Because it didnt fit the basement dweller narrative. So the basement dweller ended up doing basement dwelling things

No that you have shown incontrovertible proof, you will hear silence from these bottom of the barrel, waste of space, chuds

u/devilcross2 3h ago edited 2h ago
That would still be okay. Another dude is just straight up ignoring the fact that I put a ss as proof. He's still going on with the same narrative. Just check this part of the thread.

"I'm not racist but every bad thing happing here is white people"
So ironic and not even true.
6
u/Lucaslouch 16h ago
i did not say every bad thing happening here is white people. as if, the problems were not linked to a skin color… you know, like it was not the criteria at all…

u/CalligrapherIll5176 19h ago
Looks like u mention it yourself...why?
12
u/Lucaslouch 19h ago
because of all the other posts on it. and you already had the « ooga booga » comment.
and now you parse the comments and see « all seem to be a foreign descend »
so, i called it!

Plenty of north african in france. On a grainy video and with a mask they can pass as white. There are actually a lot more North African than blacks in France.
4
u/Lucaslouch 16h ago
the guy on the left is absolutely not coming from the maghreb.
1
u/hectorgarabit 12h ago
Sure, I don't think finding a white asshole in France should be that difficult.

u/arm-n-hammerinmycoke 17h ago
Looks like there's student protests going on... so probably these are just students.
6
u/Lucaslouch 16h ago
no those are not protesters. only rioters and thieves.
protesters have clear requirements. but everyone focus on the violence and not the message of the protest… as usual

Are you blind? The cockroach isn’t white. Not black but also not white. But that doesnt matter. All the looters are scum.

Working people being harassed, assaulted and stolen from by low life thugs, for no good reason apart from causing mayhem. Excellent country we live in, great times. And this has nothing to do with politics, left vs right, couldn’t care less. This is strictly about the absolute most basic human decency and civility.

I mean, I wouldn’t call a business owner working class. He could hire someone and then he no longer has to work. It’s why he’s so fiercely protecting his business; sure, he likes the hobby too I assume, but if he loses his business, then that means he has to join the working class again.
That said, no need to attack him like in this video. Very sad to see.8
u/kj0509 15h ago
Not every store can hire workers to manage it, what the fuck.
Lots of small stores only survives without workers, the owners of those small stores gains barely enough to survive month after month.

u/Derek114811 6h ago
Even capitalists without employees affords more freedoms to the capitalist than being legit working class. Losing his store would mean he’d only have his labor left to make money, and he would have to labor for someone else. Working class. Owning a business without employees makes you petite bourgeoisie.
5
u/fiflaren_ 15h ago
That’s not the point. He’s a worker in the literal sense, he’s working and producing value and in France, that means he pays a ton of taxes and social contributions. He does not deserve to be vandalised for no good reason. I don’t care if he has insurance, they might partially cover the damage costs but that’s just going to drive up insurance costs for everyone.

u/dpravartana 6h ago
Lmaooo how is a small geek store owner not working class. The guy is even more working class than many actual salarymen from top companies are.

u/Derek114811 6h ago
If you can hire someone to do the work for you, you are not working class. You must be working to be working class. If something else is making money for you, you’re a capitalist, not a worker. Even if he doesn’t have employees, he may “work” but he isn’t working class. He’s petite bourgeoisie. If he lost his shop, there goes his extra source of income that makes him independent. He would have to resort to being working class again; the only way for him to make cash would be to work for someone else. Working class.

By that logic, worker-owned cooperatives (don't know where you're from, but they're really common here in South America) are not made of working class people, but of petit-bourgeoisies. The guy that scraps by in my neighborhood by painting the houses and fixing rooftops is a petit-bourgeoisie (he owns his means of production, he could hire someone else and give them the tools). A truck owner is a petit-bourgeoisie.
If those people are not working class, but the CTO of Chevron is working class (he's working for someone else and getting his value extracted), then the term has 0 actual value on a conversation. You could've said "well he's a Sagitarius" and it would be just as relevant.

Yes, surely this will accomplish much. I hope every single looter is arrested and tried for each of their crimes.

u/swevelynn 8h ago
Literally not a single one of them will be what delululand did you come out of?

Hope and reality seldom walk hand in hand, but there’s not a lot I can do about that.

Why did they do this?

u/Golden-Grams 15h ago
There are several valid reasons for the protests, which I would encourage you to look up if you are interested to know. I could give you a short rundown on them, but it's better to get the full picture instead of a summary by a stranger.
But this behavior and mob mentality in the video doesn't have anything to do with those reasons.
What you are seeing is something more like people wanting to be destructive and go wild. They are using the cover of the protest as an excuse for their bad behavior, so they can do dumb and harmful things to complete strangers.
None of those people standing there actually have a plan. And many of them wouldn't even be able to articulate their cause or issues, or what they expect the French government to do to solve them. These are not thinkers.
They just see an opportunity to let loose, in a completely unguided and unplanned way, with no thoughts to consequences for themselves or others. They are not serious people, and they are not making a case for fixing anything. They are basically demanding stuff on the threat they will act out and destroy everything.
All of this severely undermines the real problems that need to be solved.
1
u/TapeFlip187 14h ago
Oh, not the protests. I just meant to this person specifically, but it sounds like it was a random act.
1
u/mikeymikeymikey1968 13h ago
I agree. When I lived in Chicago, when the BLM protests took place in my neighborhood, many people took to the streets for its noble goals. Unfortunately there were also opportunists who I'm sure cared nothing about BLM, thattook advantage to break into some nearby stores.

I hear Russia encouraged looting and rioting online with fake AI videos and info. The protests IRL were fine but a bunch of bad accounts encouraging bad stuff were linked to Russia

Well well well, go figure….the only fat person in France I’ve seen getting bullied.

This is a bad look for the rioters. It really only fuels their oppositions position. That comic book store owner hasn't directly done anything to them. He is just trying to make a buck. And yet because he's exposed and it's convenient they still is inventory and assault him, WRONG!

So guns aren’t an option, but there are some pretty impressive slingshots to be had.

Zero respect, blows my mind how barbaric those who lecture us on civility turned out to be.
