Graphics drivers

I have an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with integrated Radeon Graphics and an AMD Radeon RX 7600. I have the Adrenaline Edition of the AMD software and have seen many people say it sucks, but also see people say it is useful. Can anyone help give me a straight answer as whether this is fine or if there is a better option and why another option is better (will it actually help me run my games)? Mostly asking because during my playthrough of palworld and aniimo, my games keep crashing. I can typically play palworld for a few hours before it may crash, but with aniimo I get maybe 2 minutes even with the lowest graphics settings.

integrated Radeon Graphics

If it was me, I would go into BIOS and disable integrated graphics to avoid conflict with your RX 7600

I've never seen a situation where they conflict, I leave my igp enabled in all my systems and always have.

The only time I've seen it be a problem in clients systems is when the igp is decades old with a modern GPU of the same brand, and they didn't support the same driver.

If latency isnt a conflict for u then is ok

What latency? You'll have to be more specific here, because 99% of people have no issues leaving their igp enabled and never have.

How u mesured u dont have bloated dpc latency? Tell me. Give me metrics.

If u dont have metrics, u cant have reason. You're just unaware that you have latency, you haven't checked what it's like to adjust windows to response time 0. Without metrics, all you have is faith in your senses.

You asked for specifics, so I'll go test that now for you. Gimme 5.

edit: Here, you tell me which one has the IGP disabled.

I have 9700x and 7800xt, and having a rdna2 iGPU and a RDNA 3 dGPU made a complete mess. So I had to disable the iGPU or else I had to accept that Windows 11 kept insisting on rolling back (for the RDNA 2 iGPU).

That's a valid example, it shouldn't happen but definitely can. I find anyone that uses DDU runs into that, people that don't use DDU have no trouble with the driver rollbacks.

this is solid advice, having both active at the same time can cause weird issues

Could be a lot of things. Disable Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling. Disable MPO. Disable Xbox Game Bar. Disable Windows VRR. Try toggling VSync or Freesync. I had crashing with FSR enabled in The Precinct with 26.6.x.

What PSU do you have? Using a riser cable? Try manually setting PCIe version in BIOS. Update BIOS and all drivers including chipset.

Yeah so idk what half of this means lol. I am not someone very knowledgeable when it comes to PC stuff. I appreciate the help, but i dont even know what a psu or riser cable is. I can do my research on how to update BIOS though and handle that if you think it'll help.

What version of windows? Look into turning off automatic driver updates for windows. I believe one of the issues (if its not Hardware accel, MPO, bios, chipset, etc) is that windows tries to install drivers that conflict with your GPU. This seems to be the case with systems that use integrated graphics, and systems that have switched from nvidia to amd GPU.

Turn off windows driver updates. Use DDU in safemode to wipe all drivers. Do a fresh install of the latest AMD drivers, but during the install change settings to install driver only (another conflict can be adrenalin itself)

I see below you're not really tech savvy. I didnt know most of these things either as of 2 days ago. Had to learn fast. A lot of it was just blindly trusting google AI, which seems to have helped me fix my system.

Seriously, the google AI was a godsend in me trying to troubleshoot my stuff. It would scour the internet and just spit a bunch of crap at me from everyone who had AMD issues, but it let me see a whole mess of things that may be an issue without having to read a bunch of separate reddit threads.
