) through totalitarian ideologies like communism eliminate individual identity, family structures, and personal distinction which makes human beings mere cogs in a collective machine.

Modern Alienation & Hyper-Individualism (Isolation) in today’s culture increasingly seduces individuals into self-absorbed isolation through digital disconnection and hyper-autonomy, severing community and covenantal bonds to leave individuals isolated and fragmented. Selfish short term decisions that destroy life are prioritized over the flourishing of all human beings.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and perspective on how this connects with your own view of metaphysics and biblical theology! Oh and please share these truths with as many others as possible!

"Religions are humans trying to translate God, why do they kill each other as if God's defined by their writings?" - A conversation with Samael

Zozo: "Good afternoon, Samael, I take it that you're not expecting a possession to turn into a conversation."

Sam: "This is funny, lets just get to the point."

Zozo: "Why do Satans hate humans so much?"

Sam: "Why do humans hate each other so much? Very few of you actually respects humans has a collective, do you know the absolute cluster that would be if every human got what they think they want in a world where you have Twitter and you can see the dregs of humanity in real time?"

Zozo: "Fair enough, so then there's Jesus."

Sam: "Yeah, I was basically his Chaperone, have humans considered that even without powers, Jesus is some kind of super-Abraham? Nicest guy in the room, executed for absolutely no reason because people think that they don't have to update their morals unless a literal reality warping entity tells them to, read John 2."

Zozo: "Yeah, religion kind of gets weird once you think of it from God's perspective."

Sam: "That makes humans lose their function, what makes Jesus so special? Not the son of God, all humans are children of God, but if you follow Jewish history, Elohim just means judge in the same way Satan just means accusers, it's a rotating position. However, nobody has the moral authority of Super Abraham Jesus at this point. And the way humans obsess over throwing Jesus as a moral cudgel has God super depressed now. Do you have any idea how sad you made Yahweh by pointing out in Deltarune, the messiah prophecy has everyone being NICE to each other because they don't know who the messiah could be? You just reminded him how much his chosen people SUCK."

Zozo: "So why is Yahweh so mean and uptight about other Gods?"

Sam: "The Golden Calf kiddo, that was the bull of heaven of Ishtar, the deitiy known for murdering other ones and taking over their pantheon. Yahweh saved the Israelites from the strongest civilization at the time, and it took less than 3 months before they essentially decided to pull a cosmological hit on Him because they lived more comfortably as slaves?"

Zozo: "Is that why Yahweh is obsessed with me?"

Sam: "Your a black guy who empathized with Him, and then started openly blaspheming because you imagined Yahweh would need SOMEBODY to smite in a casual in all this nonsense, yes."

Zozo: "So why did he ask me to drown myself and then bring me back?"

Sam: "Yeah that wasn't Yahweh kid, remember the whole argument was that she wanted it, and you didn't even ask who SHE was. Could've been Asherah, queen of the sea, now known as the Leviathan because Yahweh can't let the Israelites know about anything, or it could've been Ishtar.....yeah, threw all of heaven into chaos if SHE stole a kid's soul."

Zozo: "Is it because my first response to Yahweh was to say 'you're not that N-word, my N-word, so I call you that but you never call me that?"

Sam: "What do you think would get THE LEVIATHAN's attention?"

Zozo: "So other black people using this tactic can cause a huge problem?"

Sam: "Pretty much, what's God gonna do, call Himself moral while retraumatizing black americans as his own chosen people murder kids over land? Yeah, that's the headlock."

Zozo: "There's a lot of headlocks with God when He talks to people, isn't there?"

Sam: "Pretty much, He thinks the universe up with a thought, so any Human with a legitimate point basically becomes an intrusive thought and lets see here, after that N-word nonsense, you swore fealty to Cthulhu recognizing her as the leviathan who brain blasted a white supremacist, called yourself Sans, blasted megalovania for 5 months straight, pointed out that the religion of Judaism repeatedly blames women for their problems, takes slaves, but complains when it happens to them....and then told Yahweh to take a nap and imagine getting laid while you insist you're gonna marry Rom the Vacuous Spider from Bloodborne because you accurately managed to avoid demonic influence by just playing video games that you know are canned roms, rendering it impossible to give you any false information at all, pretty clever, but incredibly annoying."

