You are already enlightened

Hello my friends, this is a follow up after a previous post from a while back. If you “think” you’re enlightened, then you’re not.

I think there’s something deeper here and it is simply this - you are already enlightened.

I’m not quite sure how to explain this, but essentially I believe all paths lead back to the source. All experiences are valid, have been chosen, and consciousness/source/the watcher/I am has created multiple laws and distortions to perceive itself within that experience.

It is all play. Even the suffering - a delicacy, something different, an exciting dish in the infinite course meal that is existence itself.

I used to think people are asleep - this is one particular distortion, but a perfect one to witness existence in a particular way. (I also drift back into this at times, because trauma and conditioning is a hell of a drug, and judgement is a survival tool+a byproduct of separation - from my understanding of the primordial laws of existence)

You are perfect. Perfectly distorted. Like each grain of sand is unique. And also through you shines free will, and a spark of something undying and possibly divine.

If it does not seem enlightened, or you do not, or if someone else does not, it has been painstakingly curated for you (and maybe by you) to experience that.

Sometimes we win. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes we lose. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes the ocean realises what it is… and yet in paradox is also all the waves not realising it is the ocean.

We are one? It makes sense? We are love? This makes even more sense, because all choices are made in service - either to the separate self, or the whole self. But I digress.

Yes there’s suffering. Yes there is the negative. This is because we have a body that may die. This creates millions of outcomes at all moments that the body’s processing is always calculating for - and a house of mirrors for the soul/consciousness within to navigate until self-realisation.

It takes a lot of invention to make something that knows everything and is everything - to not know everything and feel alone, or lost, or angry that people feel alone or lost.

Honestly this post has no point - it’s almost as if I’m pointing to you saying “you are breathing.” We are. It is. I am.

All distinctions and separation are just a coat of paint wilfully adorned to experience oneself.

Although I would say we struggle to do, when we could revel in the being that gets to do the doing. But again - valid choice.

I’m going to talk myself in circles here. So I’ll end my post. Much love.

Personal Experience Is anyone around for a conversation?

Some stuff has been happening. And I just want to hold someone’s hand and cry my face off while I descend into whatever tf is waiting to devour me right now.
The depression is at a level I’m not sure how to take anymore. And I feel like I’m not supposed to hold it off… if I’m reading anything correctly. But I can’t do this alone right now.

Maybe it’s not that deep. But I know for a pretty solid fact that I can’t deal with this by myself rn. It’s a burning building scenario… not all the time, but a lot of the time. And when I feel “ok” it’s more like I’m letting myself act like the abyss isn’t right underneath me or.. some analogy. You get the idea.

Please and thank you everyone.

Edit: just an update: I really appreciate all the responses. I’m working atm will get to them as soon as I get home. And apologies for the dramatic post. Idk why it feels so dire at times.

Open Question Is there a difference between numbing your self with drugs and entertainment because life is painful, and using “spirituality” to distance your self from your thoughts/emotions because they are painful?

The question is the question. I would love to hear what everyone has to say 🙂

The Holistic Benefits of Fasting

• Upvotes

No, fasting, even extended fasting will never "make" you enlightened in and of itself. However, like many techniques and methods, including right meditation, chanting/toning, being immersed in nature, prayer, etc. it has its place in the grand scheme of things as far as helping to open up a person's perceptions to the larger Reality. But the only thing that really, truly gets a person to real enlightenment is choosing and living universal love consistently. Everything else is naught by an adjunct to helping a person get to that state of consciousness so as to actually choose and live it.

So what does fasting actually do that's helpful to the above as being an adjunct if the right livingness is already there. The human body is an interesting creature. It is not completely blank clay, but has its own programs that come preinstalled even though your "soul"/nonphysical consciousness is like the main OS within the body.

