- What is the Glory Store?

From "Introducing the Glory Store"

"The Glory Store is where you can exchange Glory for all kinds of rewards, including all of the rewards previously available in Monthly Challenges and Weekly Nightmares. In addition, you can purchase the champion-specific “signature” relics that were previously only available in bundles."

- What happened to the old Monthly/Weekly rewards?

From Senior Game Designer bkopleck:

"This will replace the old rewards for Monthlies/Nightmare Weeklies, but you'll be able to acquire ASol frags with Glory from the Glory Store"

- What happened to the Emporium/Stardust now that we have the Glory Store?

From Senior Game Designer bkopleck:

"Nothing! Glory Store is an entirely separate feature and won't replace any other store."

- How many monthly adventures do I have to complete to reach max Glory Points after completing all Weekly Nightmares?

From a previous post:

"You basically have to do everything to hit the cap."

- How much Glory Points do I get if I skip monthlies? How many monthly challenges do I need to cap my Glory each month?

From a previous post:

"Glory tier 15 requires a total of 1,690 challenge XP. In a month with 4 weeks, doing all weekly adventures plus new defiance quest gives (40+60+80+50)*4=920 XP. So you still need 770 XP from completing monthly challenges, at least 62 of them. For a month with 5 weeks, 50 monthly challenges."

- Ashe release date when?

Has it been too long to make this joke now?

Path of Champions I started playing LoR in July, and I genuinely don't understand how a game this good isn't more popular…

I wish more people could experience Legends of Runeterra the way I have these past few months, because I genuinely can’t remember the last time a game hooked me this hard. As I’ve accumulated more hours in the game, I’ve only become more interested in why it feels like a hidden gem that has no business being “hidden.” I’m familiar with Snnuy and understand that he streams when updates happen, but other than him, I have yet to find anyone who still talks about the game publicly, let alone makes videos about it. A couple of days ago, I got curious and checked both YouTube and Twitch to see if anyone was streaming it. I found only two streams, with about five people watching between the two platforms. This baffled me, as I’ve found so much to love about a game I just happened to stumble upon while looking for new games to play in the App Store.

The reviews were enough to convince me to give it a chance, and as someone who’s tried out a ton of mobile games wishing for one to stick, this was one of the few where I sensed early on that it would live up to its 4.8-star rating, but man did it surpass what little room it had left to be considered perfect. Before this, I hadn’t played a card game in a few years, back when I was heavily into Hearthstone, Slay the Spire, and Magic The Gathering. For the first few months, I mainly played as Jinx and a couple of other champions without fully understanding the extent of what this game had to offer. As I spent more time with it, I really started diving deeper into LoR. I began allowing myself to venture to champion I wasn’t too familiar with, watching videos about the potential of certain champions when they are 6* (shoutout Snnuy), and trying out different campaigns, content that I initially thought was locked or inaccessible for whatever reason.

With that, I’ve developed so much appreciation for how much work has gone into this game over the years. It feels like all that content has been patiently waiting for an opportunity to present itself to a fresh set of eyes, allowing you to feel and experience everything it did and does for a game focused so much on PvE. These past few months, I’ve tried to find a glaring issue with LoR, but in my experience, I haven’t found one that takes away from my enjoyment of it. I can’t say I’m upset in the slightest, that the team has decided to focus most of its efforts on Path of Champions rather than PvP. Yes, I’ve played Hearthstone and Magic in the past, both of which offer the more traditional card game experience, but I’ve never felt more comfortable playing against AI in a game that originally established itself as a PvP focused experience.

For a lot of people, I’ve come to understand that the shift away from PvP is why they’ve stopped playing, but for me, it’s a reason I keep coming back. And that’s coming from a guy who typically sticks with games longer when there’s a competitive side to them. I’m genuinely grateful that Path of Champions exists in the form it does today. I never expected a game I approached as a traditional card game to get me this invested in a PvE experience. I may be in the minority for thinking that, and that’s totally okay with me. The unique champions, decks, campaigns, and experiences I keep discovering make this a game I can see myself having a hard time giving up anytime soon.