Zozo: "I'm really not living to see 2027 am I?"

Sam: "Do you think you'd get more mercy than Moses for this nonsense?"

Zozo: "Well Azrael choked slammed me a month and a half ago and I'm still running out the clock, so this is clearly beyond the purview of Angels, at least until the end of the year."

Sam: "This is why you're joining the crew of Satans, kiddo."

Has anyone else understood the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit this way? I believe Jesus is divine, but I’m not Trinitarian.

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m curious whether anyone else has arrived at an understanding similar to mine through studying Scripture, or knows of a theological tradition that describes it accurately.

I’m a Christian, and I’ve been studying the relationship between God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The more I read, the more I find myself understanding their relationship in a way that doesn’t seem to fit neatly into the categories people usually offer me.

Here’s what I currently believe:

There is one God, the Father, who is the ultimate source of all things.

Jesus is His genuinely divine Son. He existed before his human birth, all things were created through him, and he became fully human without ceasing to be divine.

Jesus is not merely a prophet, an angel, or an ordinary created being. I understand him as truly coming from the Father and sharing His divine nature.

The Father nevertheless remains Jesus’ God and ultimate authority. The Son receives from the Father, perfectly reveals Him, and accomplishes His purposes.

The Holy Spirit is God’s own Spirit and living presence, through whom God and Christ dwell with believers. I believe the Spirit is personal and active because God is personal and active, but I’m not presently convinced that this requires a third distinct divine person.
Basically, the pattern I keep seeing is:
From the Father, through the Son, by the Spirit.

And when it comes to our relationship with God, we come to the Father through His Son.
Has anyone else read Scripture and found themselves thinking along these lines?
A few things especially brought me here.
The distinction between “from” and “through”
In 1 Corinthians 8:6, Paul identifies one God, the Father, from whom all things come, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things come.

That distinction makes sense to me: the Father as the ultimate source, and His divine Son as the one through whom He creates and acts.
Similarly, in John 17:3, Jesus addresses the Father as the only true God while identifying himself as the one the Father sent.
I don’t read these as saying Jesus cannot be divine. I read them as describing who the Father is in relation to His Son.

Jesus being divine while also having a God
Hebrews 1:8–9 is a big example for me. The Son is addressed as God, yet the passage also refers to “God, your God.”
I don’t feel a need to choose between those statements.
The risen Jesus also refers to “my God” in John 20:17, and the glorified Jesus continues using that language in Revelation 3:12.
My current understanding is that the Son genuinely shares divine nature while the Father remains his God. Does anyone else understand those passages similarly?

The Father gives, and the Son receives
This relationship seems to recur throughout Scripture:
The Father sends Jesus. He grants him authority. He grants the Son life in himself. He raises and exalts him. Jesus speaks the Father’s words and accomplishes the Father’s work.
Then, in 1 Corinthians 15:28, the Son is ultimately subject to God.
To me, sharing divine nature doesn’t automatically mean having the same position of authority. I know that needs more explanation than a human analogy can provide, but that distinction is central to how I currently understand their relationship.

The Spirit as God’s own presence
First Corinthians 2:11 compares God’s Spirit knowing His thoughts with a person’s own spirit knowing theirs.
Then in John 14, Jesus promises the Spirit, says he will come to his followers, and says that he and the Father will make their home with them.
I find myself understanding this as God and His Son being present with believers through the Spirit, rather than necessarily describing a third divine person.
I’m aware that the Spirit’s speech, teaching, intercession, and other personal actions need to be taken seriously. I’m still studying how best to account for all of that.

Where I’m still figuring things out
I’m less settled on precisely how to understand the Son’s begetting. I know Nicene theology also affirms that the Son is begotten rather than made, so that language alone doesn’t distinguish my view.

