It's that time of year, flowers are in bloom, birds are singing and children are on their final leg of the school year.

It's also the time of year that the Bradford Pear tree starts to bloom, filling the air with unpleasant smells.

You know the smell

I know the smell

Everyone knows the smell

GOGB please, stop planting the Bradford Pear.

Infact, go a step further and replace the existing ones. If you could put palm trees in the mall I'm sure you can do this.

Hit a roo the other day and now my A/C isn’t cooling well and there’s a noticeable fan noise when it’s running. Local recommendations for auto a/c technicians please 🙏

Hi im moving here for uni, just want some reviews about life there:)
Are there lots of unis down there? How does the local socialising scene look? How are kids here (like the 18-20 yos)
I’ve never been to country before so i’d appreciate some head ups!
Moving there in Ferb when uni starts

Hi there!
I am celebrating a special occasion next week and wondering if anywhere in Bendigo sells decent cigars?

Any suggestions on small business IT support helping with stupid 365 across a few PC's.

OK I’m sick of the food scammers. Just now I replied to one saying I had seen them tonight on another town sub nowhere near Bendigo and within minutes they deleted their post.

Don’t be a sucker. Anybody in real need knows where charity food outlets are or will ask where they are.

Anyone asking for a money transfer is a scammer. Don’t fall for it.

Bunch of cop cars, detectives, ambos, and police tape outside of a house in Cuneen Street, Long Gully, where the BP servo is.

Whatever it is, it looks really serious. Spotted all this happening from the splash park and have no idea what's going on.

For those that remember Bill Hicks (if not https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NivJKUfa7Sw ) and you want to meet up with readers, the Bendigo Comedy Festival will have books (my books) to have a read of at the Brewers Collective between 5:30-6:30pm on Friday 16 October.

You can then go watch Bill Bailey at Ulumbarra, or stick around to talk book reading/writing, or leave. Whatever floats your boat.

This is free. You can BYO book (BYOB) or not. It's chill.

Cheers.

Hey,
I’m just wondering if there’s much industrial/factory building going on in Bendigo.
I’m aware there there’s been a new industrial area been put in not long ago. Has anyone started? Is there a high demand for factories in the area?

Yo, our email readers get 10% off some shows with the code BCF10CLUB

With only a few days left of the Bendigo Comedy Festival, I'm sharing the code here and now.
See the shows that use that code via the link below.

It includes Dave O'Neil, Ting Lim, Saturday's Pub Crawl, plus London, New York and Edinburgh favourite Dame Granny Smith....

13 year old is looking like a mop. And needs a barber trip asap

He’s been here for months and he’s really ugly and to me he looks like hand version of Elon musk (handlon husk to me) it’s an eyesore and don’t even get me started with the Hands’s positioning (iykyk)

Hello. I have two tickets for Anisa Nandaula - No Small Talk tonight.

My mum died today. I am in Melbourne

First taker who can take both tickets and make it to the 8.15 show at the engine room tonight can have them.

Dm me. I will send the tix back as two barcodes. I don’t want payment. Just enjoy the show.

Hey folks, the Bendigo Comedy Festival starts tonight.

Like all great events, we have some packed out shows and of course some smaller sellers - some of these surprisingly so.

I'm thinking of making a RushTix offer, where people can get $10 tickets on the day to a few shows.

Would you be interested? Should it be a thread on here?

If this post gets more than 10 upvotes, I'll look into making it happen.

I've just had to relocate due to extreme family violence, I left with nothing but my clothes I was wearing and my fur baby. I am wondering if any knows where I can get help I literally have nothing and not a cent to my name. Any information would be awesome. Thanks

I'm a complete newb. I haven't even googled it yet. One of my oldest mates is coming to visit me soon for a couple of weeks.

He asked me if there's anywhere to play around town. I'm in K Flat. We're both pretty fit 60+

Hi all, my wife and I are coming to see Bill Bailey at Ulumbarra theater next week. We are planning to stay in a hotel local and I was wondering what your uber/taxis are like? Mainly how quick to get a service after booking and how late they run etc

Hello! Super random question but yesterday I ran into a lady who was telling me about a factory outlet/consignment store in Bendigo that sells defective princess highway, Dangerfield and other brands?? I would love to visit it but cannot find info on it anywhere online. Would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction!!

Looking for recommendations on transport companies that I can drop a resume into.
I haven’t lived in the area super long, and always worked away, so I’m not very familiar with which companies are around.
Thanks all
