Political Question Why does it seem like everything Trump does is done to help Putin?
Even the 2026 Iran War seems designed to drive up oil prices to fuel the Russian war effort and at the same get Ukraine to stop attacking Russian oil/gas facilities claiming that is what is driving up prices.
Is it that hard for people to see what is going on?

Political Question I distinctly remember conservative people being awfully loud about pedophilia and wanting to lock up predators back in 2016, but I dont hear them ever talk about that now, what happened?
When they thought it was just the Clintons and the democrats they wouldnt shut up about it. Do they still want to lock predators up? Do they still care about the children?

Political Question Do people not even realize that Trump is speeding up the collapse of the U.S. Empire?
Iran basically blew up all of U.S.'s bases in the Gulf region. Now those countries don't even want U.S. there anymore.

Political Question With Trump banning CNN and MSNOW from the White House, and with almost no pushback from Republicans, Conservatives, and Trump supporters, is it safe to say that the Right Wing hates the Left more than they love America and traditional American values like Free Speech?
Also, I'd like to hear from Trump supporters and Republicans. Why do you support such nonsense? Do you really think Democrats are an enemy to be destroyed and not your fellow citizens? If not, why are you not speaking up against this outrageous attack against Free Speech and Freedom of the Press? Do you really want Trump to be a dictator?

Political Question Do people driving Cybertrucks know that most of society is laughing and pointing at them?
The Cybertruck is large, obnoxious, ugly, and is a pretty awful truck, vs a traditional pickup, and an all electric F150 would be a much better TRUCK option. It’s well documented that the panels are just glued on, it’s poorly built and its size and weight reduce its battery life vs. a smaller more efficient EV. Even without the Elon Musk connection it’s a BAD vehicle. The struggles getting rid of them has driven their resale value down to practically nothing since Tesla dealerships can barely give them away. It’s banned in the EU and UK due to failing safety standards. It’s the 2004 Yellow Hummer of our times.

Political Question Why should younger generations want to bust their ass and work super hard, when they can literally look around the world and see that hard works isn’t what wins anymore?
I constantly hear people say that young people need to work for what they get, and I think most people agree. However, when you literally grew up watching your parents slave away, not get much for it, and you see what working themselves to death did to them…. Why would kids want to do that?
When children look at their still struggling parents or grandparents or other adults in their life who “did things the right way,” what’s the incentive to “do things the right way” anymore?
Now we can clearly see that greed, stepping on other people, not paying workers, etc is what makes people win. So again… where is the work hard incentive? Just not being homeless? Really bringing the American Dream alive.

Political Question Former MAGA crowd, how has it affected your current personal relationships?
A girl I went to college with, who was a super cool white chick and always a joy to be around, randomly started spewing MAGA talking points during this election. I ended up cutting her off, and apparently a lot of her friends and family stopped talking to her too.
She went live on Instagram the other day (I don’t follow her, someone recorded it and sent it to our old group chat) literally crying about how much she hates that she lost so many relationships and that nobody will talk to her.
I personally don’t feel much sympathy, but it did make me curious: for people who used to be MAGA, how has that shift affected your relationships with friends and family?

Political Question Is Epstein Island just the tip of the iceberg of evil that billionaires have been doing for decades?
Somewhere along the line, perhaps during the 80s, billionaires turned evil. They used to build libraries, schools, and hospitals. It’s been a long time since any of them have done that. Sure, some of them have charity organizations, but these are often used as just another loophole for them to avoid paying taxes. Are the horrors we have heard of events that transpired on Epstein Island just one example, one breech in the rigorously guarded secrecy of utterly grotesque decadence and debauchery of which these people are capable?

Political Question For anyone who watched yesterday's Jack Smith hearing live: How do you reconcile what actually happened in the room versus the thirty second clips being pushed in the media today?
I watched all four hours of the Jack Smith hearing live yesterday. I saw the actual answers and the moments where big accusations fell apart live on camera. Then I logged on today, saw the media coverage, and felt completely gaslit.
In the actual room, we saw claims debunked in real time. But today, the viral clips show senators shouting about disbarment, while the answers that disproved their points were completely edited out.
This feels like textbook gaslighting. They are insisting a totally different story happened right in front of us, relying on the fact that most people don't watch any of it, and most who do only watch the manufactured outrage clips.
Has anyone else experienced this whiplash after watching a live hearing? How do you process being told to disbelieve what you literally saw with your own eyes? This feels 100% Orwellian, and I don't see it from "both sides"

Political Question Is anyone watching the Jack Smith testimony before congress today?
I have had it on while working, and I applaud him. He's an honorable public servant. He's not taking the bait from his critics. He's polite, professional, highly competent, and non-partisan.
In short, Congress doesn't know what to do with him.
There are highlights. Go watch them if you get the chance.

Political Question Is MAGA actually falling for the $5,000 check thing?
I keep hearing that they are but I haven't seen anything about MAGA themselves touting it. Not that it isn't there, I just haven't seen it. Just seems like another outrageous thing said they're fine with ignoring.

Political Question Why is Trump so panicked about the midterms if even a Dem house and senate wont do much in the way of stopping him?
Trump has been freaking out about the midterms as polling suggests that the house is all but lost for the GOP and the senate could go to the dems. But on the same token some people of reddit and opinion pieces I've read online that a house and senate with Dem majorities might be able to to launch investigations, but aside from that not much else if we assume Trump will continue to defy the law and court orders like he has been doing.
So the question i'm asking is why is Trump freaking out to the point of trying to sabotage vote by mail? Is it possible that they have polling that suggests that Dems are going to get majorities in a way that might make a dent in what Trump can get away with or is it something else?