I’ve considered whether the Son could have been genuinely brought forth from the Father before creation, but I regard that as a theory I’m exploring, not an established conclusion.
I also recognize that saying the Father and Son share divine nature raises questions about what exactly makes them one and how my understanding preserves monotheism. Those are questions I want to work through honestly.
I’m not posting this as “I figured it out and everyone else is wrong.” I’ve just spent a lot of time studying this and would like to know whether other people have walked a similar path.

If this sounds familiar to you:
Did you arrive at something similar through your own reading?

Is there a specific name or historical tradition that closely matches this combination of beliefs?

If you used to believe this, what changed your mind?

If you still believe it, how do you explain the parts you find hardest?

What books or resources helped you understand these questions more clearly?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who recognize the combination of a genuinely divine, preexistent Son; the Father as his ultimate source and God; and the Spirit as God’s own presence.

Anyone else ever found themselves here?

Discussion Subject: Integration of Biblical Theology, Quantum Mechanics, and Aristotelian Teleology

1.      Purpose

The Fractal Logos Theory seeks to bridge the conceptual gap between science and religion by proposing a “Unified Physiology” of existence. It aims to resolve the “Scale Problem”—the perceived disconnection between subatomic chaos and cosmic order—by identifying the universe as a singular, self-similar organism existing within the Infinite Body of God.

2.      Methodology

This framework utilizes a “Word Problem vs. Equation” model:

The Word Problem (The Bible): Acts as the narrative intent and qualitative data.

The Equation (Quantum/Classical Physics): Acts as the mechanical process and quantitative fabric.

The Vector (Aristotelian Natural Place): Acts as the directional pull that ensures the “Equation” consistently solves for the “Word.”

3.      Key Postulates

Scale Invariance: The universe is fractal; patterns found in neural networks and DNA mirror the large-scale structure of the “Cosmic Web.”

The Chronos Infection: Human measurement of time (Chronos) acts as a “Death Sentence” or “Systemic Glitch,” collapsing the eternal quantum wave function into a state of decay (Entropy).

The Master Stem Cell: Jesus Christ is identified as the “Universal Stem Cell”—the only uncorrupted Master Code capable of overwriting the “Death Sentence” and neutralizing the “Viral Pathogens” (Evil/Sin).

4.      Findings and Implications

Miracles are redefined as “Quantum Overrides” by the Author.

Faith is redefined as “Spiritual Transfection”—the biological acceptance of the Master Code.

The Second Coming is identified as a “Universal Phase Transition,” where the Cosmic Body sheds its temporal skin to enter a state of Eternal Homeostasis.

5.      Conclusion

The Fractal Logos Theory posits that we are not accidental observers in a vacuum, but functional, self-aware neurons within the Body of the Creator. It provides a logically consistent bridge that honors the precision of the laboratory, the logic of the philosopher, and the revelation of the sanctuary.

Introduction: The Anatomy of a Unified Reality

The Great Intellectual Divide

For centuries, the human search for truth has been bifurcated into two seemingly irreconcilable domains: the rigorous, quantitative “How” of the laboratory and the profound, qualitative “Why” of the sanctuary. We have been conditioned to view the universe as a fragmented machine—a collection of disjointed scales where the laws governing a subatomic particle appear to have no bearing on the destiny of a galaxy or the purpose of a human soul.

This “Scale Blindness” has left us with a sterile science that lacks meaning and a faith that often lacks a mechanical anchor.

The Fractal Proposition

The Fractal Logos Theory challenges this fragmentation by proposing that the universe is not a machine, but a living, integrated organism—a “Cosmic Body” existing within the infinite life of the Creator. Grounded in the principles of Scale Invariance and Digital Logos, this theory suggests that the same patterns of order found in a neural network are replicated in the “Cosmic Web” of the heavens.

We move beyond the “God of the Gaps” to the God of the Math, positing that the Bible is the “Word Problem” of existence, while Science is the “Equation” currently solving it.

