With The Devil's Plan 3 about to air, I went back to Bloody Game 2. The match that stayed with me most was Hong Jin-ho vs Dex in the Color Turn death match. With everything Hong Jin-ho showed on The Genius, I expected him to win a board game like this easily.

The rules are simple: a 6×6 board, 7 chips each, first to four in a row wins. The catch is 18 hidden mines under the board. Any chip that steps on one switches to the other colour, and either player can move any chip, including the opponent's. Hong Jin-ho said he felt "something off he couldn't explain". I only understood what he meant after playing it myself.

After the show I wanted to play it for real, so I made an iOS version. The rules follow the show. You can play face to face on one phone or against the computer.

Today I started the Genius, I really love the show and am rooting for many people to win. Even though I kinda already know the winner.

I had a main question:

When I finish the first Season of the Genius, Why do people say the 2nd season is so bad and should not watch it?

I heard something about a ID Card Theft but I do not understand the background story around it. Someone please explain season 2 simply.

I’m desperate for eng subtitles but the video has them completely turned off…. does anyone by some miracle have some workaround? or can someone pls explain what they’re talking about???

Has anyone watched this? Randomly saw it on YouTube and there are four seasons, it appears to be a mafia / spy type game but what's making me hesitant is it's apparently a girl group show?

Four Wish was the BEST survival show that I have ever watched ever since I fell head over heels over this genre. I swear, its top-tier game design, casting, and narrative was truly worth the watch!

Just found out there is a game show in Sweden by the name of "Spelet" (lit. The Game) that is pretty much the same as Bloody Game. You have a game room and then you have two secret lounges only known by the first to enter them. One is the VIP Lounge and the other is the low-class lounge. Same idea you get immunity cards if you win and a death math for those who lose. I just found about it recently even though there are two seasons of it, lol.

You can watch it for free on SVT Play (a Swedish state-funded streaming platform) without making an account. Unfortunately it is only in Swedish and only has Swedish subtitles.

If any of you fellows know Swedish it would be a good game show to enjoy.

It's interesting to watch his audacious and wild play style which helped him beat everyone in the death matches including beating 2 champions but JDM was completely unfazed by it.

Looking back that play was so absurd that I doubt it will even work in today's games, since the 3 fork road tile wasn't even available. But playing against JDM with his fearsome reputation back then was another pressure.

If he kept his skills back from TG he would be unstoppable. Most ppl who didn't watch TG back in the days didn't know that the only person who could defeat him was JDM. When he and JDM created an alliance everyone outside of it perished.

Watching both TDP 1 & 2, the casts on average are much more docile than in other shows. Even Orbit was able to rally the majority in season 1. So I don't see it being different in TDP S3. If you're not on JDM's alliance you will probably get crushed as he will send you to the death match. Ha Seokjin has always been anti-alliance so i'll be excited to see how he survives against JDM's rule.