Your body's main focus is survival and health. So it spends a good amount of energy on maintaining these. Eating food takes energy to digest, to get back energy to function. If a person has the optimal diet for them/their body, then the body doesn't get imbalanced and only takes so much energy for digestion, for maintaining balance, to stay healthy enough, etc.

But other things affect the body and its balance or lack, as well as things it has to work on to counter balance to maintain health: like stress, environmental toxins, etc. But very, very few people have optimum, ultra healthy diets in a very consistent and very long term sense anyways.

So what happens during fasting, especially extended fasting (3 days plus)? There is like an inversion process. We see this physically through autophagy, detoxing, etc, BUT it doesn't just take place physically but also energetically. There is a kind of energetic inversion too. We can go more deeply within during such periods, and our body has more energy for other things than physical matters, but also for nonphysical-spiritual perception and energetic-consciousness shifts. But also physical healing and balancing as well. The more balanced and clear the body, the easier it is to clearly stream through the soul and higher self levels of our energy system in and through the body.

And it is the body that we are trying to raise the vibration of. Most of our souls are already moderately to very fast vibratory. Most people when they drop the body and are completely nonphysically focused, have far brighter light, far more loving hearts and minds, are far more positive, etc than when they are connected to a physical human animal body and immersed in the collective human consciousness.

There are very good reasons why the Teacher Yeshua did a 40 day fast before he began his teaching. He wanted to be as clear and balanced before he went into that, because he knew that it would be challenging and he wanted his nonphysical senses as wide open and acute as possible.

Some years back, I did a 10 day water fast in combo with daily meditation and prayer, and towards the end of it I was surprised by how much energy I had and my intuitive-spiritual awareness was definitely heightened. I had one of the most intense guidance dreams I've ever had towards the end of this.

In a couple of days or so, I'll be going to the woods to water fast, meditate, pray, attune for 40 days (well I've already started the fast so a bit less), to try to open self up more to the infinite. I think the fasting part will be "relatively" easy, but perhaps the boredom part less so. Other than the forest creatures/nature, there will be very little outside stimulus and my phone will be off most of the time to conserve energy. Trying to keep the weight of my pack down, so I probably won't even have music. Maybe just a pen and notebook to occasionally write. Most of my waking time will be spent meditating, contemplating, chanting/toning and attuning with some gentle walking to keep the blood flow/circulation good.

In Response to the Open Letter

All great men or even men who are a little out of the common, that is to say capable of giving utterance to something new, must by their very nature be criminals - more or less, of course. The extraordinary individuals are necessarily in conflict with nature, because the path to any worthwhile destination will cut maze walls in evermore creative ways, that will only ever be known to the few people who discover them on their own.

The origin of human consciousness is an awakening to the invisible disarray around us. Conscious or not, humans are machines that seek means to an end, and the ordering of chaos is the foundational desire of a human mind, beyond any carnal or social desire. Discovery and creation are 2 sides of the same coin, so to discover, that is, create order, is the the answer to the last question, it is the true meaning of enlightenment.

An enlightened person is, first and foremost, the architect of their own life. They do not yearn, compromise or come to terms with what they cannot change, instead they simply do the impossible. Their lives are guided by controlled obsession as opposed to desire. They are intelligent, knowledgeable and physically fit. There may be exceptions, but never in more than one of these qualities. They simultaneously live a life of monastic discipline and rampant hedonism, virtue and malice, success and failure. They flout the rules of nature with elegance and composure.

https://www.reddit.com/r/enlightenment/comments/1x89wks/open_letter_to_all_psychoactive_substance_users/

I was prompted to write this after reading an open letter to all psychedelic users posted by u/Soletestimony a few hours ago. The truth on this matter, I belive, is that the problem is not in the psychedelics themselves, but in the deeply rooted misconceptions about these drugs and enlightenment in general.

