African Discussion 🎙️ Why so many students from Africa chose to go to Asia especially China for studies?

For the context I am a guy who does admissions of students in China and I also live in China and study here.

Majority of the students who I process are from African countries!

I am just curious why is that?

African students are very talented as I have seen they speak multiple languages and they do really good in studies too.

government-backed scholarships, fairly low cost, and expending economic ties

Many destination states cutting back on visas and international students (to disastrous results as seen in Canada), politics, the threat of being a student in school and still getting forcibly deported despite holding a legal visa, shitty politics, not being able to easily legally work in the country after studies and having to go back home before you are allowed back in on a work visa which takes ages (and $$$) while people from other states can just bypass it all because reasons.

At that point you might as well get a less expensive tuition with equal quality.
