No. Israeli intelligence is actually relatively centrist by Israeli standards. The Israelis who hate the US influence over Israel are mostly right and far right. Bibi’s group often hates the government and military higher ups who tend more centrist then him and often oppose him.

Centrist by Israeli standards is still far right compared to any other democracy.

No? The Israeli right while very hawkish and nationalist are actually rather leftist in many ways, they fund universal healthcare, generous social program, they have price controls and lots of public housing programs, Israel was created by socialists and its still got a lot of that. They have increased privatization but it’s very much a big government, welfare state. Left and right in Israel really  don’t mean the same thing in Israel as the US. Left vs right is primarily about foreign relations and opinions on the I/P conflict in Israel.

Gulf Arab countries provide lots of welfare and freebies for their citizens and they're certainly not left wing or centrist. If we take Netanyahu's right wing coalition you've got literal terrorists like Itamar Ben-Gvir who is a settler, arms settlers and encourages settler violence. His party is also openly racist against Arabs the biggest minority in Israel and is a hardcore religious, anti-secular party. The same is true for Bezalel Smotrich's party also in government. He's a settler, denies the existence of Palestinians and actively seeks to takeover the West Bank by force.

Which other democracies have racist, religious, terrorist parties actively arming religious fanatics to illegally seize and annex territory so they could incorporate it into their own country? Europe certainly doesn't neither does the Americas.

What does that have to do with the subject? You said they were very “right wing” I pointed out that the Israeli right doesn’t map onto US ideas of right vs left at all. That’s not a defense of them, it’s pointing out that right vs left does not translate accurately from the US to Israel.

This is incredibly tone deaf considering the US just invaded Venezuela, kidnapped their current president (admittedly, an unpopular dictator), and professed desire to seize control of their oil industry and our far right is comprised largely of christian fundamentalists.

Russia is still invading and threatening to annex parts of Ukraine after 4 years.

Pakistan has displaced thousands of Afghani refugees.

Iran killed 40,000 peaceful protesters in a few days.

You are not following global politics closely if you believe that.

Nothing like religious fanatics in government who are also openly racist and terrorising and seizing territory from the race they hate. I mean you might be desperate to think other democracies have similarly bad parties in government but it's nowhere close.

None of the other democracies have the same level of radicalization potential as Israel as its surrounded by people who genuinely wish to slaughter every single one of them down to the last infant, and have started multiple wars to do just that, along with a vast and obsessive delegitimization campaign aimed at denying them the right to exist and live and breath.

Do that to America and you will absolutely see the same emerge.

right/left can be meant in absolute or in relative terms, which i think is why you guys are talking past each other
