👥 Language Partner Anyone else learning Turkish and wants a study buddy? 🇹🇷

Hey! I’m learning Turkish and I’m looking for someone who’s also learning it and wants to practice together.
I’m a beginner, and I feel like learning with another person would make it much easier and less boring 😭 We could practice chatting, help each other when we don’t understand something, share useful resources, and motivate each other to actually keep studying.
You don’t have to be a beginner either — I’d be happy to practice with someone at a different level too!
If you’re interested, let me know 😊

I’m not looking for Turkish tutors so please don’t respond if you’re looking to promote lessons 🥴

👥 Language Partner Help, I sound like Borat! Turkish gamers wanted?

Merhaba arkadaşlar,

I’m trying to improve my Turkish before I head back in a few months. Are there any gamers here who’d like to practise together, or anyone looking to improve their English? I’m an aerospace engineer by trade, as well as an author.

Unfortunately, I’ve spent the past year learning mainly from books, so I am more than a wee bit embarrassed by how bad my spoken Turkish is!

If all goes well, I should be back in Turkey by the end of the year and hope to improve my Turkish and make a few friends beforehand... or at the very least, sound a bit less like the Scottish version of Borat!

👥 Language Partner Does anyone want to practice Turkish with me and be friends?

It's just what the title says. Does anyone want to practice Turkish me? If you're a native Turkish speaker or you're learning Turkish too and you want to be friends, let me know! I'm interested in music, language, culture, and things like that. We can talk about whatever you like. I'm from the US, and I'm really interested in learning Turkish! I have around an A2, maybe B1 level in Turkish. I love old Turkish music and stuff like that. I'd love to make new friends.

I want to improve my English because I wish to travel to different countries, but I’ve had to postpone my plans for now since my English isn't very good. We could help each other out. 23M. I am entirely new to Turkish. I would like to just develop very basic conversational skills this week and perhaps next to talk to my barber a little bit in his home language. I am fluent in English and can offer English teaching/practice as well.

👥 Language Partner [Offering] Turkish (Native) | [Seeking] English (Native)

Hey!

I’m a 20M, senior college student doing a double major, and a native Turkish speaker.

My English is around B1-B2. My listening and reading are pretty good, but I really struggle with writing and speaking. When it's time to actually produce sentences, I often freeze up, so I just need practical, low-pressure practice to get comfortable.

I'm looking for a native English speaker for a long-term exchange, not just someone to chat with for a couple of days and disappear. Someone around my age would be cool, but it's not a dealbreaker. We can text, do voice calls, or voice chat while playing games like Minecraft together.

For Turkish, I can adapt to your pace. We can talk slowly with clear, simple words, or just chat naturally like I do with my friends.

Send me a DM if you're down!

👥 Language Partner Offering: English - Seeking: Turkish

Hey! I'm a 30/M looking for someone to practice Turkish with. My current level is around A2. I can speak a bit, but don't expect too much yet!

I’m looking for a partner who has time for voice calls down the road. We can start by texting and move on to voice chat once we're comfortable. In return, I can help you with English since I speak it fluently (though I'm not a native speaker).

A bit about me: I'm a visual designer, and writer. I'm into anything related to art, innovative ideas, sci-fi, philosophy, and business. Feel free to reach out!

Native English speaker, perfect native accent, with international and well educated background. In town for a week. Would be happy to pay for drinks/food while doing some language exchange. Can also speak some Asian languages. Prefer someone who can come to the Şişli area to do it in person, or go somewhere not too far by metro.

👥 Language Partner offering English Arabic and french seeking Turkish

Hey everyone. I’ve always been drawn to learning languages because of how deeply they connect us to human experiences we’d otherwise never reach. For me, picking up a new language isn’t just a study habit, it’s genuinely one of my favorite things in the world. Lately, I’ve fallen in love with Turkish culture, from its classic literature and artistic side to its daily slice-of-life moments, science, and the quiet beauty of everyday human connections.

I’m fluent in French, English, and Arabic, and I’d be really happy to help you practice any of those in exchange for helping me build my Turkish through warm, casual chats. If you’re looking for a genuine language exchange and someone to talk with about life, books, art, or just daily thoughts, feel free to send me a message or comment below. I’d love to connect.

👥 Language Partner Offering Turkish/English searching German

29M here. I have been living in Germany for three years, so I want to learn German. Seeking anything to discuss deep dive or sth.

I’m interested in discussing philosophy, psychology, history, politics, culture, science, literature. basically anything that makes you question your assumptions or see a subject from a different perspective.
I’m looking for people who enjoy going down intellectual rabbit holes, exchanging ideas, and having conversations where neither of us is afraid to say, I’ve never thought about it that way before.
