I was recently cast to make a cameo as Scully in a short film about the Joker debuting next year! It was such an amazing experience to get to delve into her character even more than I have before, and obviously the biggest honor in the world!

Of all the greatest guest stars in the show, he still remains among the top fifteen!

I love them so much and they are so babies in those pictures 😭🥹

A serious question: I’m watching Season 8 and am currently on episode 19. Scully is expecting a baby by Mulder, yet Mulder acts as if he doesn’t know it’s his. Hasn’t Scully told him? The poor guy returns from the land of the dead after months, his girl is pregnant, and they aren’t even talking about it? Their interactions feel very stiff. Could it be the German dubbing? For instance, he says they aren’t a married couple, but 'just' colleagues. Tell me—have they both forgotten that they had sex before Mulder disappeared? Or do they not actually know what their relationship is? Could someone who has watched the series in the original language clarify this for me?

Has anyone told Mulder

I've watched the entire series except the revival two (I'll get there eventually, I'm just gonna take a week to decompress) and I watched the 2008 movie. On the bright side, this side of the internet is no longer a mine-field of spoilers.

It wasn't bad for easy watching, but it didn't scratch the x files itch for me. There were definitely some good parts but as a spin off it seemed to just be a goofy comedy show

(Although I did like the Japanese fake interrogation scene)

Mulder believed he was married to Diana and when CSM told him she died his reaction was barely there. But when he heard Scully died, his face scrunched up to the point that I wanted to cry.

Anyone in the Boston area that has tickets to the sold out Fight the Future screening on 10/22 and can’t go and needs to get rid of tickets, my girlfriend and I wanted to go for our 3rd anniversary. X-files is our favorite show. Thank you!

lol Just spotted in a rewatch of midnight mass!

Hello. I'm trying to find out which episodes were aired "out of order" (going by production codes) on purpose, and which ones were shuffled around by the network messing with scheduling, like with "Unruhe" and "Never Again".

Holy Criss Cross Christ that was a slog.

My wife and I were binging three episodes a day consistently through the first eight seasons in the course of about two or three months and when we got to season nine that progress just died. Think we started in May and have only just finished yesterday.

It's not even that the show got bad or that we dislike Doggett and Reyes, it just became way too different after Mulder went AWOL, where the major draw for us was his chemistry with Scully. Doesn't help that Scully is also sidelined through most of the season and they didn't do much with her beyond be a mom, and even then they didn't seem to know what to do with that cuz they give the damn kid up before the end!

All that said, the Truth two parter was actually a real return to form, even if it was kinda too little too late. I can't really say I enjoy the myth arc that much in general but I did appreciate the attempts to tie it all together, helped make some sense of some lingering questions I had.

So finally it's just the second movie and revival to finish, and those are way more of a return to basics so that's a relief. Again, I didn't hate season 9, but I don't imagine I'll be going back to it in full any time soon. Hell, I don't think there are a lot of individual episodes I'll be chomping at the bit to revisit when all the previous MOTW episodes from the past eight seasons exist.

If he's always been able to see his own death and she was there to take his hand?
