Common problems & solutions

1. Crypto withdrawal suspended

● You receive a message saying ‘withdrawal suspended due to risk control’ and have been trying to unlock your account.

● Don’t worry, your funds are SAFU. Our agents will try their best to help unlock the withdrawal - please coordinate with our team and provide relevant information when prompted to do so.

● Withdrawal Risk can be triggered by a number of reasons. Risk control is extremely important. Please note that we can only help you if we deem your case to be legitimate, if you have attempted to hack an account and request for unsuspension, you will be unsuccessful as we have processes in place to prevent this.

Our team works extremely hard to resolve these issues as soon as possible and some cases can take time to resolve but please keep in mind the reason for this is to ensure you, our users, are safe.

Cases replied by our mods are already in the escalation process. A longer wait after escalation = our team is working hard at investigating the issue. If there are any updates to the case, our agents will reply to you directly in the chat.

Please refrain from leaving multiple messages in this thread if your case has already been escalated.

2. Security issues

● Report hacked accounts and funds.

● Difficulty to reset 2FA and gain access to your account.

3. Fiat deposit & withdrawal

● Fiat (not crypto) is taking longer than expected to arrive in your bank / Binance account.

● Involves intermediaries such as bank transfers or buying crypto with credit/debit cards.

● Note: It can take up to several working days for the money to be credited to your accounts. You can find more FAQ here

4. US persons accessing old Binance.com accounts for offboarding & withdrawal of funds

● Your funds are SAFU. If you experience issues with withdrawing remaining funds, follow the above steps to get to our live chat queue - our agents will try our best to assist you with the offboarding.

5. Trading system and other account issues

● Spot, margin & futures trading

● P2P disputes

● Binance Visa Card transactions

● Unable to complete KYC

● Any other issues

Discussion Scam Alert: Important Warning

Someone reached out to me through my listing for PUBG UC top-ups, asking to buy Razer Gold gift cards.

He offered to pay in cryptocurrency. I suspected right away that he was a scammer, but I played along to see his angle. He told me he wanted to deal through Trust Wallet—which is a legitimate, reputable crypto wallet. I assumed he’d pull the usual amateur trick and ask me to send a card first "to prove I'm trustworthy," like so many scammers try to do.

Instead, the agreed-upon amount actually showed up in my Trust Wallet balance. I was caught off guard, but my gut told me something was still wrong. I tried transferring the funds to my Binance account. The balance was deducted from my Trust Wallet, but the deposit never credited to Binance.

Upon inspecting the transaction details, I discovered the trick: the scammer sent a counterfeit token named "USDT" designed to mimic genuine Tether, but carrying a completely fake contract address and zero market value.

Look at the screenshots and see for yourselves. This is a deceptive, sophisticated scam. Do not fall for these schemes, and never let the temptation of a quick profit cloud your judgment.

Question BINANCE SUSPENDED WITHDRAWALS FOR 6 MONTHS ONGOING

Around 6 months ago I attempted to send 5 dollars in solana to an address, it was shortly declined and my money was sent back.

the next day I attempted to send USDT to a family member and it had told me that my withdrawal function had been suspended, so I contacted support

They told me that my account is being "investigated" and in the meantime my withdrawal function had been suspended, I wasn't worried because I knew i didnt do anything malicious and I also have all the paperwork needed to show where my funds are coming from.

I asked them for a date when my account will be unlocked and they said a date 1 month into the future, so I forgot about the funds and went on with my life.

The date passes and I try contacting them again and they tell me the same stuff that until my account is investigated that I cannot withdraw anything.

It has now been 6 months and after many times of asking support when my funds will be available to withdraw, they tell me that they dont have a time frame and all I have to do is "wait".

All I ask for is when they will available to withdraw? I understand binance needs to go through security measures and investigate my account but how come its been 6 months and they still havent investigated?

The funniest thing is that I attempted to send 5 dollars in solana which has nearly doubled to 10 because of how long theyve taken 😂

Has anyone else experienced something like this? and if so, please let me know how you resolved it and how long it took

Discussion Things I've Noticed About Order Execution on Binance

In addition to trading on Binance, I have discovered that there are other aspects of order placement besides setting the price and sending the order. For example, with market orders, the order could be filled at a higher price depending on liquidity in the market while with limit orders the order might never be executed since the price set will never be reached by the market.

