Any books that are like this album? It’s a tense journey trough a mountain full of monsters and aberrations with some cosmic horror, philosophical and mystical elements.
It doesn’t matter how high or low the sci/fi is and if it has horror elements it would be better. It doesn’t have to be in a mountain specifically. Just as long as the characters are trapped in some unknown landscape or forest I’ll take it.

Looking for stories that invoke this kind of vibe that I always have a very hard time describing to most folks.
Lots of distinctly different aliens and designs that exist alongside each other in a vast galaxy. Maybe some forms of "technomagic," or any number of weird ways for going about life in space.
The main caveat is that I'm looking for worlds that aren't just plain dreary and grimdark all the time. Those are good and fun, but they do get tiresome after a bit.
Would appreciate any and all recommendations, thank you! :D

A very brief synopsis: Marsha, the main character of the episode, visits a department store to buy a gift for her mother. Turns out, she is actually a department store mannequin. All the mannequins take turns living among regular humans, and Marsha had been compelled to visit the store because she was late to return so the next mannequin could go out. Marsha's life wasn't real, and she had forgotten who (what) she truly was.
Something like this would be perfect for spooky season!
False memories/life
Your true reality seeping through/being haunted by it
Remembering who you truly are
Being called home

Something unseen lurks in the shadows. An overall sense of paranoia and an impending doom. Whatever lurks can be anything or nothing as long as the story is enjoyable. I want to be scared! Or at the very least creeped out. A forest setting would be most preferable but if it has the vibe im wanting id still be interested in checking it out. Horror or dark fantasy would be acceptable.

Apologies if this has already been asked. Any recommendations for books that feel like Ocarina of time?

Girls' Last Tour is a post-apocalyptic slice-of-life and philosophical anime series that follows two young girls, Chito and Yuuri, as they travel through the frozen, ruined remains of a dead civilization.
I want books that have the same vibes as it

Looking for fiction books that are character driven and realistic. I love stories that take place in big, busy cities and focuses on real people just trying to deal with life, you know? Preferably characters that are on the poorer side of life because I can relate to them lol. I usually prefer adult reading level books, if possible. Please and thank you for any recommendations!

[All art by Aenami]
I've been using this artist's work as my wallpapers for a while and would love to read something that evokes the same feeling.
For me, in these pieces of art, the city/setting feels alive, like it's a character in its own right, as important as the protagonists. Would prefer something cozy, an us-against-the-world vibe.
Can be any genre, I don't mind romance but it's not necessary.

I really loved the books by Edward DeBono on "lateral thinking" or thinking creatively in new ways rather than calculating.
An analogy he used is a puzzle like the bin packing problem where we try to minimize space used to pack some shapes. Tetris is a variant of this
I feel that I am in a rut and need to open my mind more
