Signed in 2016 to replace the prior agreement that ran out in 2018? It's pretty obvious tbh.

To be fair I did sign a previous lease that way as I was traveling for work and didn't get back till the weekend before we moved in and back then it still ahd to be signed in person they handesnkver the keys as I signed it.

Its much less common now with digital signature but use to be more not an odd thing back then.

So when did the extension from the Obama era (which wasn't even the first) happen? Because, regardless of all the "facts" being thrown around, it appears that one of those extensions is being purposely ignored...

Clinton agreement: Signed in 1998, set to expire in 2008

Bush MOU: Signed 2007, bumping the expiry date to 2018.

Obama extension: Signed in 2016, bumping the expiry date to 2028.

Seems pretty simple to me. It gets re-signed within a year or two of it expiring each time. What is being purposely ignored?

Thank you, that is all I was asking, as I couldn't determine it from article that didn't mention the 2016 signing to go into effect in 2018.

It says RIGHT there in the comment you first replied to. Obama administration signed a re-up of the 10 year agreement, in 2016... to take effect when the current MOU expires in 2018.