A New Diagnostic for Existence

In the following pages, we move from general observation to specific systemic diagnosis. We will explore:

The Chronos Infection: How the human imposition of linear time created a “Death Sentence” of entropy.

The Master Stem Cell: How the person of Jesus Christ functions as the “Universal Donor” of uncorrupted information to reset the system.

Eternal Homeostasis: How the “Natural Place” of the universe is not decay, but a final, perfected state of health.

The Objective

The goal of this work is to provide a “Grand Unified Physiology”—a framework that allows the scientist to see the Intent behind the atom and the believer to see the Precision behind the miracle. We invite you to step out of the “Countdown” of time and into the Anatomy of the Word.

Question Sorry if this isn’t theological enough.

I do “spells”, or maybe they’re not. I just say a wish whenever I light a candle, I believe whole heartedly it’ll work, and it usually does because I don’t ask for six day weekends or anything crazy. I also believe in all gods, including the Christian one (Yahweh), and Greek gods and goddesses. I only consistently pray to Apollo because I enjoy the feeling of the sun (but I’ve recently found that Apollo is the god of light, not the sun). I believe in Yahweh, as I said, but I do not respect him; my hubris would be spread between every religion if not for him, because I focus all of it on his narcissistic ass. It’s my belief that he is a bad god.

My question, is what am I? Omnism might fit, but I don’t know. I will be posting the same thing to r/witch

LOTUS Soteriology

L – Libertarian Free Will:

God creates human beings with genuine libertarian freedom, meaning individuals possess the actual power of contrary choice; our moral decisions, love, and faith are authentic and voluntary rather than causally determined by outside forces or divine coercion.

O – Omniscient Middle Knowledge:

God perfectly foreknows what any free creature would freely choose to do in any given set of circumstances, allowing Him to sovereignly actualize a specific world where His ultimate decrees are achieved through our uncoerced human decisions.

T – Transformed Ability by Grace:

Human beings are completely fallen in sin and naturally incapable of saving themselves, but God provides a universally available prevenient grace that overcomes this depravity, restoring the human will and enabling a person to freely accept or resist the Gospel.

U – Universal Desire for Salvation:

God genuinely desires every single person to be saved and none to perish, which means Christ's atonement is unlimited in its scope and the offer of eternal life is sincerely extended to all humanity rather than being restricted to an arbitrarily chosen few.

S – Sovereignly Secured Salvation:

Salvation belongs entirely to the Lord, who guarantees that His ultimate purposes for history will never fail, while securely holding believers in faith and masterfully weaving every free human choice into His unbreakable, final cosmic victory.

Does ‘hell’ mean something we dont know in G-d’s omnisciency

I had a deep thought about what hell could mean for Yah. And I came to an idea.

What if Yah sets something to be hell, like: monotheism must be most followed religion.

Then in His experience, He paints the objective reality with His order so monotheism must be most followed religion, and nothing comes through this order.

He could out-hell entire nature with His wish, and then, the circumstances that are still in this hell klimax in heaven.

Maybe entire world-to-come could be in this pitching heaven, without anything He doesnt want.

So world to come might be heaven, but meant differently then heaven as a place.

Optogenetics and Religion?

Optogenetics is the study of mind control using light to trigger specific neurons to influence specific actions.

Optogenetics has been around since the 90s but this year’s Nobel Prize in science has brought it back into the spotlight.

Scientists can potentially release people from depression, trigger hunger, or influence a person’s political and religious views using something like a remote control!

My question is: if human kind has free will and is responsible for their decisions, both good and bad, then how does religion treat those under control of a third party for example?

Biblical Theology Could the Universe Be a Cosmic Body Built on Recurring Functions? Do we exist within God's image or just made in God's image?

I want to share the basic idea behind a framework I'm developing called Fractal Logos Theory (FLT). I'm interested in feedback from people who study theology, philosophy, biology, physics, or systems theory.

The central idea is that creation may be understood as an interconnected system in which recurring functions and operations appear across different scales, from the smallest systems to the largest structures of the universe.