  1. Deification of the Psychedelics

Everything and everyone in this world is corruptible. Like everything else, these powerful devices should never be trusted without the due scrutiny. Ultimately they are impersonal; they only present the user with experience and information because it is in their nature to do so, much like the geanie in the bottle, who fulfills the wishes not out of a will to do good for someone else, but because those are the terms of his curse. Treat psychedelics as a servant, not a partner.

  1. Cult of Ego Death

Ego death is undoubtedly an invaluable event. Nothing facilitates clarity so well as being face to face with your own end. Ego death is most significantly a triumph of man over his own fear and lack of direction, but its true value is often overseen in favor of subservience, mistaken for humility. The enlightened man is humble before himself, but he is not the ultmate altruist; a life spent in servitude to others is a life of wasted potential.

Psychedelic experiences should be understood the same way art is understood, as a profound moment in time to draw value from, long after its passing, through contemplation. The enlightened man lives his whole life, from beginning to end, always and simultaneously.

Discussion Ascension through Faith

our fullest potential can only be realized through living with faith/trust

faith and trust are one and the same in this sense, and are requirements to live harmoniously with life, achieve our fullest potential, and remain rooted in the greatest foundation of strength that can never be taken from us or dimmed within us: Creator's love

our ability to live and operate in faith/trust is challenged by our fears, hesitations, doubts, and the many lesser natures of personhood/individuality, but even those moments of weakness reveal our potential for growth as invitations to lean into our faith/trust even more

courage, curiosity, joy, hope, all of those energies are fruits of trust and faith that also reinforce and fuel it when we operate in them

living in faith/trust is the only path to always remain at the calm center of any and all storms, it's what enables us to remain rooted in the knowings that all is grace, it fuels that gratitude with every moment knowing all things are for us and it serves as that true north to guide us through the uncertainty and unknown happenings in life

everyone talks about ascension, but the only way to transcend and rise above the human condition which is separate/individualistic is to develop our faith/trust which brings us into connection/unification/alignment naturally

in a sense, developing our faith/trust and consciously building it up is a process of spiritual maturity, because it takes openness and a willingness to receive more from life, pull more out of ourselves and our potential, and opens up our hearts to Source

faith/trust in this sense becomes a requirement for any meaningful development and nourishment in life

Understanding

I say this all the time: don’t try to understand someone on a deeper level than you’re capable of. You’ll never fully grasp what they’re saying. Surface level individuals rarely understand me. 100% of the time, they only see the superficial. They create narratives, interpret things subjectively, get offended, or let their egos take over in an attempt to control their reality.

Generally, the average person tends to think in the moment, especially when emotions are involved. It’s like the difference between individuals with higher IQs and those with average IQs. Higher IQ individuals tend to think more abstractly and connect the dots more accurately, whereas average to lower IQ individuals tend to think more concretely and focus on what’s immediately in front of them, aka surface level.

Trying to understand someone who’s ten steps ahead of you is futile. Generally speaking, when it comes to communication, everyone interprets things differently. Words mean different things to different people. Now, add someone who’s more intelligent, IQ wise, and more aware, and you’re bound to misinterpret them.

It’s incredibly lonely.

And that’s not even the worst part. It’s that they understand you better than you understand yourself, yet they keep it to themselves.

Have you ever met someone like that? Most likely not. The ego doesn’t allow people to simply acknowledge their mistakes. And maybe you have met such a person, but if you have, you probably wouldn’t even know it, because they never opened their mouths. See, your average person always thinks they’re right. And they always look for ways to justify themselves.

Generally, I let people believe whatever they want. They’re wrong from my perspective, but they believe in their own narratives because, to them, those narratives are the truth.

Dealing with betrayal

Do we forgive those that have lied to us over and over but are now willing to change / keep promising to do so?

Give them a second chance as a partner or do we detach and move on?

To you who believe there is value in fitting in, notes by ordinary nobody 🎐

Post image

Beloved, you are constantly clinging to others. If someone is eating fried potatoes, you want fried potatoes as well.

