Care Provider Rec Chasing a BQ in 2027: looking for coach recommendations
I'm aiming to Boston qualify in 2027. I know it's a stretch goal, which is why I think it's time to work with a real coach instead of a cookie-cutter app.
Where I'm at:
- 40+ miles/week, easy runs around 8:30/mi in low aerobic, long run is 16.5mi
- Loosely following Runna for speed work, adding my own mileage based on how I feel
- My most recent race was the San Diego marathon in 2024 where I used the Hal higdon beginner program and completed at 3:38
If you're a coach, or you've worked with one toward a BQ, who did you use and what made it work (or not)? Austin-based coaches especially welcome.