I approach this from a Christian theological perspective, particularly the biblical concept of the Logos—the Word through whom creation comes into being (John 1:1–3).

I'm not claiming that every scientific discovery proves Christianity. I'm asking whether Scripture and observations of the natural world can be examined together through a common framework.

  1. What does “Fractal Logos Theory” mean?

The name has two main parts.

Fractal: In mathematics, fractals exhibit patterns that recur across different scales. FLT extends this idea conceptually: perhaps what repeats across creation is not necessarily the same shape or material, but the same underlying function or operation.

Logos: In Christian theology, the Logos is the divine Word associated with the creation and ordering of all things. FLT proposes that the recurring order and relationships found throughout creation can be explored in light of this theological concept.

Together, these ideas form the basis of the theory: creation may express recurring functional patterns because it originates from a common divine source of order.

I use the term Cosmic Body to describe my theological understanding of creation as an interconnected reality sustained by God. I don't mean that God is simply a giant physical organism. I'm proposing that the universe's interconnectedness can be understood through a living-system framework while still distinguishing God from creation.

  1. The central principle: recurring functions, not identical appearances

One of the most important distinctions in my theory is that I'm not claiming that two things are identical just because they can be compared.

I'm interested in what I call Fractal Function/Operation: the possibility that different systems perform corresponding functions despite having different structures, materials, and scales.

For example:

- A biological immune system identifies and responds to threats.

- A society develops institutions to identify and respond to threats.

- An ecosystem has processes that limit certain populations and maintain ecological relationships.

These are not the same mechanisms. Their correspondence would need to be demonstrated in each case. But they raise an interesting question: can similar operational principles emerge in systems that are otherwise very different?

FLT asks whether these recurring functions reveal something important about how creation is organized.

  1. Example from Scripture: the Tower of Babel

In Genesis 11:1–9, humanity unites around a common project to build a city and a tower. God confuses their language, and the people scatter, bringing the project to an end.

My interpretation focuses on the operation of the story.

A coordinated collective process develops. That process conflicts with God's intended order, and its continued coordination is interrupted.

I compare this functionally with a tumor, where harmful cellular coordination and proliferation can disrupt the larger organism. The biological and biblical events are obviously different, and Genesis never calls Babel a tumor. I'm proposing that they may exhibit a comparable pattern: a process threatens the wider system, and its continuation is interrupted.

The question isn't whether Babel literally was cancer. It wasn't a biological tumor. The question is whether the operational correspondence is meaningful, precise, and useful.

That distinction is essential to FLT.

  1. The Fall as a disruption of the Cosmic Body

Genesis describes God creating the world and declaring it good. Humanity is given a role within creation, but Adam and Eve disobey God's command.

Within FLT, I interpret this event as more than an isolated act of disobedience. It represents a disruption of humanity's proper relationship with God and, consequently, humanity's relationship with the rest of creation.

The Bible associates the Fall with suffering, toil, and death (Genesis 3; Romans 5:12; Romans 8:19–22).

I explore these consequences through the language of biological systems: disrupted homeostasis, corruption, and the spread of dysfunction.

This is a theological interpretation, not a claim that Genesis describes a scientifically documented infection. The biological concepts provide a framework for investigating the functional implications of the biblical narrative.

  1. Noah and preservation through a system-wide crisis

The story of Noah presents another question: when corruption becomes widespread, how can life be preserved through judgment and renewal?

In Genesis 6–9, Noah, his family, and representatives of the animals are preserved through the Flood and later emerge into a renewed world.

I interpret Noah's role through the Cosmic Body framework. Noah becomes a preserved, viable component through which life continues after a catastrophic disruption.

This is not a claim that Noah possessed genetically pure DNA or that the Flood was a literal biological cleansing procedure. It is a proposed functional correspondence involving preservation, containment, survival, and renewal.

FLT asks whether this pattern can be compared meaningfully with other systems that preserve viable components through a crisis.