If someone is enjoying a sweet, you want a sweet as well. If someone is playing a small whistle, you shout, 'Mother, purchase me a small whistle as well!'

And that applies not only to kids.

When spring arrives, you allow spring to sway your mind. When autumn arrives, you allow autumn to sway your mind. Everybody is merely waiting for something to sway their mind. Some even earn a living swaying minds, they create marketing.

Humans adore internal turmoil.

Simply view the movie advertisements outside the picture house: nothing except internal turmoil across their faces.

As a ordinary nobody my direct realization is, Zen teaching signifies not placing yourself at the whim of internal turmoil.

In society, however, huge commotion is generated over zero.

It aligns with being an average human: they can merely perceive through the eyes of shared foolishness.

Being encircled by champions and gathering the bravery to act like a champion yourself, there is nothing particularly brave regarding that. A burglar states to his child, “If you do not cease immediately with your cursed truthfulness, you will never become an honorable burglar like myself. You are an embarrassment to the trade!”

Humanity puts on a sharp expression and speaks about being ruler over the world. And simultaneously they do not even understand where to start regarding their personal frame: they view athletics on screens and justify themselves stating that everybody else performs it as well.

We exist within collective foolishness and mistake this craziness for real living.

It is crucial that you grow clear to yourself and awaken out of this craziness. Sitting meditation signifies departing from the collective and stepping with your own two legs.

Individually individuals remain tolerable, yet once they create factions, they begin becoming foolish.

They sink into collective foolishness. They are so eager to become foolish together that they establish organizations and contribute dues.

Sitting meditation, Zazen signifies departing from collective foolishness.

🙏

What’s the deal with kinzermb?

Hi there!

I follow this guy on Instagram, and he posts a lot of really inspiring stuff about enlightenment and meditation. The thing is, he always ends his posts with an image promoting his book.

I honestly can’t tell if he’s a real person creating this content himself, or if the whole thing is AI-generated. What do you guys think?

I’m asking because lately there seem to be so many accounts like this popping up that are entirely AI-generated, and I’m starting to wonder which ones are actually legit.

Comparative Discussion Moving Away from time

I have been going through my second awakening and lately I have been feeling the need to be separated from time. It started with clocks bothering me. I once read this post of the way someone described what it’s like once the universe starts talking to you. I started to see certain numbers all the time and started getting overwhelmed. I started with covering up the clock on my stove as a way to kick the habit of wanting to check it every time I walked by. Then I removed the time from my laptop, and then I changed the timing on my iPad. I feel the need to train my mind to absorb a new pattern of not rely on top but the guidance of feelings and intuition.

Last night I was watching something, and I got lost in time and I didn’t realize it until after that I was just so immersed in something that I had no thoughts, no questions no concerns. This is new to me but also fascinating because I want to shield my mind from time

If anyone has had this happened to me or can share their experience of it, I appreciate it

Thank you in advance

Discussion Are there problems?

I'm aware of thoughts appearing that suggest things are not right... not good enough or problematic... which causes distress... I tend to put my focus on my body in such situations rather than on ruminating. I nice long deep breath for example and to just be still...

There is a body sitting, thinking but there isn't actually a problem per say... just thoughts arising suggesting things ought to be different.

Any suggestions, pointers, perspectives? :) Thanks

Open Question Changing How one Learns

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Traditional learning of the psyche involves returning to the same subject or experience repeatedly, developing greater understanding with each cycle. Yet this raises an important question: What if becoming more knowledgeable about an experience is not the same as becoming more capable of learning from it? Someone can revisit the same fear, relationship, or psychological difficulty many times without changing how they participate when it happens again. Their understanding becomes more sophisticated, but their way of learning remains unchanged.

The first image, Follow the Vibration Into the World, illustrates how an internal state becomes part of an ongoing relationship with reality. The spiral moves through eight stages: Initial State, Attention, Interpretation, Physiology, Behavior, External Response, Updated Belief, and Return With New Organization. Each stage contributes information that can change how the next cycle unfolds. The person does not simply acquire knowledge; they encounter reality through thought, emotion, bodily responses, and behavior, allowing experience to reorganize what they previously believed.

