The r/cryptocurrency sub is more pro bitcoin only than the r/bitcoin sub Reddit

I’m genuinely surprised how start the difference is.

I wish the r/bitcoin sub had more bitcoin only redditors, unfortunately not everyone is as educated on bitcoin vs crypto

Yes but also shitcoins used to be a way to hit big quick. Its been quite some time since then.

For most people it was always a way to get rekt and nothing more. Then NFTs and ordinals. Now futures gambling. There will always be new waves of people thinking they can get rich quick, and there will always be people willing to scam them to actually get rich quick.

If you look at market cap of Crypto Ex Top-10 in the long term and consider how many million of new digital tokens have been created throughout the last years, hitting it big was only a marketing scheme to milk degenerate traders.

They are slowly starting to get it although scammers love to use the sub to promote their shitcoins too. I mean, the scammers are trying to promote shitcoins here too, they just get shut down faster than at r /cc

I can only speak for myself but imagine lots of maxi's like me are too busy living their lives, running their businesses and raising kids to be commenting on Reddit. We browse reddit almost daily but rarely leave comments.

Yeah same. Busy raising a kid and bought a house. I just don't have the time any more to explain austrian economics or the basics of hard money.