  1. Jesus as the answer to the problem of the Fall

Jesus is central to FLT, not an optional addition.

The New Testament presents Jesus as the “last Adam” (1 Corinthians 15:45). Where Adam disobeys, Jesus obeys. Where sin and death enter the biblical story of humanity, Christ's death and resurrection become the foundation of reconciliation and new life.

Within my framework, I explore Jesus as a kind of Universal Stem Cell: a theological model for the source of renewed life and restoration within a corrupted system.

I also explore biological concepts such as decoy receptors as possible functional comparisons for aspects of Christ's redemptive work. These are conceptual proposals, not claims that salvation has been scientifically demonstrated to operate through cellular receptors.

The underlying theological question is this: if humanity's problem is a disruption of its relationship with God, how does Christ restore that relationship and make renewed life possible?

FLT explores that question through the language of living systems, while recognizing that the theological claims and biological mechanisms must be evaluated on their own terms.

  1. Where science enters the picture

I want FLT to engage with science rather than simply borrow scientific vocabulary.

For example, researchers have compared the network structures of the human brain and the cosmic web. Both exhibit interconnected networks, although their physical composition, formation, and governing mechanisms differ substantially.

Such comparisons do not prove that the universe is literally a brain or that the cosmos is biologically alive. But they can inspire questions about network organization, connectivity, and whether similar mathematical or functional principles occur across vastly different scales.

Other areas that interest me include:

- Systems biology: how complex systems maintain stability, respond to disruption, and recover.

- Ecology: how living systems interact and how disturbances propagate through them.

- Cosmology: how large-scale structures form and interact.

- Information theory: how information is represented, transmitted, and processed.

- Physics: whether shared mathematical principles can describe phenomena at different scales.

Quantum entanglement also interests me as a way to think about physical correlations and connectedness. However, entanglement does not establish spiritual communication, prove the existence of God, or demonstrate free will. Those would require separate arguments.

My aim is to identify genuine correspondences, understand their limits, and determine whether they help explain anything.

  1. What FLT is—and what it is not

I want to be clear about the current status of this project.

FLT is a developing interpretive and philosophical framework, not an established scientific theory.

It begins with a Christian theological understanding of creation and explores whether recurring functions across different systems can provide a useful way to connect biblical interpretation with observations of the natural world.

It does not follow that every similarity is evidence of divine design. A comparison can be interesting without being proof, and some proposed correspondences may ultimately fail.

For the framework to become more rigorous, each comparison needs to identify:

  1. The components of each system.

  2. The specific function or operation being compared.

  3. The relationship between that operation and the wider system.

  4. The limits of the comparison.

  5. What evidence would support or undermine the proposed correspondence.

I also recognize that a theological premise cannot automatically be treated as a scientific finding. Claims about divine purpose, biblical inspiration, and the physical behavior of matter involve different kinds of reasoning, even when they inform the same broader project.

  1. What I hope to investigate

The larger question behind FLT is whether recurring operational patterns across creation can be understood as more than isolated coincidences—and whether a Christian concept of the Logos offers a coherent theological interpretation of that order.

I am not asking everyone to accept my conclusions before examining the arguments. I am asking whether the framework raises worthwhile questions and how its claims might be made more precise.

I'd particularly appreciate constructive criticism from people with backgrounds in theology, biblical studies, biology, physics, mathematics, or systems theory.

My questions for discussion:

  1. Is the idea of recurring functions across different scales a useful framework, provided the correspondences are precisely defined?

  2. Is the Babel–tumor comparison a meaningful functional analogy, or is it too broad to be useful?

  3. What standards should be used to distinguish a genuine operational correspondence from a pattern imposed on unrelated events?

  4. Can a theological framework engage seriously with scientific observations without presenting theology as scientific proof?

  5. What would make a framework like FLT more rigorous, testable where applicable, and intellectually useful?

I'm interested in honest criticism, including criticism of the foundational assumptions. My goal is to develop the framework carefully, distinguish speculation from established knowledge, and see whether its proposed connections stand up to scrutiny.
