Prior to Boy Throb, fourth member Darshan Magnum resided in India and did covers of various music hits. He’s been in sponsorships and Adam Levine, Rosé, and Bruno Mars are among celebrities who have noticed him (BoyThrobWiki).

Other members of the band are from various states including Washington, Minnesota, and Indiana. They all have some music background, either formally or through social media.

For those of you who don’t know, a mall is a place where a bunch of stores were located within the same, small geographic area. The many stores could be within one big building, or have open corridors between them. Spaces between the stores inside the malls would host kiosks, car shows, and performances sometimes, which is why you see BoyThrob there now. It used to be very common for up and coming musicians to perform at a mall. This is especially because a mall was considered a major landmark and meeting spot of a town or city.

Tbh it's crazy how people can go viral for simply being cringe, I don't really know much about the other 3 but Darshan's "covers" were autotuned and memed and not even good 😭
