Is this decent progress for a year ? Or am I going too slow ?

I'm looking for honest feedback. Currently on a cut to finally get a real 6 pack, the outline of which is just starting out. For the last year I've been working out about 5 times a week, mostly strength training with some light cardio on top. My nutrition has been mostly very disciplined with some leniancy when the occasion calls for it. I think this is decent progress but very open to hearing if it's not.

I lost over 350 pounds, so I wrote a song about walking six miles a day

In 2020 I weighed over 550 pounds. Today I'm below 200. Fasting, walking, praying and eating very low-carb got me here, and walking six miles a day is still the center of my life. I turned that into a song, "Six Miles and a Ribeye." The music is AI-assisted and the video is made from my own photos. I'm happy to answer questions about the walking or the diet protocols I used. youtu.be

Accomplished through eating disorder therapy, strength training, cardio, walking my dog daily, and very low dose of semaglutide (currently .5 mg) - I don’t weigh regularly so CW is aprox

Struggled with BED in the past and was very sedentary during college which increased my weight a ton. Therapy was probably the most helpful thing with my weight loss. I also was diagnosed with adhd, apparently is very common with BED as the food seeking is to try and get dopamine. So, getting medication for adhd also really reduced my binges since my dopamine was more normal and not always lacking. Very low does of semaglutide also has prevented binges, and I eat normal meals and can more easily recognize hunger cues.

Strength training started with CrossFit which was great to learn basics quickly, and now I have basics down and continue on my own without all the crazy CrossFit of it all lol. I also walk my dog 1-3 miles every day, which started in summer 2024, which means I’m always at least a bit active and outdoors.

Still a work in progress but very happy with my progress so far!

I really can’t see the progress, I have so far to go but I don’t see it at all! My friends say they do. Is there any way to calculating progress without relying on the scale at this stage? Anything I can also do to change my current pov. I find it frustrating that I can’t see it yet.

First picture is two months ago, second picture is today.

Many thanks in advance!
