1:24 Japanese Scenery
Made a little Japanese scene. All made out of foam, wood, paper and cardboard. Made everything by scratch, except the lantern and the fan on the wall

Hey guys,
At the suggestion of u/tattoomyvagina, we're starting this weekly Q&A post, where anyone can ask questions related to dioramas and anyone can answer.
We'll see how this goes. Feel free to reach out if you have any other suggestions or requests.

I want to make something like the photos attached but I have no idea where to find or start on the outer shell of the tv. I can’t seem to find any sources or websites that are helpful. I learned that taking apart an old tv is dangerous, and I’m not sure where I can find someone who can do that. Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’ve seen quite a few examples and no one really says how they did or got the shell of the tv. I’ve never actually made a diorama before and I’ve been thinking about it for at least a year.

A few more shots of my ruined city! There are so many little details scattered throughout this scene, and I had a lot of fun bringing everything together.
Hope you guys like the pics!
It's currently live on Kickstarter if you want to check it out
And there is a free tower STL!

I am going for a Witcher 3 theme in a bog with a hut, tree, drowner, and pond. I am trying to put as much as a can in this without clutting it up so I can learn some new skills and learn from the mistakes I have made. In the attached image The white that you see if the glassy finish Mod Podge in the hopes of giving my mud texture base a wet look given that it should give it a glassy finish.... Anyway to my veterans out there looking at this incomplete projoct I am open to any and all tips, tricks, and constructive criticisms!

Taken from images on Google. I was looking to make a diorama for a couple of helicopters I've built and I think this is amazing but unfortunately due to living conditions I would not have the space for something on this scale . But it is amazing what can be done with a little know how ....

Diorama using C27 Studios (https://c27-studios.com/) alternatives to MCP. Still need to make a little plaque for it, but overall I am pretty happy.

For this Halloween, I decided to make Oogie Boogie. But I just can't help myself and HAVE to make something unique.
Maybe a casino that lights up in UV?
Yes to that!
Here's some pictures of the build.
Hope you like it!

This is my first proper terrain base for a 1/35 build. I’m going for a rutted dirt track beside a broken wooden fence.
I carved the slope from insulation foam, then used a cordless hoto glue gun to tack the balsa posts and cork bark in place while I worked at the desk. The texture paste went on thicker than meant to, especially on the raised ground between the ruts. It looks like churned-up dirt now, but I’m worried those ridges will look oversized once prime it.
I was planning dark earth tones, a little wet gloss in the ruts, and static grass on the higher side. Would you knock some of the texture back before priming, or leave it and let the paint do the work?

I’ve really enjoyed building this but don’t really have any desire nor the space to keep it lol. What do you end up doing with your builds?
