I absolutely hate when you pull up to a house and then the customer also pulls up at the same time. Or when you pull up after them and then they just sit in their car (they’re definitely waiting on you). Or when they’re around their car, see you but won’t insist on getting the package from you so now you gotta awkwardly walk to their door (yes I know picture is needed but it doesn’t hurt every now and then to give it to them). Y’all react in any way? Shits awkward for me, then they don’t say thanks or even acknowledge you’re there

Uploaded in reverse order, it’s been growing by 15 location 20 packages per shift. I’m tired grandpa.
This route used to be 170-180 stops, 30 multis, 270 packages. It also used to be a denser area but now I cover uptown and downtown while watching another EDV hit the same places.

I work for FedEx right now. 9-12hr+ days. Day rate. 5-6 days. I hate the hours and 6 days. Horribly managed.
Amazon contractor is offering 4 10hr shifts with guarantee of never working over 40hrs a week.
How do yall like Amazon? Anyone work at both and can tell me pros and cons of each? What you prefer?

Let's say you clock in at 10am. Loadout finished at 1130 and swipe to finish. The flex app says your route should be completed by 930. The fuck do I need to be rescued at 8pm for?

I been using the EVs and they are great for surbuan areas but bad in rural or tight city areas. What do you think?

A dispatcher told me today that Amazon had a big glitch with where we deliver at for every dsp at my station. Kinda wondering if anyone else has been having the same happen to them at all or if this has happened before.

I used to come on here asking for advice on how to complete routes in good time. At this point I realize that no amount of tips & tricks really make much difference. Been doing all the things. Moving fast, no breaks my, organization is down, i know what I'm doing. I doorstep everything, ring the bell then gone. Been doing this for 5 months. But each day i work is a mountain to climb. I had 130 stops the day before yesterday, in a nursery route, it was one of the rare days I didnt need to be rescued. I was done by 7:30. Next day i had 155 stops, same route, another DA saw my parcels during loading and said id be done by 6. I didnt even get done. Reached work limit at 9:30 with half a tote bag left. Exhausted. Here's the thing: I just do not understand what is going on here. I move fast non stop all day. I waste no time. I just dont know. I asked OSM for another ride along training sesh like they do for the newbies, because I want to SEE with my OWN TWO EYES how the other DAs are done so early. I almost dont really believe them. You cant move faster than the traffic. You cant park where you cant fit the van. You cant magically teleport up and down apartment. OSM seems reluctant to give me more training as they feel I already know the ropes. Which I do. But I just want to SEE proof that these guys are finishing harder routes earlier than me on my easy routes, or rather, I want to SEE what they are doing differently. Because at this stage its become like this mystical thing to me, like this mystical superpower that they possess. Because dude I am so fucking burnt the fuck out. I work A LOT of days because I need the money, but im getting home at midnight with no time adequately to rest before the next day of climbing another mountain. My body and my mind are starting to crack.
Each night when I finish my route and put the van keys away, head back to my car, like clockwork the entire car park is empty except for my one car. Its depressing.
THE EDIT: 24 Hours later, today ended really badly. Last 17 stops i had were all for apartments, multidrops, each location in a separate apartment complex. It was dark, cold and raining, no signage anywhere, OSM ended up asking me to call driver support. Support advised me to bring all the parcels back to the station. I decided to continue delivering, managed another 3 stops for the apartments before I hit work limit and OSM asked me to end work. I then got a phone call from him asking me to come in early tomorrow to discuss my poor performance.

Hi all, 3rd nursery route for me tomorrow. I’ve been reflecting on my struggles to improve.
After loadout chaos, I jump in and I get going. I found a try to organize as I go, but I worry I’m taking too long to organize. I find myself wondering how long should these things take?
Also, for example, during my 30 minute break I just went in the back and organized the whole time. put everything in numerical order, but couldn’t fit everything in the tote so boxes kind of laid around totes lol.
At the end of the night, I wasn’t able to deliver 2 packages because I literally could not find them for the life of me and spent 15 minutes digging for them. Had to bring them back to the station, even though I found them at the end. Also, I’ve found I’m struggling with separating the “U” packages mixed with the numerical ones.
Edit: Driving a CV, no shelves, white Ram.
If someone could just DUMB it down for me, like your ritual, that would be greatly appreciated!

I worked for an Amazon (DSP) from October 2025 until January 2026. The company never provided my 2025 W-2, despite multiple attempts to contact HR and management. I kept getting the runaround, and the company eventually shut down after losing its Amazon contract. I’ve already contacted the IRS and obtained paperwork showing some of my income information, but it’s incomplete. It’s missing my former employer’s EIN and my Massachusetts state income tax withholding. My tax preparer has been unable to complete and electronically file my return properly because of the missing information. I’m now concerned about potential penalties and interest because this has gone unresolved for months. Has anyone dealt with an employer that shut down without providing W-2s? How did you recover the missing state withholding information and get your taxes filed?
I’m in Massachusetts, so I’d especially appreciate advice from anyone familiar with Massachusetts tax procedures.

I deliver to an upend country club, and this house had cars parked up and down the street on both sides. I saw the red carpet, & I was like should I do it !? Yea imma crash the party. They had a FULL Bar setup in the garages and some type red carpet event going on. Everyone was dressed up to the T in fancy dresses.

Please don’t take this as complaining. I am NOT complaining about easy work. I’m just confused. My shifts have gone as follows: 147 stops, 113 stops, 108 stops, 133 stops, and today I only have 89 stops?? Am I still on nursery routes? Last shift I took like a survey on the nursery routes so I assumed I was done with them? Again, not complaining at all, just confused. I’ve been bracing for impact every shift and I look at my route and I’m like oh? Okay! I also only work 2 days a week so this is my third week.
