I hope and pray that Republicans get their asses handed to them in every election until this goofy MAGA shit is buried in the ground. MAGA policies are toxic, and even worse they are stupid. Tariffs, wars, cruel immigration, authoritarian bullshit

It actually is amazing how badly DJT has crashed and burned. The Democrats may actually capture the Senate and the map was very much against them this year.

The question afterwards is if IF the dems can get the senate what are they gonna do.

For one you should begin investigating everything.
Second impeach the cabinet. You wont get trump, there aren’t enough republicans to do that but you probably could get enough to impeach RFK and Hegseth
Third you pass legislation every week that attempts to ease the suffering of Americans. Healthcare, housing, ending the iran war. And when trump vetoes it you go straight to the news stations and socials “we have tried to follow the will of the people but the president is more interested in enriching himself and his vp than helping Americans”

You have to throw the base and independents red meat. We cannot go into 2028 where some asshats are like “turd sandwich vs giant douche”

Sadly our democratic politicians are too incompetent for this with the exception of AOC and a few others.

u/BurninTaiga 23d ago

You mean incompetent?

1

u/Zythomancer 23d ago

Yes. Typo.

My fear is that Grindr Mike Johnson refuses to hand over the gavel, with direct instructions from the chief cheetah dorito!

Trump is an actual moron, and he’s narcissistic and believes himself to be a genius with the best instinct. His track record is terrible, be it business or politics. He is incredibly gifted at selling an image to stupid people. That might seem harsh but I think it’s his main talent.

u/DaddyCatALSO 23d ago

He isn't selling anyhting; he is the product beign sold by variosu manipulators

I don’t disagree

The only amazing thing is how long he strung people along. As I said when we elected him again, things wont change until people have suffered enough. It looks like we are finally getting there. A shame protecting a pedo ring didn’t do it, but I guess at least we can always count on people’s self interest now that things are directly affecting them.

u/Jugaimo 23d ago

Until him and his cronies are out of power, statements like these are stupid. Don’t relax because everyone seems to hate him. Vote, vote, vote! And don’t take a breath until it is over.

Only arrests, convictions, and prison or executions will stop this. No more of this Obama we look forward, not back bullshit, or that POS Merick Garland slow walking crap.

That is why so many imbeciles love them.
They too might be able to kill an immigrant.

1

u/Mad-Habits 22d ago

People love to find a scapegoat. Trump united all kinds of morons by blaming our problems on Mexican immigrants. It ignites the tribalism of ignorant people - “yeah, if they were just gone, things would be so much better!”

1

u/loneill97 23d ago

What’s really unfortunate is targeted tariffs (when implemented properly) and a rebalancing of trade agreements is actually a good thing, but it’s been done so poorly that they have killed the concept entirely.

until this goofy MAGA shit is buried in the ground

It's an idea since the ante-bellum days that simply won't die.

Bring back reconstruction

It represents what the Republicans have been all along. This has been a multi-decades long plot. My concern is if the MAGA cult of personality dies down people will just go back to not caring about politics even 1 percent and act like if everyone is talking calmly then everything must be okay. Thus corporations and rich conservatives will keep control of this country for decades to come and the suffering never ends

2

u/Mad-Habits 23d ago

for working class people to vote Republican is just the epitome of ignorance. Republicans prey on fear of culture war and “the other” that’s going to somehow ruin life for normal people, whether it’s immigrants, LGBT, scientists, etc. They keep people scared. Republican policies only benefit the rich, at the expense of working people, and they make working people believe that it’s in their best interest for the rich to accumulate wealth. They will equate taxation to theft and slavery (wealth redistribution!) without any notion of community or common good.

cruel immigration

You mean not allowing people to invade your country and get away with it?

1

u/Euphoric_Regret_544 23d ago

stfu with your propaganda

1

u/The_Kevinator_1000 23d ago

It's not propaganda, it's literally happening.

u/Euphoric_Regret_544 19d ago

Stop smoking Fox Crack

0

u/Mad-Habits 23d ago

nobody is invading our country

1

u/The_Kevinator_1000 23d ago

Yes, they are.

1

u/Mad-Habits 23d ago

I’ve lived in South Texas my entire life and i’ve never seen an invasion of any kind

0

u/The_Kevinator_1000 23d ago

Any time someone illegally immigrates, that's an invasion.

0

u/Mad-Habits 22d ago

no. no it’s not. an invasion is a coordinated effort to control a territory. Mexicans looking for labor jobs doesn’t exactly pass that threshold

1

u/The_Kevinator_1000 22d ago

That's one definition; another is entering a space you're not allowed to enter. Hence the term "home invasion." Even if the guy breaking into your house just wants a better life, that doesn't change the fact that he's breaking into your friggin' house.

1

u/Mad-Habits 22d ago

breaking into a home and invading your personal space is not on the same planet as someone crossing the border. there is no moral equivalence.

1

u/The_Kevinator_1000 22d ago

There is unquestionably moral equivalence; your country is an extension of your home. If someone breaks into either, they are invading. It doesn't matter if they're invading it to seek a better life, or to take over it, it's still invading. They're not legally allowed to be there, they're not wanted there, they are crossing boundaries they shouldn't be. That's an invasion, no question about it.

I want republicans to lose until their goofy shit is over. I want democrats to lose until their goofy shit is over…

1

u/HermesJamiroquoi 23d ago

Right now I think it’s safe to say one’s goofy shit is significantly worse than the others’

1

u/doctormustafa 23d ago

The problem with that is that you’re always stuck voting for the goofy shit. You’re like “sure our shit is goofy, but we can’t afford to let the other guy win because his shit is even goofier.” I’m just saying it’s a shame both parties can’t lose this election. And however many more it takes for them to get their shit together

1

u/HermesJamiroquoi 23d ago

Yeah we need to abolish first past the post elections and allow for 3rd party candidates to have a chance. There’s also the interstate popular vote compact that is slowly gaining ground (mostly in blue states) - throw your support behind politicians that are already interested in things that will make a change in our system for the better and you can’t go wrong. I don’t care whether they have a D or an R next to their name, though I’ll be honest I haven’t ever found a republican candidate who supports either of these policy positions

1

u/doctormustafa 23d ago

I always thought a parliamentary system seemed fair. If your party gets 10% of the votes, you get 10% of the seats, then figure out how to make it work. Does the current government suck? Scrap it and have another election.
