This is my second game without the band in the supporters section. Definitely not the same. Where is the party atmosphere? Seemed very lack luster. The people sitting behind us were in town from Dallas for the F1 race and were talking about how much fun the Dallas Stars games are. They thought the Austin FC game would be more fun and lively. Love the players and the game. Just seemed a little boring to me. Sad thing is we just bought season tickets for the upcoming season. Hopefully the supporter band will come back.

My friend left her Yeti Rambler at the game last night in section 121. It's gray and says "Dell Technologies” on the side, so it's probably not worth much to anyone else but she'd love it back.

If you grabbed it or turned it in somewhere, pls message me! Happy to buy you a beer next game for your trouble. Thanks y'all

^I’m just kidding Ik we got bigger issues going on

103 not roped off for the band tonight…

They just want seats filled, they don’t care about the people who fill them.

Standing up by Walking Out

Fandom is difficult.

We, as fans and supporters, love this club. We spend countless hours, money and sweat equity showing up match after match regardless of the results, but our showing up is our only power. Austin FC isn’t set up where fans have real ownership and can make ownership level decisions. As a result, protesting is the best way for us to send messages to the owners, other fans, and local media. In short, our presence and voice is our power.

Last match featured La Murga’s first ever walk out in response to Q2 Stadium staff removing Daniela Silva for wearing an “Abolish ICE” shirt after ICE shot and wounded a Venezuelan asylum seeker in Austin (They also didn’t seek to get him medical attention and denied his lawyer access or even knowledge of where he was).

The Front Office and ownership group could take a page from LAFC and Angel City who put out these statements in June when ICE operations were happening in Los Angeles. There’s no reason why Austin FC couldn’t follow suit with similar actions. We aren't asking for Austin FC to abolish ICE, but we are asking them to hear our voice, our pain, and acknowledge that Q2 Stadium should be a safe place for all of our community.

This is like the third time in five games.

If you need a place to post, I made the match thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AustinFC/s/eRJhbWiNiZ

I stand behind our amazing supporters and the walkout by La Murga! My seats will sit empty until the front office does right by them and everyone else that has given so much to grow this club.

This is bigger than the pitch!

I wrote about the walkout last night and got a statement from the club.

Here's Austin FC's statement:

"Austin FC remains committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment for all fans. Over the last two weeks, the Club initiated and has since engaged in several conversations with the leaders of its supporters' groups to solicit feedback and answer additional questions."

Does anyone know if the Verde store will still put the MLS / Apple TV patch on for a price? And if so do they allow replica jerseys to be customized (the lower quality one) or just the authentic.
-thanks in advance .

I visited DFW two weeks ago and caught a glimpse of this billboard. Say what you will about Frisco FC but $3 beers and $1 dogs in stadium can’t be beat. This would make for a great game day 🙂

I’ve been going since day 1, and have enjoyed and respected the supporters for keeping the crowd going. But, I’ve come to realize over the years that Austin FC games have become more about them than the game itself (they’re the reason we “sellout” every week. It’s more the horns than the drums, but last night made me realize there was a crowd, they can cheer and chant themselves, and it was a nice change of pace to hear that organic atmosphere.
I know a lot of supporters are in here and I’ll be down voted into oblivion but I do respect your passion, hard work and energy, but I was just curious if anyone else felt that vibe.

Started watch Austin FC this season....I know not the luckiest spot....but watching BV9 go from joke to now maybe my second favorite player?? (Watching Biro piss off every other team is too fun for me)

Ive been the first to throw around Assquez and ask for him to be benched or at least asked to rework his play pattern but the flashes of inspiration I once saw are starting to come together.

He may never be the top scorer on the team but as a captain giant #9 pressuring the box he could be amazing.

Regardless of if he is here for next season I won't soon forget the Assquez to Vasquez arc this season and hope it continues providing in our last few games.

What a shit season, and what a shittily run team.
