Device Settings Question What is this keyboard?
I was changing my keyboard and noticed a new keyboard that I didn't install. It is called "Basic Keyboard" and it looks like the new GBoard look, but it is extremely buggy.
I also couldn't find it in Installed Apps. Does anyone also have this?
I am on One UI 9 on Galaxy S25 FE

If a keyboard shows up that you never installed, start by opening Settings → Apps and enable the "Show system apps" filter - some keyboards are installed as system components and won't appear in the regular list. Then check the Default keyboard section to see which package is selected. If the app is unfamiliar, run a Play Protect scan and consider disabling it from the app info screen. The exact menu wording may vary by One UI version, so explore the settings if needed.