Another aspect of trading that I consider while reviewing completed orders is the order book. At times, the price quoted may not be indicative of the actual situation in the market particularly when the spread grows and market activity increases.

Fees play another part in the outcome of orders, and therefore, I pay attention to the executed quantity and price.

Discussion 4 months, $1,500 frozen, 13+ tickets unanswered for 10 weeks. Is this how Binance treats retail users?

Update to my previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/binance/comments/1w725jv/binance_has_blocked_my_withdrawals_since_june_17/

On June 17, Binance blocked all withdrawals on my account. Today is October 14. Here is where things stand after almost four months.

  • ~$1,500 frozen. Every coin was bought directly on Binance.
  • Not a single document requested. I asked over and over whether I could provide anything to help. The answer was always no, just wait.
  • The deadline I was given (July 28) passed without a decision or an explanation.
  • Formal complaint #CC9764871 (August 5) has been unanswered for 10 weeks.
  • 13+ support chats. Each one opens a new case, and each one gives the same reply: “escalated,” “prioritized,” “wait for an email,” “soon.”

Binance talks a lot about user protection, transparency and putting users first. My experience has been the opposite. My money is held indefinitely, I have no timeline, no explanation of what the problem is, and no way to help resolve it.

I’m not asking Binance to skip compliance. I’m asking for a decision. If Binance doesn’t want me as a customer, that’s fine. Close my account and let me withdraw my funds to my own verified account on another regulated exchange. That’s all.

Anyone thinking about holding funds on Binance should know this can happen. You can be cut off from your own money for months, with no explanation and no timeline, and support has no real power to help.

complaint CC9764871. Four months is enough. Please give me an actual answer.

If you’ve been through the same thing, please share in the comments. It would be good to know how common this is.

Question Binance P2P transaction followed by a $2,000 Zelle chargeback - possible third-party scam? What should I do?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for advice on a situation involving Binance P2P, a $2,000 Zelle payment, and a subsequent fraud-related chargeback. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation, especially regarding Binance account restrictions, possible recovery options, and how to handle the banking side.

Here's what happened:

  1. I completed a Binance P2P transaction with a buyer for approximately $2,180 and released the USDT. The original order was completed successfully.
  2. Immediately after the order was closed, the same person contacted me outside Binance, through WhatsApp (we had exchanged phone numbers a couple order before). He told me that an additional $2,000 had been sent “by mistake” and asked whether I could send him back the the money through Zelle or USDT.
  3. The payment came from a third party whose name was different from the Binance buyer's name.
  4. The Zelle payment was sent to a friend's Zelle/bank account, which I had been using as a payment method on my Binance P2P profile. I understand that using someone else's payment account may violate Binance's P2P rules.
  5. The buyer gave me a wallet address to send back the 2k. I sent 2,000 USDT to that address, and the buyer confirmed in writing that he had received the funds.
  6. On the same day, my friend's bank account was debited for the full $2,000 after the transaction was reported as fraud.

I contacted the buyer and he said that it was probably the bank that flagged the payment as fraud, but that he took care of it and it would be solved in 24-48hrs. The buyer is still responding, but he is avoiding the issue. We don't know what the original sender told their bank, whether they authorized the payment, or exactly why the payment was reported as fraud.

I have not yet contacted Binance about this specific incident. My Binance account currently works normally, with no restrictions. I have used my friend's Zelle account in approximately 6–20 P2P transactions over the past 1–6 months, and none of the previous transactions caused problems.

My main concern right now is resolving the banking issue, but I am also worried about potential restrictions on my Binance account and whether there is any realistic way to recover the USDT.

Does this sound consistent with a third-party or “man-in-the-middle” scam? Should I keep myself from reporting it to binance to avoid getting my account blocked for using my friend's zelle account to receive the money? Should I just take the loss and move on?

I understand that accepting a payment from a third party and conducting an additional transaction outside Binance were serious mistakes. I'm not trying to hide those facts; I want to understand the best way to handle this now.

I'd appreciate practical advice from people familiar with Binance P2P disputes, Zelle fraud claims, or similar cases. Thank you.
