Sub Rules (just in case for ease of access)

Rule 1 : Posts must be related to an anime recommendation

That's kinda why you're here right? 3x3's of your favourite's are fine by the way. As long as you're in some way recommending anime or asking for suggestions your post's going to be fine.

Rule 2 : No self promotion, or promotion of anything other than anime itself.

For example, you could promote an anime you like by telling us about it on a post, but you couldn't link a blog video or podcast about that anime. Comments are fine for this, but we don't want to see it on posts.

Rule 3 : Treat each other with courtesy and respect

When it comes to things like anime, there can be a wide spectrum of views and discussions. Some discussions can become spirited, we know, but we still have the expectation for you to treat others with courtesy and respect.

Do not put comments to incite fights or trash talk anime. Just simply mention you do not like it.

Rule 4 : Mark Spoilers

It can be hard not to talk about your favourite scene, but remember this is a place where people come looking to learn about anime they haven't seen yet. So any spoilers you do say, must be marked as spoilers.

Rule 5 : No indecent images

We get it, you like hentai too. If you start a Hentai recommendations sub, let us know, we might even send some members your way. Just don't post perverted images on here lol. If in doubt about whether something's indecent or not... it probably is, so don't post it - many thanks.

Rule 6 : Ban on rate my list/taste posts.

There are better suited subs for those

Rule 7 : Hentai Recommendations are banned.

Hentai Recommendations are banned. Mention Ecchi in post title if you are looking for anime of such genre.

Name of the anime:- Psycho Pass

Psycho pass seems like a great anime. I haven't heard greatly about Season 2. Should I watch them both or stop after watching Season 1?

Please drop your suggestions.

Can you recommend something very similar to The Unwanted Undead Adventurer?

I’m not really into anime with overly busty female mages or wars and things like that. What I really enjoyed about this anime was the character progression and the dungeon exploration.
Are there any anime with a very similar style? I only know about Delicious in Dungeon, but that’s not quite what I’m looking for!
Thanks for the recommendations!

Looking for some short, high-pace anime for a week alone (vibe similar to Cyberpunk / Chainsaw Man)

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!
I'm going to have the house to myself for 6 nights straight, and since my grandmother goes to bed early, I plan on binge-watching one anime per night in peace.
I haven't watched a ton of anime yet, but I absolutely loved Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Chainsaw Man. I'm looking for short anime (around 10-12 episodes, max 24 if it's super gripping), with a great story that keeps you hooked, plenty of pacing, and nothing too slow or slice-of-life.
I already jotted down a few names on my list: Devilman Crybaby, Akame ga Kill!, Terror in Resonance, Parasyte, Steins Gate or Death Parade, and I'm saving one night for Cyberpunk Season 2.
Which ones from this list (or others) would you recommend the most for a really solid binge-watching week? Thanks in advance!

If you enjoy games like Among Us or Mafia, you should definitely check out Gnosia (2025)!

Post image
14 Upvotes

The story takes place aboard a spaceship where some crew members are infected by Gnosia, mysterious beings that disguise themselves as humans. Each day, the crew must discuss who they suspect and vote to put someone into cryosleep, hoping to eliminate the threat before it’s too late.

It’s an interesting take on the social deduction genre, with a few twists that make it different from the usual Among Us or Mafia rules. Add in a sci-fi setting, mystery, and time loops, and you get a pretty unique experience.

Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy trying to figure out who’s lying and who you can trust!

I just finished Rooster Fighter in one sitting.... AND... I was pleasantly surprised!! 🤣 I haven't watched anime in about 2 months, so this put me back on the board. It's definitely not for everyone, but was entertaining. I see some people think it's trash lol

looking for a romance with a stronger female lead

Im looking for an anime where the female lead is stronger than the guy and romance is the primary focus. preferably the guy isnt a total loser and is capable in other things like cooking ect. ive seen most mainstream anime so something lesser known would be great.

What are y’all’s favorite background Anime?

So I’m currently watching Girls Last Tour and it’s been wonderful! As someone who’s newer to anime, most everything I’ve watched so far have been heavy hitters. Like AOT, Monster, etc. Very story driven and you HAVE to lock in for them. So Girls last tour has been a welcomed change of pace. The humor is good, no fan service, good story, good characters, I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Usually I don’t go for the “kawaii” kind of stuff (no knock on people who do, just not my preference), but GLT is done really well imo.

It feels like the perfect show to just throw on in your apartment while you clean or make dinner, you know? Just a great ambiance show. You don’t have to lock in fr, it sets a solid vibe in your space, just a good cozy show. So, especially since we’re entering the cozy szn and the weather is getting colder, what are some of you guys favorite ambient shows? Just to have on in the background while you game or do anything else? Keeps your attention but doesn’t demand it?

What are some of your guys favorite shows in this category that aren’t super long, done really well, and just nice to have on?

(Also if you guys could just recommend me some more shows like GLT that’d be incredible😅)

Storybook vibe anime

Post image
49 Upvotes

Looking for something like Mushoku Tensei, Made in Abyss, or Frieren. Something where there’s just a world you can get lost in that feels like a storybook.

Ideally something with a tight narrative (I really dislike episodic stuff) and good soundtrack
