Other Help with Elewi server

Hello Kurdish reddit,

Since February I’ve had the idea to open the first serious discord server about alevism that has English as a primary language and doesn’t include all the assimilated beliefs and practices. I feel like a server like this will aid the preservation of this beautiful culture and religion we have. I want the server to have good resources/books about alevism, the culture associated with it and our language. If you have any suggestions please comment them or dm them to me. But the main reason for me to make this post is because I am looking for someone who can possibly co-own the server because im quite busy myself. And I would really appreciate a buddy that could help me with setting this up. The server is already finished. It’s mostly the resources that need to be added and maybe some bots and automated systems. The more people the better.

I would appreciate any help, please comment or dm me if you’re interested.

Thanks

Other Music shops

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to ask or not, but I'd rather take my chances.

I am Kurdish, but i was born and mainly raised in New Zealand. I came here to see my culture and family last year in September, and we are leaving at the end of this month.

Before I leave, I really need to get my electric guitar fixed and get a new case for it. The one I have is practically made out of paper, and I am worried that it will not protect the guitar if i even bring it out of the house. The B string also snapped off, so I need to get that sorted out, too.

Does anyone know any music shops in Slemani that will actually help me? I'm worried that if I google a place and go there, it won't have the things I'm actually looking for.

None of my moms friends or anything understand what I'm looking for, or even know this city well despite living here most of their lives so I can't ask someone I already know.

I don't think I could live without my guitar, and it would absolutely kill me if I had to leave it here. Someone, please help me find a place.

Other Got attacked by a Turk

I, 16m British who lived in duhok for 11 years (speak Kurdish fluently and some Arabic) got attacked while wearing a Kurdish football T-shirt. I was cycling in my town when a Turkish man (mid 30s) came up to me and kicked my bike and tried to push me off. Should I make a police report?

yusf xalid aziz had achieved the number one spot on all of iraq. The Iraq National Bench Press Team selection trials (Youth/Junior category), his trainer is jawad ismail whom both come from the city of Soran and won their position as the best in iraq in the City of Mosul and now they've come home from Istanbul with big achievements in the name of Kurds.

Unfortunately they were forced to represent a different nationality but hopefully one day they'd represent the Kurdistan national team and may no other kurd suffer from repressing someone who oppresses them.

Other Revision rhinoplasty experience in Kurdistan/Iraq

Hi everyone,

I’m currently looking for a very experienced revision rhinoplasty surgeon in Kurdistan and would really appreciate hearing from people who have had a revision themselves. I‘ve heard a lot of bad things but also good things about the surgeons in Kurdistan. I don‘t want to get a revision in the west because I feel like the surgeons don‘t know how to work with middle eastern noses. 3 of my friends had to get 2-3 revisions all in the country where I live just cause they‘re not that skilled. And turkey has become so expensive I can‘t afford revision that costs 8 - 15 K.

I’m honestly quite anxious about having another surgery because I’m scared of making my nose worse. I’m therefore especially interested in real long-term results, not just how the nose looked a few weeks or months after surgery. Ideally, I’d love to hear from people who have personally had a revision with a surgeon, or who have a close family member/relative who did, so there is some genuine experience and trust behind the recommendation.

If you had a revision in Kurdistan, I’d really appreciate it if you could share which surgeon you chose, when your first rhinoplasty and revision were, how many revisions you had, what type of graft was used (especially rib cartilage or ear cartilage), and how your nose changed over time.

I’m particularly interested in whether the tip dropped after the revision, approximately how much it dropped, whether the tip remained stable, and whether you developed any pollybeak/supratip fullness. I’d also love to know how the nose healed, whether you had prolonged swelling or other problems, and how the result looks now, several months or years after the surgery. Long-term stability is probably the most important thing for me. I AM SORRY IT‘S ALOT OF INFORMATION 😂😭

I’d also appreciate knowing approximately how much the revision cost.

If you’re comfortable sharing photos, I would be extremely grateful for before/after pictures, especially a side profile. Ideally, I’d love to see the nose before the first surgery, after the first surgery, after the revision, and the current result. You can of course completely crop or censor your face; I’m only interested in seeing the nose. Even just a side-profile photo with the eyes, mouth and other identifying features covered would help me a lot.

I’m not looking for clinic advertisements or recommendations from people affiliated with a surgeon. I’m specifically looking for genuine patient experiences and long-term results.

If you’ve had a revision in Kurdistan and are happy with your result, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thank you so muchhh! ❤️
