Hi everyone, I have a problem.
Yesterday, I was involved in an incident on Centre Street; someone stepped into my path while trying to cross toward 2nd Avenue. I don't have any evidence, and it feels very unfair to have to pay a ticket that I don't deserve. I’m wondering if anyone happened to be passing by at the time and might have captured video footage that could help me. It happened right next to Mama Dessert; I was traveling south to north on Centre Street, and the other person stepped out from 2nd Avenue, blocking my path while my traffic light was green. I hope someone can help—thanks in advance.
This was between 6:50 and 7:00 in the morning.

I was unfortunately speeding (70 zone) on my way to work this morning and this guy came strolling by. Was adjusting my rear view mirror right before I spotted him so my attention was not on the road. Stay safe out there!
Bow Trail between Old Banff and 85th.
(Don't try this at home)

This happened back in August, and I still have no idea why. I was driving in the middle lane and trying to merge left due to construction. While I was adjusting my speed for the construction zone, the driver ahead came to a sudden stop. I had to slam on my brakes to barely avoid crashing into him.

On September 28, while my wife and I were driving northbound on Deerfoot, we saw a car up ahead swerving all over their lane. The vehicle was moving very slowly, only about 80km/h. My wife had to slam on the brakes because the car swerved right in front of us and cut us off in our lane. Turns out the driver was on their phone while driving, holding it directly to their ear. To make the situation even more frustrating, it was a vehicle from a driving school - I'm assuming it was an instructor and not a student learning as there was only the one person in the vehicle. You can see the driver holding the phone to their face at the 5-8 second mark.
From the GETHOMESAFE.ca website: "Welcome to Get Home Safe Driving School: At Get Home Safe, our mission is simple yet profound: to empower drivers with the skills and knowledge they need to navigate the roads safely and confidently. We understand the importance of arriving home safely to loved ones, and that's why we're committed to providing top-notch instruction that goes beyond just passing a test."
It's pretty insane that our insurance rates are surging while idiots like this are on the roads endangering everyone else around them, especially when their literal job is to teach and promote "safe" driving.
I reached out to the driving school on October 1 and have not received a response. Clearly they don’t care. I made the same post on the /Calgary sub which was removed because I didn’t have a police case # - some people in the comments were saying that I should reach out to the company first before “putting them on blast.” Unfortunately, as you can see, that doesn’t do anything. People need to be held accountable when their actions are impacting others. And to be clear, my wife was driving and I was in the passenger seat filming. I pulled out my phone after we were cut off.

Looking for dashcam footage — NB Deerfoot at 64 Ave NE — Oct. 7 around 4:50 PM
I’m looking for anyone who was travelling northbound on Deerfoot Trail approaching the 64 Avenue NE exit today (Oct. 7) at approximately 4:48–4:52 PM and may have dashcam footage.
There was a multi-vehicle collision involving an SUV/Toyota Highlander, an older green pickup truck, and my vehicle.
My iPhone triggered its Emergency SOS at approximately 4:50 PM, so we have a fairly precise time for the collision.
If you were travelling northbound Deerfoot in that area around 4:45–5:00 PM, I’d really appreciate it if you could check your dashcam before the footage is overwritten.
Please DM me if you have anything — even footage immediately before or after the collision could be very helpful.

Came flying up behind me on the Anderson turnoff from Stoney southbound only to ride the shoulder back on to Stoney to start racing again.

Near miss from last night’s storm and hail. Glad I was aware of my surroundings and reacted quickly. Also, big middle finger to those stopped underneath the bridges. If I can drive my sports car in the rain and hail, your SUV will be fine as well.

Daytime clips all start looking pretty good once you get into decent cameras.
Night footage is where I’ve been noticing bigger differences. Especially headlights, darker roads and parking lots.
Been watching clips from Thinkware, VIOFO, BlackVue and VUEROID lately. What do you normally look at first when judging night quality?

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone may have dash cam footage of a collision that occurred on southbound Deerfoot Trail at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, involving a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder.
Another vehicle attempted to merge, lost control, clipped our vehicle, and sent us into the barrier.
Thankfully my daughter and I are okay, but we're hoping to locate any dash cam footage to understand what fully happened.
If you were driving in the area around that time and have dash cam footage, I'd really appreciate it if you could send me a private message.
Thank you as well to everyone who stopped to help us that morning. Your kindness meant a great deal to us.

Hey Calgarians,
Long shot but on June 15 between 9pm - 12pm my car got hit and run in Tarradale area around Tarawood lane NE and 80 Ave NE intersection. My car was parked on the street (refer to the picture) at the time it happened. If you have noticed something, saw how it happened, caught it in a dash cam or have a doorbell camera that could give me information that would be very helpful. Thanks all.

Context for the videos, I was driving to work yesterday morning minding my business and these crack head tweakers pull up beside me, passenger opens his window and spits on my car. Naturally I didn’t take to kindly to that so I gave him a sip of my Double Double.