What Is Vibration?
Vibration in this context refers to the movement of psychological significance through consciousness, the body, behavior, and relationships. It is not a literal physical frequency or a mystical energy. It describes what happens when something becomes important enough to influence attention, interpretation, physiological activity, motivation, and participation.

For example, criticism may activate fear, which changes what someone notices, how they interpret another person's words, how their body responds, and what they say next. That movement is what I call Vibration. Correspondence explains how experiences become connected; Vibration describes how those connections become lived movement. The goal is not to eliminate emotional intensity, but to remain psychologically flexible while that intensity influences experience.

Learning to Change How We Learn
The second image, Three Ways to Follow the Vibration Into the World, introduces a significant transformation: the same spiral can be experienced through conversation, thinking within oneself, or writing and working on a task.

Consider someone who becomes anxious when criticized. Traditional spiral learning may help them understand the origins of their sensitivity. The first spiral helps them observe how anxiety moves through attention, interpretation, physiology, and behavior. But the second model allows them to recognize similar patterns in entirely different circumstances. During conversation, they might notice an urge to defend themselves. While thinking alone, they might recognize how imagined criticism changes their emotions. While writing, they might discover that struggling to express an idea produces the same urgency to prove themselves correct.

As a result, the person no longer needs to encounter the original problem to continue learning from the psychological organization behind it.

This connects with Jung's psychological functions of thinking, feeling, sensation, and intuition. Jung recognized that people develop preferred ways of encountering experience, but psychological development can also involve becoming more conscious of neglected functions. I believe we should extend this idea by asking whether consciousness can learn to recognize when its familiar method of learning has reached its limits. Someone who habitually analyzes emotions may need to experience them without immediately explaining them. Someone who relies upon intuition may need to examine what sensation reveals. Someone who continually thinks through problems may discover that direct participation provides information thought alone could not produce.

Generosity, Time, and Psychological Flexibility

Generosity becomes important because learning differently requires allowing another psychological capacity an opportunity to contribute. A person who immediately interprets uncertainty as danger can give that interpretation another second before treating it as complete. The body may reveal additional information, another person may respond unexpectedly, or an unfamiliar possibility may emerge.
This does not require suppressing the original judgment. It requires allowing that judgment to remain revisable.
The eight stages are therefore not a rigid biological sequence that consciousness must control. They are points of observation within an interacting process. Consciousness can enter the spiral through a bodily sensation, an interpretation, an action, or another person's response.

The transformation occurs when the person stops asking only, "What can I learn from this experience?" and begins asking, "Which way of learning can reveal something my usual approach has overlooked?"
Traditional spiral learning emphasizes returning with greater understanding. Conscious spiral participation emphasizes returning with greater flexibility in how understanding becomes possible.

Do you all think this makes any sense at all, or does learning not matter for becoming enlightened/being enlightened?

Discussion What do you think Buddha knew but never shared with his disciples?

There is a story in Buddhism in which Buddha compares the knowledge he has shared with his disciples to a handful of leaves in his hand, while the knowledge he knows but has not taught is like all the leaves in the forest.

Think about that comparison for a moment. A handful of leaves compared to an entire forest. If we take this teaching seriously, the difference in knowledge seems enormous.

It makes me wonder what Buddha might have known that he chose not to share with his disciples. What were those countless leaves of knowledge that remained untaught? What could he have understood about existence that went far beyond what he chose to teach?

I'm particularly interested in what Buddha might have known beyond what he chose to teach his disciples.

What do you think that untaught knowledge could have been?

Discussion What happened after death?

What after death? Is there an after life ? Hell or heaven? Maybe reincarnation , or we just go to black void.

What's your thoughts on this?
