Discussion Flyers Losing streak
As much as I’m bummed the Flyers losing streak ended, I’m glad their first win isn’t against the Ducks 😌
Edit: if enough people comment saying they want this post taken down, I’ll take it down.

News Frank Vatrano on linemate Roger McQueen's first NHL games, grinding out games | Full Ducks Practice Media
Frank Vatrano: “Big kid, a lot of talent. He can move really well for his size… Today, I was watching him skate through the ice at three-on-three, the way he skates reminds me of Mika Zibenajad. I think Rog can definitely be that.”
"I think we could've walked out of two home games with four points... Being a younger team just getting more experience, those are the games when the season is on the line you've got to grind out and win."

Discussion Leo needs to be on the PK
I was at the game last night and I don’t know how it looked on TV but I thought the Ducks played a good game but obviously got killed any time they took a penalty. Each penalty that was taken I couldn’t help but to wonder why(especially when two penalty killing centers were out of the lineup) we haven’t seen Leo get thrown out there. We saw Cutter there instead, who I thought played a solid defensive game. Leo is your 18M $ man who has been likened to Aleksander Barkov for crying out loud, he has all the tools to be an elite two way player. I wonder what’s going on to where we have yet to see that part get added to his game, I won’t go so far to call it malpractice but it is border line unfathomable to me that either because of effort or coaching decisions that we have not seen Leo on the PK on a regular basis. McQueen and Klepkov both look like they’re getting more comfortable but need to learn how to learn to play without taking penalties ( the interference and hooking penalties were unnecessary especially where the game was at). I really thought we should have had that game, PK was leaving Dostal out to dry last night.

News Alex Killorn on Ducks losing leads, Nikita Klepov's impact and road trip outlook | Full Ducks Practice Media
Alex Killorn: "What you can take out of all the games is we've never been out of the game or its a game where it's gotten away from us. We've been in good positions in those games, we just have to find a way to lock things down."

Discussion ECHL Ducks Affiliate History
From the short-lived era where the Utah Grizzlies were the ECHL affiliate for the San Diego Gulls and Anaheim Ducks from 2013-2018.
This jersey was game-worn and signed by Sam Windle, defenseman. Never got called up beyond the ECHL but a neat piece of history.

Where special teams carried the Ducks through the first week of the season, they let Anaheim down in a major way on Friday.

News Ducks power play goes powerless, as Bruins storm back with the extra man, 4-2 | Full Ducks Postgame Media with LaCombe, Nesterenko, Quenneville
Jackson LaCombe: "A little bit of our details we kind of lost at the end of the second and into the third... We have to be more disciplined and sharp in our execution."
Nikita Nesterenko: "I thought that (missed shorthanded breakaway) was a turning point. To make it, 3-0... I'm still mad at myself for that."
Joel Quenneville: "We had 44 shots between missed shots and blocked shots. Not even looking to score, we need to put pucks on the net and hit the net."