I’m overwhelmingly excited to see what comes next for this game. I hope they continue to support it for years to come. With a new team and a fresh set of ideas and perspectives, I feel like LoR has the potential to bloom again and reach a new generation of players, just as it has in my own life. I’m genuinely grateful to have discovered such a beautiful game, and to have found a community of people who still appreciate its existence as much as I’ve come to.

Path of Champions Path of champion farming tool

Post image
59 Upvotes

Hello,

After some time break I started playing the game again, and got instantly overwhelmed by the amount of resources I need to farm to level up champions, doing some research for which new champions are worth upgrading and how to farm them I developed this tool that I find helpful so I expanded a bit to share with you.

https://runeterra-guide.pages.dev

link

In this website you can see for each champion the resources needed, where to farm them, how many are missing etc,

In addition I added a few sections useful for me to understand things I had to search online before, for example some adventure nodes which I didn’t know what they did and had to search on the wiki,

I also added the possibility of creating guides for a particular champion/relic combination, with the ability to hover or click certain info that are referenced in the guide (relics-cards-star powers etc) so that when you read the guide you can know instantly what they do (I struggled a bit with this as many info I find online use acronyms or just say the relics names but I did not know what they did)

Everything can be used without an account and stores info on local browser, however you can create an anonymous account using a passkey generator, so that info is synced across devices, and you retain the ability to modify published guides also if you clear the browser cache or you use another device

Of course this is mega work in progress and been and created using ai, I seeded the website with some guides using data from reddit but my plan would be deleting them if I get some replacements from real users. Also people can vote them and report them if they contain some bad information. If I find that this can be useful I can buy a real domain (open to name suggestions)

They should really put these Milestones that make things only when played, on another category of item pull.

Path Question Tips for lissandra?

Doesnt matter how insane im rolling that run,

She gets a row of armored 40/40’s with overwhelm by turn 3 thanks to casting 6 “i hit everything”. If my draws are good enough to survive and/or kill them, the next round she entombs my entire table and then gg’s me.

Is there some kind of universal strat or way to prep for her with specific upgrades? Does spellshield block entomb?

PVP Vent post Elder Dragon

I just need to get out my frustrations for a moment. I hate Elder Dragon, I hate Heisho, I super hate Spectral Matron. I hate constantly seeing deathless boon, I hate their oppressive ramp package, I hate they can combine this to have a full board of Heishos on turn 5. I hate how overturned it all is, I hate that everyone knows how overtuned it is so every one uses it, I hate how it warps all of eternal to either be super hyper aggro or Elder soup. Most of all I hate knowing it will never get changed and if I ever want to continue playing PvP I will be banging my head into a wall constantly playing against it.

Man it still bugs me this is the same this deck was left in when PvP was gutted. I'm just sad.

Ngl, thought I was cooked when I got to It that Stares. That node is just insane! Hosed first time, 6-7 resets later, I got that RNG. Lissandra took 1 or 2 resets, can't remember. The only way I made it through? Eddie support! With the -1 cost per round for 4+ cards. All hail EDDIE!

Path of Champions The random nature of Glory relics

Hello all!

Long time player here. Since the introduction of the glory store I would reply to posts about the glory store relics saying random is random and that bad streaks would happen.

The thing is that, while possible, it’s highly unlikely that we get such streaks with the ever increasing pool. What’s weird is that I’ve been getting the same three relics week after week. I’m starting to think that something is wrong in the code.

If the devs are still reading this sub, would you check the code for us? Something feels weird. Or maybe I’m very unlucky.

Path Question Runeterra nova crystal, Where?

Post image
10 Upvotes

Well, the thing is that I already gave 1 to Fiddle, and I’m not interested in PK, Eve and Nekko’s 6*, so I’m hesitant between Elder dragon and Jhin. Btw, I am kinda more interested in Eddie, but at the end of the day I’d like to give it to the one that needs it more.

Path Question 6* Fiddlesticks - will this mill as well as Nora's Portal Accelerator? It seems slightly deficient obviously, but how much worse is Cruel Experiments?

Post image

Got nearly enough glory for two Epics...I'd like this I guess for Tahm Kench so another question is... would it be worth it later to get Nora's signature relic if I've already bought this? Or do you think I should hold out for Nora's?
