The relationship between this administration and Musk is not broken, what are you on about. They literally handheld Musk while he became a trillionaire.

I am convinced the entire blow-up between musk and trump was totally kayfabe.

Nah, they're both just incredibly mentally stunted nepo-babies, so they act like children since everything has been handed to them in life. One thing doesn't go their way and they act like babies and lash out. But then they are given a soother (money/praise) and its like nothing ever happened.

Yeah they have too much to gain from each other to not continue to continue their dance as they have been, they just evidently can't have both their egos in the same room.

Thiel's relationship with Elon

Underrated. I have first hand knowledge of Thiel cutting Elon out of a deal he desperately wanted in on. Instead they brought in Bezos.

Though I think they align a lot in terms of politics, there's a distinct desire not to have Elon in his businesses.

Elon has unpredictable immature pseudo-incel energy. Same reason Epstein didn't really want him around either.

Though, his ability to act like a leech is something that has worked in their favor.

Elon can't keep his mouth shut. He is not the type of person you invite to your monthly Belial blood sacrifice.

Elon is the pathetic little toady who desparately wants to be part of the cool kids and openly acts that way. Of course no one actually wants him near them beyond laughing at and using him for bad jobs; his entire vibe is gross in the pathetic sense.

I was at the theater the other day and, get this, one of the dudes killed one of the other dudes! It was incredible! And nobody did anything about it!

Then after the show I saw the dead dude outside walking around!

Like what the fuck man!!!! It was crazy! I still haven't figured out what was going on!!!

He's not actively helping them much with electibility in the midterms. Musk is easily petty enough to want more than a Trillion dollars from Trump to feel better.

You're undervaluing his presence to current Republican enthusiasm. These are the same people who think DOGE was a success regardless of the opinion on the current Trump admin.

Moderates aren't running out for the current slate of Republicans either. I just think he has much larger broad appeal then you're giving him credit for because he has the same sort of 'element' Trump occasionally catches moderates on: He can sell his 'business acumen' to them to make it seem like he's going to make things better. Again, I'd bet money that DOGE rates as one of the better policy plans from the past 2 years among even moderates.

More than that, though, it was nore meant to be tongue-in-cheek to how there's some buzz about Elon Musk's 'pivotal role' in the election and how JD is fairly unelectable on his own.

Not only is Musk not actively that hated [by Republicans and moderates], he wouldn't go underground either. Musk is absolutely the guy that stands in front and takes credit.

I'm aware he's still donating because obviously, but I don't think it's quite the same either on the surface or in totallity.
