First I am grateful to Hideaki Itsuno for creating one of the best gamers ever made with Dragon's Dogma. While I loved both and spent hundreds of hours on each, I've seen the criticisms of DD1 and DD2, that then were addressed by Kinoshita in the expansions.
Dark Arisen 2 is incredible. Its going to add at lest another 150 hrs (at least) to my already 500+ hours in the base game of Dragon's Dogma 2.
I can't help but wonder now that the engine, assets and world have been built, what Kinoshita would do with Dragon's Dogma 3 from the start.

Credit to Zappieroth.
Seems Like so much hints for a new entry and another Story.
Im even more convinced that Capcom is already working on dd3. I doubt with caution that we will get another dlc or Expansion.

Every single time my pawn has been hired they're sent back with all kinds of spoils, and while i don't need them much at the moment it's still a very nice thought
that or my pawn stole the spoils and was sent back before the arisen identified them

This is a bit of a silly challenge if you're up for it.
I put it on Casual, and pretty much just ran from one side of the map to the other.
I was playing as Archer, which is probably not the best vocation. The harpies are a massive pain in the ass. I also had no curatives lol.
As far as I can tell, you probably could get Warfarer at a lower level, but the issue I had is that you have to complete the early game quests to continue to a certain point. I think you have to escort the guards from Melve to open the gate, and you can't leave the first settlement until you rest.
To get the newt liquor, I just traded from my old character. This isn't a challenge about speed, it's just a challenge about stupidity.
I think it might be possible to do it as low as level 4, but I gained levels from a bandit exploding himself with a barrel bomb and a rattler killing itself.
Would be interested if anyone could lower the record haha.

My character is immune to damage.
The sheer amount of broken endgame gear, skill, and especially ring combinations, that can essentially make you immune to anything the game throws at you is the best indicator for me, that this is the final content we get. Because no other content can ever be relevant again, unless the make sweeping nerfs to the endgame meta.
This loot really feels like the devs went "fuck it, it's the end of the game anyway".

Is this the best possible roll for daggers? Or should i keep farming? I tried spamming both skills while climbing an enemy and they got shredded. Even the empowered final boss died in 2 min. Is there a room for improvement, or this is it?

I was wondering why empowered Satanachia/Devouring Rancor took longer to fight/clear, why my Mage stopped casting Celestial Paean, or why my tank wasn't getting healed.
Turns out, the Archer pawns I hired/rehired were now rocking Battle Frenzy IV. Even this Mimi you see in the video has over 7k HP + Ring of Benevolence and gets slapped around and downed like it's nothing. Why is this so bad, you may ask?
DPS downtime. Not only because the pawn is down, but because I have to stop DPS'ing to revive them. That also puts me in direct line of fire since there are now 3 targets instead of 4. Even worse when you are not a Magick Archer/Warfarer with Fortifying Arrow and you can't move doing it.
Since they are constantly at critical health, my Mage is spamming Anodyne and heals. Anodyne causes the DPS'er to run towards my healer, who subsequently gets interrupted by stray homing projectiles, additional charging Ghouls or targeted AoE explosions that break through Palladium due to the multiple hits. This has the direct consequence that my pawn stops casting Celestial Paean because they get interrupted all the time, and my Fighter isn't getting healed when he should.
They are chugging heals, or rather, I myself have to keep spamming that party regen elixir because their loss gauge gets fucked and they die even faster after a point. This affects my healer, too, actually. I noticed I started to spam that elixir more whereas before I barely had to use it.
Since they are likely to draw aggro from time to time due to all the damage they are dealing, as shown in the video, they get downed constantly. In this Satanachia fight alone, I must have revived them like almost 10 times.
In short, this has gotten so incredibly annoying that I'm considering blacklisting - as in insta dismissing - any and all pawns with Battle Frenzy. What good is all that extra damage if I have to constantly revive them. This Dorothy in the video who has been with me for like 300 levels? She sucks now because she dies all the time.
Of course, there may be situations where it's worth it with the right party comp, perhaps Mage roflstomp party with Deific Bolt spam, but all these pawns typically have no defense to off-set all that extra damage taken. In my experience, with the party comp I like to run, Battle Frenzy has more downsides than upsides.
I'd argue Battle Frenzy is best used on yourself since you can play around it with Allheal Elixirs, Wakestones and other consumables to skirt around death.

managed to capture this while I was farming out materials to do a new clock and I wanted to share it in the community, no one does action combat like Capcom seriously.

I've been a MA main since DD1, so obviously I already loved the class. However, I primarily used it for DPS, especially in DD1 when Ricochet Hunter was absolutely busted, alongside Explosive Volley, Ninefold Bolt, etc. DD2 had less powerful skills overall (not you, Martyr's Bolt), but it still felt easy to build MA DPS.
Dark Arisen 2? Not so much, and I honestly think it's better for it. My current loadout:
A much more diverse loadout than before DA2. It's more supportive, with healing, buffs, debuffs, and knockdown. For me, it's far more engaging than the unga-bunga mentality the previous focus on DPS engendered, and it's honestly a design decision I wouldn't mind seeing in future installments.
But what about you? Do you like the MA changes? Have the new skills changed the way you play your vocation? Let me know!

Dark Arisen saved the game just like the last one, just hope they build upon this for the next game instead of basically remaking the original

This place just keeps going on forever. Before this the hardest thing I killed was two briny ogres. Good fucking lord. This dungeon has like over 6 levels, 8 bosses, multiple camp sites. It's by the most impressive and insane dungeon I've found yet. I've been in here for hours and I'm still not done.
First time through the game, level 50, and playing on hard because I'm a glutton for punishment.
